My daughter told me that DelightMore was very easy to work with before the event. We had the wedding on Friday evening 9/29/2024 at Ault Park during the height of hurricane Helene. Before the wedding could start, we moved to plan D and moved the guest tables to the two side rooms in the pavilion because the wind and rain was drenching the normal seating area in the center area. Also, we were in candlelight because the power was knocked out due to the storm. DelightMore made the best of it and more. They adapted their plan to make it all work in spite of the challenge. Karen and Jarad were on-site working to make it all work. They changed staff responsibilities because some of their staff was unable to make it to the park due to the storm. Jarad came to talk to me before the meal was served to tell me their plan of serving one room at a time and that our room's meal would be delayed but they would do the best they could. We then got our bread and salads within a few minutes of us sitting down. The main course may have been delayed a few minutes longer than they hoped for us, but it wasn't very delayed. The meal was still delicious and freshly made on site using generators they brought to the event. The staff was kind and worked through all of the changes and the tightly packed room setting. Jarad followed up after the meal was served to make sure everything worked out ok. DelightMore exceeded my expectations by their execution and concern for the customer. I can't thank DelightMore enough and would recommend them to anyone planning an event, especially during a natural disaster.

The first tasting was rescheduled by the company. The second tasting was rescheduled by the company due to sickness and we were understanding again. They provided seafood stuffed mushrooms caps that were literally swimming in liquid and along with being quite soggy (which is not appetizing at all) the "seafood" was the fake seafood stuff mixed with Italian bread crumbs. The appetizer they provided consisted of a pineapple cut in half and shish-kabob skewers that had 1+" hunks of ham (they were not consistent in size and I think it was a lunch meat type boiled ham) along with raw red onion chunks, cherry tomatoes, some nondescript white cheese - either mozzarella or Swiss cheese, 2-3 slices of pepperoni (folded together), and a pepperoncini. These skewers were then stuck into one of two pineapple half's (think porcupine) and there were maraschino cherries included on these skewers as well. As you might imagine the stuffed mushrooms and appetizer item provided leftovers in significant quantity. On the other hand "stuffed potatoes" were well seasoned and were really the only palatable item Golden Rule Catering provided. I have to say that I will never recommend this catering company to anyone. Buyer beware!!!!

I worked with Natalie after that and she went above and beyond. She was there for every question and concern I had. From helping me with communication on road closures and traffic with Pride falling at the same time and day as my event, to setting up and breaking down, she was there. The Garden Room came with the patio and it was the perfect place to bring together my vision of a summer garden party. We had the perfect amount of food from their brunch options and add ons and it was delicious! We also still had the inside room to keep the food and utilize before we went outside for the brunch. I'm not sure what the capacity is but if definitely felt like if accommodated a decent number of people without cramping us together. The floor was perfect for dancing and the bars were easily accessible. The catering quality was good. We had three different types of sliders (pulled pork, ham and cheese, and veggie) all were good. They had an excellent selection of cheeses and the desserts were petite and fantastic (perfect size for trying a few). The Mac and Cheese was good but maybe a bit garlicky. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The service was friendly and efficient. This event center is definitely worth a look!
