The massage was mediocre at best. The therapist kept leaving the room without saying anything. When finished she said "okay" and rapidly left. Very odd experience. As I left she was standing next to receptionist. I said thank you and she blurted out, "what? No tip"? I told her I had left her tip in the room... which was way too much for the service I received. I returned here after three weeks on the road. They are just as good as ever, with very competitive prices. It makes good bone and muscle care affordable. I also like the hours, 10 AM to 10 PM. I'm never out past 8 or so but quite a few people who work later that I do might appreciate these hours. read more

BEWARE!!! I had my credit card information stolen at this establishment. I had recently been having trouble with my debit card; the magnetic strip suddenly stopped working. It was too difficult to get the man behind the counter to understand that he would need to key the card information manually. So, to simplify matters, I simply handed over my emergency credit card. In the last three to five years I have only use that credit card three times. Once in the emergency room, once to buy last minute airline tickets, and then this recent purchase at the massage parlor. Within a week I received a call from my credit card company's fraud department asking about suspicious online charges. I have used this location for massage many, many times (on average about three times per month). I have never had any trouble using my debit card there before, but this was the first time that I had used a credit card. I can't tell you how disappointed I am! I have always truly enjoyed my services there, and intended to be a long time customer. I have always tipped them VERY generously, and I have even recommended their services to friends. I will never set toe in this place again! I am absolutely furious that someone in this shop would have the gall to steal from anyone, least of all one of their best customers! The thing that makes me even more angry regarding this situation?! I had accidentally walked out of the shop on this date with their hair clip still in my hair. When I got home, I realized that the clip was left in my hair by mistake. So what do I do?! I went out of my way, and I drove clear across town to return their stupid hairclip to them! I am honest to a fault I guess, and I would never keep anything that didn't belong to me. I believe to my core that a thief is the lowest of the low. The poorest display of character. Yet, they STEAL from me!?!?!? HOW DARE YOU!!!!! I'm not sure if the owner/operator is aware of the theft, or if perhaps an employee placed a skimmer device in their credit card machine without their knowledge. However, I am absolutely convinced that SOMEONE in this shop is directly responsible. I hope the fraud department tracks down the person/people responsible for this blatant theft and persecutes to the full extent of the law! I plan to fully cooperate. Whoever you are, I hope you go to jail you dirty rotten crook! I hope I see you in court. read more

Best massage in town! Even better...no appointment necessary and the massage is very economical to be able to reward yourself with, on a regular basis. I have had two therapists this far and both were delightful. Let me put your cultural fears to rest...there is no funny business here. Lovely experience! While visiting Lubbock, I stopped in at Angel's for the 1-hour foot massage. I was greeted warmly and welcomed even though I did not have an appointment. I was taken to a "foot bed" where I got an excellent shoulder and neck rub while my feet soaked I the warm water. The tiny attendant asked several times is the pressure was ok and responded with an adorable "sank you" each time I responded. The pressure was excellent, the foot massage was wonderful, but the back and shoulder rub was the best part. She managed to work out a kink in both my scapula and my ham string that really made this great for me. The building is very clean , the music is at an appropriate and soothing level and I really felt like a special customer. I will be recommending this to my mom and I don't do that lightly!! $42 plus a 20% tip was a worth it! read more

Hands down one of the best massages I have ever had, and it was only for 20 minutes, but holy cow, that was good. Visiting from Dallas, I have a favorite location at home which I frequent, so was really a bit unsure about an uncharted business - three therapists present were polite and interior was Asian spa like and expected. I had 30 min body and 30 min reflexology for 48- in Dallas 70 mins costs 30 and then you tip as you'd like, but after calling around it seems about 42-45 is the going rate in Lubbock- not sure my male younger therapist spoke much English - I pointed out a shoulder blade knot before beginning and during the curtained private body massage I repeatedly requested - slower, deeper, right there please and he just didn't get it- (I also would have hoped he'd be more cognizant of my arms hanging off the table as he leaned in so I could relax more and not worry about THAT little issue) I then dressed and moved to the open beds for the reflexology which was more his expertise. Pressure and technique good but not the best I've had. I'm pretty particular and have been around the block quite a few times... I did feel better as I left but still woke up with the knot in my back:/ Stick to the reflexology is my lesson learned and go to your chiropractor and massage therapist for massage. read more
