This place is absolutely fantastic. The staff, owners, instructors are all first-class. The equipment is top-notch and reasonably priced compared to online distributors. They have a variety of ongoing advanced classes AND amazing dive trips all around the world that I can't wait to join. This weekend I finished up a 10+ year goal of taking the open water diving certification and I couldn't have picked a better location. I bought a remarkably priced package they offer combining the course and equipment (fins, boots, snorkel, and mask). They also rent out gear for dive trips so you can have what you need without having to buy and dive with equipment you're familiar with. The pool for your class is huge. 1-2 lanes are about 10' deep and about 15 lanes are 4' deep. The instructors will start out in the 4' deep lanes and go over basics underwater so you're super comfortable. Then you'll have ample time in the 10' end so your confidence is built. It's shared with "Swim Atlanta" and conveniently located on the backside with their own shop connected to the large pool area. They are SSI and compatible with thousands of dive shops around the world. They can do "referrals" for your 4 checkout dives through another shop (you'll have to pay the other shop for the dives but you won't have to take the classroom, exam, and pool diving skills) OR you can preferably do your checkout dives with Dive Dive Dive on one of their trips. I have patronized several local dive shops in the area, but I keep coming back to this one. I learned to dive here, and I have sent several friends and family members here for their training as well. They provide excellent instruction and training, free advice, full service (maintenance and repair) for your gear, and lead dive trips to fantastic places all over the world. They try to offer trips that fit almost any budget, so you can still enjoy great diving even if you can't afford a two-week trip to the Great Barrier Reef. The equipment they rent and sell is top-notch and after more than 200 dives, my gear still works perfectly and is in great shape thanks to good quality products and attentive service. They have access to an Olympic-sized pool on the premises, and offer basic as well as advanced and technical training courses, including rescue, Nitrox and tri-mix decompression diving and rebreathers. Most importantly, the instructors are skilled, knowledgeable and patient. My son and my regular dive buddy both were certified by Dive, Dive, Dive - and they are both excellent divers. I signed my fiance up for lessons so she could join me in diving. According to her the instructors are friendly and easy to get along with. Kudos in that department. However be weary of their hidden costs that they will get you with if you choose to do your open water dive else where. They unexpectedly charged us ANOTHER $100 bucks for a referral where as most shops give you this for free. The only downside to diving with them vs. going and finding your own dive site and company is that their charges are pretty high and over priced especially for springs trips. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for the trips as well as buying your gear. There are other dive shops around that have much lower priced gear of the same make and quality. Instructors were OK...everything else was sub par. Just be careful and don't get screwed by their hidden charges! read more

I've been a diver for years, originally certified OWD and Advance back in 2002 under PADI. Life happened....marriage, kids etc. My diving hobby kinda took a back seat to what I needed to be doing. Fast forward to 2017. My son was now 11 and wanted to get his junior certification. It being so long since I had been diving, I decided to not just take the refresher course, but go through the entire thing again with my son and get certified under SSI. The course material was excellent. I love the online way it's done on the self study side. Once done with the pool and class work, it was off to Blue Grotto for our check outs. John Addy led that trip. He was nothing short of very awesome. Two years later my daughter wanted to do it. She's completed her pool sessions and class with Trace Blackmore, another guy that was nothing short of awesome. I could tell he loves diving, is passionate about it, and is a great instructor. My girl loved him. The class schedule went a little sideways at first. Originally it was going to be the weekday 3 week course. Mistakes happen sometimes. Lee, the owner, made it right though. He let her do the weekend executive course at no extra charge. The store itself is really nice. I always feel welcome when I walk in. Most times I can only get there on weekends. Mike and Jackie are like permanent fixtures there. Mike with the stories and jokes, and Jackie just being the sweet lady she is. They are always helpful. I read a couple of the bad reviews about D3, and I can only say this. Diving isn't something you just do. It's a part of a way of life. A person needs to find a shop and connect. Getting to know the staff and becoming a part of that family is all important. Now that my daughter is about to do her checkouts, my intention is that D3 will see us cross their threshold even more often. read more

Everybody is very friendly and have been diving for years! It almost has a mom and pop feel to the business. They are very knowledgeable and are willing to work with you if something comes up. I did my classes with Judd and he was just awesome! So was his daughter that helped. Everybody makes you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend taking courses with them! Also once you complete the course and before you take your check out dive you are able to use the pool and equipment to practice! It's free if you practice with a buddy that took the courses too or for a small fee you can ask an instructor to practice with you. They also have monthly trips you can join! read more

I could not have been more pleased with my entire experience from the time I first walked in the shop back in May to recently getting my OWD certification. I must have had over a hundred questions over the last few months being completely new to the sport and the instructors and the shop answered them all. I felt like my safety was always their number one priority. I'm really looking forward to the opportunities this new adventure will present.
