Highway robbery. Charged me $40 for a medium tablecloth that I needed two days later. I have paid 18.95 at my local organic cleaner in Wayne. High tech ? Does not accept credit cards probably to avoid paying taxes. I should have run out the door when he started boasting about the expensive shirts he cleans and how he went to DC school in Manhattan. Stay away from this unscrupulous business! Picked up my tablecloth and complained about the price... He starts telling me how other dry cleaners only press one side, shows me a receipt for someone else's dress shirts and says these are from mendham. I got all your stains out. Oh so you mean you did your job? Really??? I told him I don't care you are over charging me and I will not be back. Magically I get a $10 discount! Still over priced. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend Hi-tech cleaners in Morris plains! I just got my bridesmaid dress hemmed there and they charge $80 to hem a freakin dress. They didn't do anything else but remove 1-2 inches of fabric from the bottom. Not to mention the owner is annoying as hell, telling me about all of his customers and how great their shop is. He must of gotten me on a bad day because I told him I didn't care. Sorry but $80 is highway robbery to have a dress hemmed. I've never paid more than $30 to have something altered. I went here after seeing the other rave reviews and regretted it. I wanted to like this place. Again, everyone else says it's great. Even when I began to notice issues I continued to go in the hopes that it was a fluke. The owner was certainly friendly and more than happy to show off how many expensive shirts and suits he was entrusted to clean. And perhaps his "dry cleaning" is indeed stellar. Unfortunately, his dress shirt laundering and ironing service is terrible. After bringing my shirts there a couple times, I began to notice broken and cracked buttons. I realize this happens over time with repeated washing, but some of these shirts were nearly new - literally only ever cleaned by this dry cleaner maybe three times tops. Other dry cleaners I've been to replaced buttons that broke, even if they didn't mention it to me. I would even have been more forgiving if the owner had at least SAID something - some of the broken buttons were the top buttons (which he delivers fastened) so it's impossible for him to have no noticed. But I only ever discovered the broken buttons at 7 AM when I'm bleary-eyed and trying to get dressed for work. To add insult to injury, just this morning I went to put on a shirt I've only worn once and found a prominent stain on the front. Now, I can't swear I didn't give it to him with the stain, but I'm nearly positive it was not there when I brought it in. I'm pretty good about noticing spots on my shirts when they happen and stain-treating them. To sum up, I have stopped going here. Again, maybe he's fantastic at cleaning other items, but as a shirt launderer, this place is terrible. read more

Excellent service and quality of work. The owners husband and wife are amazing and very friendly. Husband was trained in Japan and claims that he dry cleans suits or anything expensive by hand (not the usual pressers/machines used at other dry cleaners). And this is true as my suits and dresses are softer in quality after dry cleaning with no creases! And it's true -- people from out of town come here to get their clothes dry cleaned. My boyfriend and I come from NYC and Buffalo and we will def come here for dry cleaning whenever we're in the area! read more

It's not that difficult to find a dry cleaner in Morris County, but it's impossible to find an owner like this one. This man brings over 45 years of dry cleaning experience to the table. His quality of work is priceless and to top that, his prices are very reasonable (cash only). On another note, he is one of the most friendliest individuals I have ever met. Every time I walk into his store I am greeted with a smile and, he truly appreciates everyone's business. (He also promised to teach me 1 Japanese word each time I come into the store) read more

I needed a shirt and pants done quick and he put down everything to do them that minute so that I would have it done right and on time. Strongly reccommend against going here. The owners are very arrogant. I picked up a large cleaning order and had to hear the owner go on and on about all the "rich" people who get their clothes cleaned. He even went so far as to quote local executives by name and their companies: Novartis, Tiffany, Kraft (which for privacy reasons I will not advertise the executives by name). The male owner also said that they were the "best drycleaners in the whole state of NJ". It was very annoying and rude because it went on and on, and was completely unsolicited by myself. (I just wanted to pay for my order and leave). At that time I dropped off another pair of pants for cleaning and repair since I had them with me. When I picked up those pants, I had to drive all the way home before I realized that they were unable to fix a stain completely, eventhough they charged me full price. I went back the same day to inquire about it, and they were very unaccommodating. The woman actually said, "well we can't check everything that closely", and she would not return my money eventhough I asked. The company's response was a strong display of "bad-faith" customer service. I myself am an executive and highly reccommend that people take their dry cleaning elsewhere...as I will never go back as a result of such sneakyness and outright deceit to their customers. read more
