Buyer Beware. Before letting them "clean and inspect" look your system over yourself, take a few pics maybe. That way you'll know exactly what they did to it to make it quit working. I wasn't so smart, and too trusting. They suggested i install a drain trap: even though their installers had already done so when the system was brand new just 7 years ago. Real problem was trap was dirty and it needed to cleaned when inspected. Shorter version "you need to replace your car because the ashtray is full, even though we were here to clean your ashtray. Also suggested surge suppressor (which is a good idea to protect the motor). Trouble was that the motor became overworked when someone propped open a cover in the airtight cabinet (a feature Trane and RSP brags about), this overworked the motor to failure but it took a few days.Also found some fresh wire insulation strippings from the high voltage wiring, so now i'm afraid of what's going to happen when i plug in the new motor ($1200 from RSP, $350 from an online supplier). If it blows up, i think i might too. In short, do not trust. They are capable of good work, they are also fully capable of screwing you out of money you may not have when their work gets slow. It's easy to be happy with their service if you know nothing about air conditioning except "it's not working", and if you have the money to throw away. So call them, write a BIG check and be happy. read more

Do not use this company!! I spent over 5000 last January on my air/heat pump and have had nothing but trouble. 3 service calls last year alone, first was an over flow valve that wasn't properly capped causing a leak that ruined my bathroom floor which they wanted no part in helping repair costs or taking any responsibility for, a call again for another leak from the same area, and a third call for a wire they forgot to hook up. This year I turn my air on and it didn't work, I call again to find out it's a 629 charge to have it fixed. I asked 3 times to speak with the owner, he would never call me back. The girl answering the phone is extremely rude, and the service calls were not returned for hours. I have had to hire another company to fix their mistake and I wish I had known this was going to be such a devastating experience. I feel like I was taken advantage of being a single mom knowing nothing about what they were doing expecting an honest company to replace my unit as promised. For the money I spent I just have a broken unit that I haven't even used 1 full summer. They seem to weasel out of everything instead of standing on their work. Their slogan should be "that's not out fault". I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Call pass 1 hour they seem to be better. read more

If you're looking for a great product, professional install, committed to follow-up, this company is for you. Supporting home-town companies are very important to my husband and me. After having one local company give a bid, we thought we would compare shop and are we glad we did. RSP gave us the most-thorough home eval, system needs, and did NOT try to sell us anything...gave multiple options pros/cons of each and zero pressure. Price wise, may be a tad higher but it is worth EVERY PENNY for the service, professionalism, hard working, and a 24/7/365 company who won't leave you in the cold! Not only are their sales & installers wonderful, Tabby(sp) the receptionist, is out-standing; ALWAYS cheerful, accommodating, and the perfect first person contact for a company. We could not have asked for a better experience after dealing with the headache of our home warranty company. We talked with Tabby several times and she was very helpful with everything she was able to do for us, within policy, dealing with our home warranty company. Andy initially came out to diagnose our system, Brandon came out multiple times to make sure everything was squared away for our installation, and Michael and Zane came out to tear out the old and install the new. We were very pleased with the proffesionalism of each of them and their geniune graciousness toward us during the back and forth with our warranty company. We would like to thank RSP Heating and Cooling for the fantastic job that Corey and Jake did today when they placed vapor barrier and then spray foam encapsulated our crawl space under our Mobile Home. They also replaced the crossover heating and cooling duct work with Harp Pipe Crossover Duct Work. Corey and Jake were both professional and courteous at all times. Corey would come in and advise us if there was any problems or where they were at in their installation. From the time that Cory Fuqua was here on February 20 to look under the house and give us a quote, to the phone calls from the office staff, to the installation today, their company has been nothing but professional. Each time theses guy come to work on my stuff or where I worked they had to order parts. I could have ordered parts from china and got then here faster than it took them to get them here. Called a different service and they went to a supply store and had them that day. They were not friendly or helpful at all. It's almost 90 degrees where am working and it's miserable. The units are standard very common units thst parts are very easy to get. Didn't even mention to us to try to over night them to get the job done, no follow up to tell is they will be here when or when the parts might show up. Very disappointed in a local business, I would understand if they were a franchise not caring as much. If you do call them,call another local hvac co. and get 2 estimates might save you a week of hell. read more

Had my second (included) unit review since I purchased my new system last July 1st. Couldn't be happier from the pre-installation inspection to review what unit would serve me best (thanks Lisa) to the installation (thanks Mike and Arlen) to my questions in between installation and first unit check (thanks Tabby). My latest unit check was wit Charles Pritchett who was so efficient. Couldn't have had better service. Personable and informative just to list a few qualities!! RSP is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with and I'm so happy with my service. Last week I contacted RSP for an issue with my furnace and humidifier. Everyone I spoke to on the phone from their office was friendly and helpful. A technician was dispatched to my home that afternoon. He was courteous and respectful of my home and wore shoe covers to protect my carpet. He diagnosed the issue with the furnace right away and by the next day I had a brand new humidifier installed. He was able to trace the warranty coverage on the humidifier so my out of pocket expense was kept at a minimum. Great company across the board. The recently​ helped us put a brand new system into one of our rental properties​. We were beyond suprised when our tenant went out of their way to tell us not only what a great job they did but how wonderful the tech was to work with.
