Do Not Use! We had been using Michelle Douglas for years as our tax preparer/CPA when she was part…read moreof Charles Vonderhaar's office. That office was acquired by Block Advisors. When we went to drop our taxes off we were informed that by the Office Manager Michelle Johnston, that Michelle Douglas was no longer there but they would gladly take care of our taxes. I explained that we were working with the IRS on some penalties due to the sale of some properties and we needed them filed by 3/31/26 (giving them 6 weeks to get it done). She said no problem and reassured me that we were good. As the deadline approached, my wife and I reached out to check the status. Over a 3 week period we left a dozen voicemails and none were returned. We finally left one that demanded our taxes back so we could take them elsewhere as we were now past our deadline. That voicemail was returned by the receptionist (which means the others were heard as well) and told us we could come get our paperwork/taxes. We expressed our outrage that nothing has been done in 6 weeks and no message had been returned and there was no communication. The receptionist told me they are busy and we can't expect them to answer the calls or return messages. Just a shameful business. Will never use again and will never recommend them to any of our friends, family, and business network.
