Would not recommend getting your nails done here. My pedicure was $60 and there was no foot massage. Just nail polish. My manicure was way over priced. The nail tech was new and I got gel x and french tips. They look good from a distance but they are way too thick and $100... kind of ridiculous. This is a very nice clean spa. I made an appointment & the gal was very pleasant on the phone and went thru the spa menu with me on the different choices I had. It's a beautiful place and I felt really good when I arrived I was greeted & was waited on right away. Courtney did my pedicure she was outstanding the best pedicure I have ever had And that is the truth. She is the nicest gal we chatted for that hour I felt like we were friends she explained & helped me pick out the pedicure that was best for me. What a great experience! My friend and I decided to do a spa day at the last minute when we found Spa 2000 online. We scheduled a Spa Facial, a one hour Massage, Pedicures and a hair blow out. Such a wonderful staff and enjoyable day! Dressing Rooms are nice, bathrooms are clean. Complimentary coffee and wine for purchase are nice perks. I honestly forgot where I was for a moment here, endulging in a 90min deep tissue Mx with an atmosphere similar to a fancy shmancy Vegas/LA/Miami resort spa this experience was well had at Spa2000 in Sioux Falls. Lucky me I got Micky. She's got just the right touch, just the right amt of deep pressure I needed, and the skillset of a therapist I been needing. Extra points for making sure I got off the table feeling balanced all around and idk how u do it, being able to hold a position with that amount of pressure being applied and not breaking/shaking for the duration. My boyfriend and I wanted to get a couples massage so I looked up places and picked the first one that came up with good reviews. Bad idea. First off staff was pleasant and very friendly over the phone and when we were there for our 60 min massage. Other than that our experience was far from great. The robes felt old and scratchy, after getting into our robes they had us go back into the public waiting room which was pretty awkward especially because we were sitting in there for 25 minutes when we had even arrived early to ensure we had time to change and fill out any paperwork bc we both hadn't been there. Pretty pointless when we sit and wait for that long after our scheduled time. Next our massages were not great either, we both like deep pressure and didn't come close to getting that nor were we asked if pressure was good at any point during so I had even vocally asked for deeper pressure and my masseuse added a bit more pressure then later awkwardly asked me if it was ok or if i needed anymore changes as if it were an inconvenience so that too was upsetting. Also the sheets used on massage tables also felt really old and used. After our massages we were able to sit in steam room for 30 min and that was ok but not very hot and locker room was ok but not the cleanest, same with steam room, there was dirt or something on floor and a dirty rug laying in shower area. The complimentary wine were in old plastic glasses that didn't seem very clean and very much used, the bite size cheesecake and cream puffs were ok. I wouldn't recommend this place for a massage, we didn't try any of the other services that are available but definitely wasn't worth $215 and will not be going back there to be honest. read more

Nice place - but the website needs a lot of work. It's not user friendly at all. It's very busy - covered in a zillion different fonts, sizes and colors and difficult to navigate. If pricing is available online - I can't find it. It should be there, and it should be easy to find. Until they fix this, you are best of stopping in. read more

Was definitely disappointed with the deep tissue massage. The massage therapist was very sweet but she spent more time adjusting the blankets than focusing on the massage. Also way too much oil. I have had hundreds of massages and this was one of the worst :( read more

When I jokingly said something to the front desk when paying the owner came out of her office and made a rude statement. I advised I was also a smoker and understood and said thats why i have gum buth then she started to tell me why would I even make the comment then? We had a large group attend starting at 9am. We were told that we'd be out of there by 11:30am, noon at the latest. It was 1pm by the time we were done. We also had a couple people wait 1 hr. before they got their first session in. If you're paying that much for a manicure/pedicure/massage, I'd suggest going elsewhere. A couple of the manicures looked like an amateur did it and someone got a burn on their foot from their pedicure. The massages were sub-par also. I honestly don't like giving 5 star reviews because I feel like it's disingenuous but I couldn't find a reason to dock this place. I made a last minute hair appointment (I'm from KC) because I got a wild hair (pun intended) to make a drastic change. My fella was hanging with his son & I thought, "Hey, I don't think I want to be blonde anymore." I did what I'm sure all stylists despise; I came with a picture. And let's be honest, we all want to look like the girl in the picture not just exit with her hair color. Anywho, the shade I picked out was a super cool rose gold brown. Josie was up for the challenge & did she ever deliver. Not only did she think I was 26...I will always love her for that but she spent time on my hair to get it as close as possible to that color. I have a stylist in KC who is my guru but I can't remember the last time I walked out of a salon feeling like Beyonce. She was fun, sweet, personable, you name it. It really was an absolute joy being a patron here. I will definitely come back for another service. read more

My husband and I do a couples massage about once a year for our anniversary and we always enjoy it! We have always had great massage therapists that make it relaxing. With the couples massage you get to sit in the steam room and enjoy a dessert with a glass of champagne which is a great way to end the day after a relaxing massage. I got an prenatal massage and a blow out. The massage wasn't a bad massage and the blow out was great but the reason for the bad review is the way they handled the hour massage. I did show up a few minutes late due to the weather which I was told was just fine because they weren't busy this afternoon anyways. My massage started 15 minutes late then and also for some reason ended about 10 minutes before when it was suppose to be done so basically I got a 30 minute massage. When checking out I figured I would be paying for maybe a 45 minute massage but still had to pay for a full hour massage! I understand I was a few minutes late but it still shouldn't have ended early then and when checking in they made it sound like it was going to still be the full hour because they weren't busy! Just think when you are paying that much for a massage only getting half of it is a bit ridiculous!! Next time I will be going elsewhere! read more

I wasn't mad at all, but was absolutely shocked by how the owner reacted when the therapist and I told her what happened. If I could give them zero stars I would. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had! I was treated rudely from the time I set up my appointment to the excruciating minute when it was finally over. The manager/owner was rude and seemed too busy to talk to me directly when I requested to follow up with her about my experience. Sadly I could here her rude response through the phone to the poor receptionist who was simply trying to show some customer service (which is hard to find at this place). Seems consistent with the culture created her - staff were rude, my time was disrespected (was forced to wait while they caught up what they had for lunch that day), and the air was filled with negativity as I was forced to overhear employees criticize and speak poorly of what I surmised to be a customer that just left. Really, horrible atmosphere here and if you are going there with the thought of trying to relax I would suggest finding another spa. I couldn't believe how terrible the whole environment was there, especially given how expensive the services are. This was my first experience there and unfortunately I have 2 gift certificates for this horrible place. I attempted to get a refund for the second one, but apparently they have a no refund policy that they certainly do not advertise or tell you about at time of purchase. Clearly they are operating on one time customers only because I have yet to find anyone with a different experience from mine. To all those thinking of giving a gift certificate to a loved one from here - I would only recommend it if you are seeking to break up, divorce, or otherwise cut them from your life all together. To send them here is to tell them you hate them. The absolute worst experience ever. I will never go back and will make sure all my friends hear about my experience so they are not forced into the same horrible treatment. Worst. Experience. Ever! read more
