I told her all the medication I previously tried for my rheumatoid and they were not working out for me and some of them caused blurry vision, so I stopped. She told me there is no way they could of caused vision problems. It says write on my prescription labels, one of the side effects was blurry vision. So she wanted me to start with the basic medication for a trial run, the one they first give you to try for rheumatoid athiritis. But I told her I already took all of that. Guess she didn't pay attention. Throughout the 20 min visit, all she kept talking about was weightloss and I need to excerise. I went in there for inflamation and to stop the curverture of my crooked fingers. All I could think about was how rude this doctor was talking about weight, it had nothing to do with rheumatoid arthiritis. As she headed and opened the door to leave, she told me to take the medication for two weeks and if it doesn't work to come back and see her to go to her weightloss clinic. I was totally shocked and very disappointed, I couldn't believe it. Don't waste your time here, $400 dollars out of pocket was a total waste.

I believe my primary doctor recommended me to Dr. Cox, and if I'm remembering correctly Dr. Cox is the one who referred me to a great lawyer, which worked out really well. I only saw Dr. Dan (Cox) during the first initial appointment back in 2012 and have been seeing various other doctors since then. You can request who you'd like to see, I'm just not that kind of person, and quite honestly, I've had a great experience with each and every single doctor here. I've made the mistake in not continuing my treatment when I'm feeling "good," and now after seeing Dr. Franco and Dr. Tom there recently I'm understanding more and more the importance of my neck and back "maintenance". In my situation, this is something I'll have to live with forever, but as long as I keep up with my appointments (down to once a month currently) I won't really be in much pain. When I stopped going for 6+ months, I would be in severe pain and would have to go 2-3 times a week at first just to get on the right track again. They will recommend that you get X-rays done (of course depending on your situation) before doing anything, which I love. The ladies at the front desk are usually the most pleasant and friendly people I've ever seen at a doctors office. Not only do you not usually have to wait long at all (10 min max for me, but I usually walk right back when I get there) but if you need a last minute appointment they can usually get you in the day of! I keep telling myself I'm going to try a chiropractor a block from my house since Clarence / Williamsville is so far for me, and hard to fit in my schedule, but they are really that great and I just can't fathom going anywhere else!

The wait room is shared with the urgent care, orthopedics and a few other places, luckily they updated it so that they are kind of sectioned off, although it can sometimes be hard to tell how many people are before you when you come. Having experienced Quest before moving to this area, I do not like that you cannot make appointments. Luckily they do now show a wait time online, and I have been able to not have to wait on most of my visits, but a couple of them I had quite a long wait which is never fun. The people who have done the blood draws have all been pleasant, and for someone who does not like to get their blood drawn, they have all made it as easy and painless as possible. I definitely recommend checking the website for wait times, so far when I get there it has always matched what it says, to try to avoid a long wait if possible.
