Their card machine totally ripped me off of $3. I had never been here before so I had to buy a new card. My only choice was to put $5 on my supposedly brand new card. So I thought I can just add more money once I get a new card. When the new card came out, I immediately put it back in to add more money to it but the card reader said the balance on the card was only $2! I thought it was a mistake so I went ahead and added $10 more. When that transaction ended, the card reader said my new balance was $12! I have the credit card receipts from both transactions and I should've gotten $15 but the place decided to cheat me off of $3. I couldn't tell who worked there as they were busy, so I couldn't get my money back and leave. Will never come back here. On top of being robbed, the place was messy, their parking lot was tiny and their machines are expensive. read more

This place is HUGE!!!! The prices are excellent and the facility is clean. The machines ALL work and the vending machines are great. There are lots of snack options and there's even a coffee/cappuccino vending machine. These are essential for a 24/7 Laundromat. However, the Bathroom is Horribly Dirty!!!! Excellent size and well guarded, you can only access it with the washing card, but how it is left SO dirty is Beyond Me. This is a Situation that NEEDS attention. Other than that, I will Definitely be BACK......just WON'T Use the bathroom, I'll pee at home. read more

This place is horrible. More expensive than most laundromats and the dryers do not get hot enough. Dried my clothes for an hour and they were not dry enough. Will have to look for another one because I will not be back. read more

We had an emergency situation late one night: our washer stopped working, leaving me with a giant load of soaking wet clothes and towels. The only place in the vicinity that didn't close at 10PM was Rub A Dub so we hauled the waterlogged load there to rewash and spin. The place was clean, bright and busy even that late, and we got the clothes washed again (and spun dry enough to take home to our dryer) in under 30 minutes. It wasn't cheap but for a woman who loathes laundromats, it was a surprisingly positive experience. read more

3.5 Sometimes this place is great, sometimes I'm really wishing I had my own laundry machine at home. When it's great: it's very clean, they have discounts Tuesdays-Thursdays, and it's open 24 hours!! When it's not great: it's very dirty, stuff all over the floor, machines broken, too crowded. read more

I happen to stumble upon this place cause I was at my boyfriend's job and he told me to do my laundry up here..20 pound washer. Works so-so, mostly all soap gets incorporated. Whereas the 40 pound washer used the prewash soap but a lot of the soap was left in the main wash container. I walked in thinking this was a coin-op place but apparently not, so I had to buy one of their cards which was a pain. I think I'd stick to Jumbo Wash in Garwood that's by me. read more

place is great, don't know how laundry works? you buy a card, costs 5 bucks then you refill it in 10/2030 increments cash or credit, they even have machines to change a 10 for 2 fives. choose your wash depending on size 20lb/40lb etc (don't worry if you choose a big one, it's done by weight) washers are blue and in the middle of the place, each W/D has a unique name. (so you can remember you got washed by miguel) then dry your laundry in the drys on the sides. here's some savings info: 25% off on washers and 15% off on dryers 12AM-6PM Tue-Wed-Thu. Free WiFi. free wifi so browse away. btw ACME foods is right next door, they even have a "cut out" in the fence so you can walk over to ACME and do some food shopping. of course if you're gonna do some food shopping, don't buy cold/frozen food so early, or you can bring a long a cooler, that would work too. ACME closes at 12am btw rub a dub is 24/7 they also have a bathroom that card key activated. really not much more. can get super crowded on the weekends, but i mean come on, expect that, also you'll still have machines, there's like 40 of em. oh and btw i don't use liquid or powered detergent, i use the easy packets, it's a lot easier to use these and to transport too, no annoying drippy bottle to deal with. i just put like 4 and 4 sheets of fabric softener in a rubbermaid. read more

I had a good experience there! Plenty of machines available and the soap boxes were clean. I think people confuse when to put the soap in - I do it before machine starts and then all the detergent is flushed out nicely! I like the discounts and 24 hour service! read more

Top rating because of excellent manager Jon who has a polish name and good accent. Full disclosure, this is my first Yelp review and I almost never use a "coin" laundry. However I'm ten days into a car camping vacation and need clean clothes for a dance weekend I'm going to. When I drove away from home, the ten day weather forecast was for no less than 75 degrees at night. Suddenly the heatwave of 2016 is over and it is too cold at night for the light blanket I packed. So I was going to go to a thrift shop to pick something up. Jon was so engaging that I had the bright idea to ask about abandoned blankets. Huge choice as it turned out. No only did I save ten or twenty bucks over a thrift shop, but I knew it was clean! Now perhaps you are wondering why I was talking to the manager? They use a proprietary chipped card to pay the machines. Great for locals but a bit user unfriendly for one time users. The card costs $5 of which $3 is a deposit for the card. Then you have to load more credit because a single small load costs more than $2. Perhaps easier with cash than credit but either way you have to wonder about overpaying for a load of laundry. In my case, I would be overpaying by $8. A local customer helped me some with the system and assured me the manager would be there later to refund the card deposit and any outstanding balance. They had a refund envelope as well to use for the 15 hours or so that no manager is present. They will actually mail a check refund. I hope this review helps other one time users but I never would have thought of looking at Yelp reviews for local self serve laundries! I gave the manager some tips for better sign instructions to help new users - he asked me which is a good sign as well. And oh yes, wifi for road warriors! read more

I am not from the area and was at a hotel and had to wash the team's t-shirts and sweatshirts in really hot water to shrink them. I liked that I could choose hot water but wondered if other laundromats charge you more to wash with hot water like this place. I liked that there were plenty of open washers and dryers even during busy time on the weekend but the insides of the machines seemed old and dirty but the clothes came out nice and shrunk. I was a little annoyed I had to buy a card and pay a deposit and wait for them to mail me back my $3. When I bought the card for $5, I could use my credit card but then to add money, it required a separate transaction and I had to add a minimum of $10 if I used my card and had to pay cash to add less. read more

I used to like this place and have been coming for almost 3 years but over the past few months I've had several issues with my clothes getting stuck in the washers. They lock while going through a cycle and only unlock when complete. There is no override that the user can do to stop a cycle (in the event bleach or some other unwanted substance is put into the dispenser). It will make you go though the cycle again. That means waiting for another 30+ mins AND putting more money into the machine. Forget about getting anyone to help you that's actually running the place. I've never seen anyone at the facility and they NEVER answer the phone. Time for me to find a new laundry place. Use this place at your clothe's own risk. read more
