I designed and ordered components for living room built-ins online, but once they arrived, my usual contractor said he wouldn't be able to support the job anymore. I'm so thankful I found Roberto to support the project instead. He was incredibly responsive, quick to start and finish, and checked in extensively along the way to ensure my vision and preferences were taken into account. This was not an easy project, but he and his team made the best of all the challenges we met. At one point we realized the wrong replacement cabinet had been shipped to me. A new one was going to take 2-3 weeks!! Instead of pushing off the job to a later date he suggested solutions and retrofitted the replacement cabinet flawlessly to ensure we could finish the job the same week he started. He started Monday and finished Wednesday ahead of his original projection of Friday!! If you bring a designer he works well with them too. Frank knows his wood, has a good feel for color and the vibe of the project, and will accommodate different budgets and use cases. Surprisingly, cane handles are often permanent and changing them requires cutting off the old one. I needed this cane made for my cousin's wedding, so it needed to be done professionally and look good. I contacted Kevin and he was glad to look at my project. He originally estimated up to 2 weeks to do it, which would have been fine, but I was surprised when he called the very next day to tell me it was done! It's beautiful, as you can see in the photos. The work cost more than the cane itself (not surprising), but this is custom work and nobody else in the Bay Area seems to do work like this.
