He stands up every week proclaiming to be a "true believer", but does not act like a follower of Christ! I feel like he literally stole from me! Anyway, December of 2021, I hired this company to replace my kitchen linoleum with tile. His contract said he wanted 70 or 75% up front. I don't really believe in paying anything up front for the labor part of services like this bc you know where I live.. anyway, I agreed to 50% up front and the rest at completion of the job! He told me it would take him about a week to do. I asked if he was sure he could handle a job that size and he said yea. It took him 2 weeks, and almost every morning I had to point out issues with things that looked bad from the day before. He cut my door frames way too short before even seeing where the tile would fall. He installed the mortar and tile directly onto the luan with no backer. I bought spacers that he asked for and he did not use them. When he was done...I did not have a straight grout line anywhere. The floor was not level, tiles not straight, door frames ruined, etc. In fact, he got to the last tile and saw how big the space was going to be and told me that "the room isn't square"! I said no, you have not been meticulous.. you just eyeballed each tile placement and all of those inconsistencies caught up. The job was so bad that I could not pay the last half. I felt bad but I simply couldn't! It was that bad! He went on a sabbatical immediately after and I told him that we needed to speak when he returned, but he never reached out.. Not only did it look bad, but it has not held up. I had a few tiles come loose within a few months and crack. I spoke to him over the summer and he acknowledged that he knew he did not do a good job! I told him that I was disappointed that I gave him any money. I wanted the money I gave back as well as money for the materials I bought bc the floor was going to be redone. Again, not only did it look bad, but tiles started popping up and breaking not even 6 months after install. I waited to see if he would do the right thing. He never offered me any resolution. In December, I reached out to let him know again that I felt that he owed me money. He never responded to my texts or my calls. I have been trying to reach him since December 2022 and he will not respond. I just got the floor redone by another company and it took only 3 days. And it's amazingly well done!!! Again, as christians, we should be able to reason.. but Mr Ed is not allowing that. I have every intention of holding him accountable though.

Please don't trust him to complete work on your home. i am livid that i was taken advantage of. The deck he constructed is poorly built and can not be repaired. It has to be rebuilt. If i could rate him less than zero I would. He has pictures on his website of my deck as if he did a great job. the person completing the inspection for sale described the deck as subpara and not up to code. Ive had two license contractors look at the work. they both said it would need to be torn diwn and rebuilt. He said he was a licensed contractor which i hope is not true with the quality of work He provides.

I asked repeatedly if there is any additional cost and the technician never have me a straight answer. When the bill came it was a huge shock and took months to resolve.
