Warning: Avoid this "business" at all costs. Several attendants in this establishment are incapable of thinking for themselves and exercising good discernment and judgement. They are under the sad delusion that it is "the law" to ask for everyones' I.D. Nothing could be further from the actual truth. I am a 64-yr.-old female who recently patronized this "Royals Cannabis" store in Spokane, WA, to purchase 2 bottles of Indica tincture oil, and there is absolutely NO DOUBT or QUESTION whatsoever that I am well over 21. Hence, there is no "need" for anyone to "see" my I.D. Rather, two attendants made a melodramatic scene about it "being the law" to "see" my "I.D." The ONLY "legal reason" anyone selling alcohol, cannabis or tobacco are required to "view" your "identification" is to simply verify that you are 21 or older. THAT is the "law" and the ONLY reason anyone needs to see your "I.D.," otherwise, it is NOT "necessary" for them to demand to "see" everyones' "I.D." Having five relatives in law enforcement allows me the latitude to be well-acquainted with these "laws." This is not an "issue" about the "law" ~ it is nothing more than a facist control & conformity issue. Stand your ground and resist being manipulated by refusing to do business with anyone who does not understand the ramifications of this kind of unnecessary control. Refuse to let mindless minion accomplices "blindly functioning" for the "corporatist-controllers" buffalo you using threats and intimidation. I am quite certain that there are other intelligently flexible cannabis stores out there that are much more deserving of your patronage. This place is my cannabis go to now. I'm a novice with everything cannabis and I was apprehensive to go to a smoke shop. The first one I went to in downtown Spokane was super crowded and felt very stressful. The girl behind the counter was rushing me and not helpful at all so I was nervous to ever visit another one. Royal was the opposite!!! So welcoming right when you walk in. More laid back and aesthetically pleasing than the other. I felt really comfortable. All staff was kind and helpful. Purchased an edible at Royals Cannabis at 5pm 2/18/2020. Arrived at home only to discover the package of 10 edibles expired on 2/20/2020. Took package back the next morning and requested an exchange of item not expired or refund. Was told no exchange and no refund. I was visiting the area for a couple of months and this instantly became my go to shop mainly because of the service provided by Nicole and Sam! Employees are very rude and not friendly. They frequently have overcharged me and I have had to correct them so I would receive the correct change back. This particular store does not care about medical patients and should seriously be ashamed they still hold their medical license when there are other stores more deserving and caring. I called numerous times to try to set up to renew my rec card and they were 100% zero help. I was told they can't do them on the weekend but to come in on Saturday anyway they would fix it. I get there after driving over a hour to be told no one is there who can do it, they refused to allow me my legal limit numerous times and I've had to argue with the bud tenders about what my legal limit is. Even though I've been using this place for over a year they still hassle me every single time about the amount I'm allowed to purchase. I'm done giving them my money period! Had a horrific customer service experience here yesterday. Bought an oil cartridge, and it was sticky and bubbling large amounts of air out of the coil straight out of the package, never used it or even pulled the plug off. They apparently don't store their cartridges upright. I asked for my money back instead of an exchange, and the manager's attitude was downright rude, adversarial, and escalatory. Even after I gave in and agreed to the exchange simply stating that I wouldn't be back, he continued to argue. Not de-escalate, or give me the name and number of somebody who does have the power to address my concerns, but literally continued to attack me. When I said he had a moral impetus to do what is right, the response was "do you sign my paychecks?". I pointed out that in fact my money and the money of other customers do comprise his paychecks, at which point he told me to "go stand over there, I don't need you in front of me." I was so disturbed by his offensive behavior that I decided it would be best to wait in the car while my girlfriend was completing the exchange with a much more friendly female emploee at the register. Predictably, the next cartridge also had sticky residue and large amounts of air burping out of the coil. Obviously stored on it's side like all the others, which causes them to leak, and the coil will burn if you don't stand it upright for a day or two to get the air out before you use it. They refused the return, saying the sticky residue must just be adhesive from the packaging (which was even on curved areas of the cartridge which couldn't come into contact with the back plane of the packaging). This was about 18 hours ago, and there's still yet another in an uninterrupted series of large bubbles working its way out as I type this. In summary: they have a no cash refunds policy even on damaged merchandise, no managerial training, no policy of making any attempt to make things right when a customer is unhappy, in fact will make you feel worse, and don't even know how to store an oil cartridge properly. And they're billing themselves as a premium quality retail outlet for discerning consumers? What a joke! read more

Have to say tonight it was nice. To go for a walk from motel after pulling into this city and seeing aftermath of a robbery, walked in at 9pm (witch alone was great) was greated by a nice friendly knowledgeable worker. That took his time with us. Did I say im a patient Medical card holder from Oregon. Everything we asked we didn't feel like we asked somethin wrong. He recommended a Stan that I in the end went with. He allowed us to see with a magnifying glass the oils and crystals inside the beautiful flower. This now will be our stop when we come to Spokane.
