Folks, these people had those 3 trees down safely, with no danger to the house, had the work site cleaned up, all wood hauled off, and area blown clear of sawdust. They were done by 1:00 PM and gone. WOW. Just, WOW! I have had a lot of tree work done over time. It is expensive, and rightly so, but…read moreit is always more expensive when there are branches hanging over a roof or near power lines, as I had. With recent record snowfall in the Atlanta area and cold temperatures that kept 6 inches, of heavy, wet snow icing over tree branches, I shuddered every time I looked at the overgrown white pine in my front yard. It's snow-burdened branches were touching the power lines and gusty winds were threatening to break those branches and bring down the power lines, leaving me in the cold dark. I requested a quote from ASAP Tree Services, a local provider. Adrian, the owner, came by the same day to give me an estimate. I wanted more demolition than landscaping: razing the 5' tall, spindly, unkempt box bushes along the house to the ground, taking out a deadly 10' holly bush, razing sad-looking azaleas that were not only overgrown and making the center of the yard ugly, but had been planted in the shade so they never flower anyway. Adrian's quote for the tree work AND the removal of overgrown bushes was half of what I expected it to be. He gave me great advice about hiring a landscaper for one job I needed done and he confidently explained what he could do to trim back the overgrown pines so that they didn't threaten the house's roof or the power lines. I was out for the day when Adrian came by and worked his Christmas Miracle for me. As I rounded the corner I literally screamed in delight at how amazing the yard looked! All of those ugly overgrown box bushes and hollys were gone opening up the yard and exposing the nice lines of the house. Not a wood chip was left behind - the yard was immaculately clean. Adrian climbed way, way up those teetering white pines and trimmed all the lower and middle branches that dripped sap on the roof and threatened the power lines. He razed the ugly azaleas and left a lovely open circle where I plan to put part-sun plants now, because with all the branches trimmed back to the trunk, sun will now grace that area. He must have remembered my grumbling about how I would have to duck under tree limbs when mowing the lawn because he also trimmed another tree for me, one whose low branches threaten to poke out an eye every time I tried to bring the mower in close to the trunk. In short, Adrian of ASAP Tree Services exceeded my expectations for results, left the yard exceptionally clean, and he did it at HALF the cost I would have expected. I have used this landscape supply company several times over the years to order mulch. Every year…read moreor so I need to replenish pine straw and brown mulch in my yard. I need quite a large supply and it is more efficient for me to order and have it delivered than for me to try to buy and transport the mulch myself. This is a very reliable company with decent prices. I just ordered 6 cubic yards of brown mulch and 15 bales of pine straw. The mulch is $29 per cubic yards and the pine straw $4.25. The delivery charge was $30 I was able to order over the phone and have it delivered the next day. They gave me a time window and came within an hour of their promised time and also called when they were on the way. All of the staff I have dealt with have been courteous and professional. If you are doing a landscape job and need a supply of mulch or rocks, I recommend trying this place. You can also visit their facility right on Sandy Plains to see what they have in stock and order there (which I have done before I decided what I needed).

Areas were out of control, we wanted trees planted, areas cleaned out, sod laid, and more. We spoke to several landscapers and received several quotes. One thing that stood out to me was that Elite was the only one who did not say they wanted to spray glyphosate all over. The others were adamant about it. Elite fixed the areas up with the goals we wanted for each space and they look great, no glyphosate needed. The crew worked so hard and they cleaned up after themselves each day. Their planning and execution was phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend Doug and his team for any size job, small medium or large. I was surprised when they said they'd come by around 6 pm for the quote. They gave a great deal and said they could do it first thing the next morning. They were prompt and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they double checked what needed to be done while also knowing what would harm the tree. They cleared away all branches, even a few that were already laying around the yard before they did any work. They were super nice and efficient. I would definitely use them in the future.
