First time here and it's not bad. It is a place for studying. It has desks, booths with bean bags…read moreand pillows and low tables as well as big tables for groups. I went here with friends and we got a booth upstairs. It wasn't too loud so I was able to get some studying done. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and it was good! Maybe kind of pricey it was 160P. Didn't try the food but the cakes are 100 plus for a slice. Come here for the studying environment. It is very cute. I was here on a Friday night and it wasn't completely packed. Hopefully I can go here earlier in the day so I can really study all day here. It is open until 3am! My issue is that there is no wifi...only good thing is that less distractions but sometimes you just need some good wifi while studying. Excited to come back here and study even more :)

But what I love about this cafe is their booths for seating. If you are fond of sitting in the floor or lying down, then this place is for you! It's a great place to hang out with your friends, chill and it is also a great place for study. They have ample electric outlets which make them also a great place to work or charge your gadgets. One downside is that they don't have wifi, which is one of the things I consider for a perfect hangout place. But if you do want to really talk and hangout with your friends, this will be a good place for you.

Having experienced living in BF for a couple of years, what I really love about this village is…read morethat it has a little bit of everything from outside its own bubble that it leaves you with very little excuse to venture out into the world (except for, you know, going to work/school). Even if it's a bit of arts and culture you're craving, BF's got you covered, too. Artists Haven Gallery and Cafe is along Aguirre Avenue, the subdivisions' main road known also as a foodie destination in itself. From the outside it does seem really small, like what might be just another gallery.. perhaps a room and some paintings. Little did I know that it's truly like a "haven" for artists--spacious and beautifully designed interiors, a well-curated collection of paintings and sculptures, and they have a cafe too! It's a place that anyone would really be inspired to create in, or if you'd simply want to forget that you're in BF for a while, this is the place to go to "rejuvenate" your soul... or something. They also offer art workshops for kids and adults, too! If you're not much into the arts, don't walk away, they have a charming cafe for you. The dishes are named after painters! Though for vegetarians/vegans, there are only a few veggie options: just soups and salads, for which you'd have to still request to remove ingredients X, Y and Z from, just ask). I tried one of their best sellers, Crispy Suman con Tsokolate (you can request for dairy to be omitted), which is a good choice for a light merienda. I was able to chat with the owner of a place, and news is that they're coming up with regular events that involve live music and wine!

A hidden gem in Sikatuna Village, this little cafe which provides the ultimate cat cafe experience…read moreat an unbeatable price. Reservations need to be made for a group, but if you are by yourself, they may let you in without one. The entrance fee is 200 pesos; 100 goes to the maintenance of the cats, the other 100 goes to the purchase of a drink or food item. The real highlight of course are the cats, which are ALL rescues and can be adopted! At the same time, don't expect this cafe to be good for studying, you will most likely be distracted for obvious reasons. The cafe itself is clean, cute, and filled with lots of interesting cat toys and houses. Coffee was solid and strong, just like the wifi. Note: Please do not expect all the cats to be cuddly and such, that's just how they all are.

They were stray cats before, good thing Cat Cafe Manila adopted them. Awwwwww. You guys can also adopt them! They were all lovely and sweet, as I said I am not a fan of cats but staying here for almost an hour makes me like them even more.  Before entering, you have to leave your shoes outside. But you can wear slippers from cat cafe. The place is so nice! There's a lot of little houses for the cats and toys. For the snacks, we tried the quiche lorraine, mocha cupcake, speculoos frappe, lavender soda and brazillian-colombian brew. I love the mocha cupcake! Moist and fluffy. I also like the quiche lorraine, the taste is well-balanced. They're selling cute stuff here! Cat ear clips, notepads and etc. So guys, If you love cats and willing to adopt or just want to relax for an hour, Try to visit Cat Cafe Manila or visit their webiste at catcafemanila.com, for more updates and information. I asked what their bestseller was and they recommended the Irish Coffee Latte. I'm very happy I listened to them. It was delicious!!! I've had the opportunity to try their Latte and Choco Peppermint. Both pretty good too. The latte normal but good. The iced version can be filling. The Choco Peppermimt was not too sweet with the right hint of mint. I was also very surprised with how much my coffee was! In general, their prices are very affordable! I hope it stays that way.

She even suggested I try it with a shot of vodka - a usual thing done to Irish cream coffees. I was feeling particularly bold that morning so I said obliged. And boy was it a real picker-upper! Needless to say, you should definitely try it out. Other than that drink, another reason I appreciated Urban Grind is because of its chill but modern ambience. There were a good number of couches - perfect for a chill hangout session with your friends. They also had work station-worthy tables, with accessible plugs to booth! It was great that I stopped by a couple of hours before lunchtime so I got to enjoy the place with just a couple of customers. I got to drink good coffee and work at the same time. I also liked this café's staff. They were all very helpful and accommodating, a specific trait I always look for in restaurants and coffee shops. At one point, I couldn't seem to get through their Internet connection; one of their waitresses walked up to me and helped me out, without me even asking her to! Really, truly appreciate such helpful service.
