Honestly, at first they make you think they are all in 100%, but when you start handling your own case for them, because of laziness, that's when it all goes down hill. To prove my attorney was lying, I went to hospital billing and called from there, shady Rubenstein Law lied to me and said they spoke to billing a week prior. After having them on speaker phone, the billing lady at hospital called my lawyer out, and said you haven't spoke to us in 4 months, the week they took my case. I honestly was so happy, because it was solid proof they take your case and make you think work is getting done and they haven't even investigated anything. When Rubenstein finally returns your phone call weeks later, the hospital said, "his bill is not what you got 4 months ago, it changed." If they really "investigated" then my case would have gotten done so fast because the leg work your paying for isn't really happening, and their favorite word "Negotiating" is how they keep you hanging on. Rubenstein Law held on to my check for another 3 months still not finding out how to pay my leins. So I dropped them and handled the insurance company myself, because my credit was going down the toilet cause they didn't make one phone call since the first few weeks from date of hiring them. If you want to feel like someone is actually doing work or "negotiating" there actually blowing you off, definitely find a different law firm than Rubenstein Law. They really suck, and only care about their big cases, not the smaller ones. Extremely predjudice organization, and you will definitely be doing all the leg work for them. It's really sad that I had more lies than results, especially when my case was a slam dunk for them, from all the injuries I obtained from accident, missing work from being in pain, and you can't even get them on the phone. You will never hear from your attorney, only the "HELP" is supposed to be working your case, but it's a scam. If you have a case pending with them now, do a little investigating on your end on something they told you, you will see the last response you obtained from them was a lie to make you think your case is is action, when it's on the back burner. If I worked there, my return emails or calls would be honest, telling the client, "look we have to many cases to handle and only the big money cases come first and yours will be last in that particular order. The truth is better than lying, just a little advice to Rubenstein Law. At least I could have found a different attorney if they had told me the truth. It's a shame that the CEO has no clue how horrible things really are operating. read more

I've waited a long time to write this review because I was too angry at the end of my case. Very little information, only saw the lawyer once and talked to her twice. Assistant called once a month and asked if I had any questions but if I did he had no answers. Except at the end when he gave me bad information which caused me to settle my case. Similar situation happened with my case with Rubenstein Law, and it was procrastinated until I called so often that I assume they just got tired of dealing with a client who actually expected the firm to work and get things done . I understand that legal matters take time but not like this . Lawyers offices should be checking in regularly or at least every few weeks with results and status of the case. His company is a ripoff, after close to a year with my mother's case, running up a $57,000 bill, he hands off the case to another attorney and did not even have the decency to contact us to tell us what they were doing. In the years I have been driving, I have never been involved in a car accident before and I was completely lost in what to do and how to handle everything. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! My girlfriend was rear-ended, has 4% permanent damage to her body, and 21k in therapy/medical bills which they TOLD her to keep going! They claim that Geico is only giving back 1k so they are dropping the case! In 2018, I contacted this Law Office because I was the victim of medical malpractice. Although my case was perfectly documented, they rejected it stating they had other major cases, etc. This year, I had a minor car collision in which nobody got injured, but, two weeks later I got a letter from my insurance reporting that the people involved were claiming "severe injuries"... I am amazed to see how these lawyers were able to defend this case with no hard evidence, but rejected my case which included the video of the operation, etc. The worst, how can an attorney use an MRI as an evidence? An MRI can show old damage or malformations of the spine, but it can not determine that such injures occurred in a particular accident. So sad, I had a different opinion of this Firm, but not now, I cannot recommend it. It seems they can defend people that is willing to take advantage of decent drivers with a good car insurance. While driving my Mazda 3 I was struck in the rear bumper by a large Buick causing my head to jerk forward and back throwing my glasses off my face and for some reason causing my sunroof to open on its own. There was not much visible damage to my vehicle except for some separation of the right rear fender. I worked for an insurance company for years and never thought I would pursue a whiplash claim but my neck is still stiff and sore after several weeks so that I can barely turn it and I'm experiencing numbness and tingling in both hands. Additionally, I had fallen in April striking my head and in May while on vacation had gotten picked up by a wave and slammed on my head again I was concerned about possible head injury. You can't listen to any media for 5 minutes with hearing that pompous blowhard Robert Rubinstein espousing his brilliance in head injury cases. I said why not contact the sleazebag ambulance chasing firm to help me navigate this (wow he just came on the radio).Anyway, they wanted pictures of my car and 5 minutes later they said the case did not meet their criteria! These people are terrible. Read everything you sign! I was hurt pretty badly in a car accident and went to the hospital and needed surgery. It was was the other drivers fault. I was speaking to attorney Rebecca Whitt and I specifically asked if she would be handling my case and actually said, "I don't want to speak to one person and then get another for my case." I also asked her if there were any reason that she couldnt devote herself fully to my case...She assured me that wouldn't happen. To make a long story short that's exactly what did happen, about 2 weeks later when I call I get her paralegal saying "Rebecca is on maternity leave and xyz attorney will be handling her cases." What? I almost blew a gasket, here I am hurt and this attorney is lying to me on purpose knowing full well she's about to go on maternity leave and couldn't start my case let alone complete it. I then said that I would be seeking another attorney to which her paralegal threatened to charge me a percentage for leaving Rubenstein...I left anyway. read more

I won't get into the specifics of the case; however, I will explain how they work. First they assigned me to three different attorneys who requested all medical records from doctors, physical therapists, two hospitals and 3 rehab centers. They then sent a demand letter and negotiated a settlement, this entire process took 1 to 2 years. When they could not reach a settlement they dropped the case. By that time, it was past the statute of limitations. They refused to bring the claim to court. Now about me: I am a 75-year real estate salesman unable to work due to injuries incurred from the incident. Rubenstein Law is all about fast money and no risk. Even though I agreed to pay the higher percentage if the case went to court, they refused because they believed the risk to reward factor was not in their favor. We signed a contract and only one of us honored it. If I were younger and had more capital, I would fight this obscene act of injustice. read more

I was in a car accident driving home january of this year ,where i was rear ended by a college student. I was in my frist trimester of pregnancy. I ended up losing the child due to a miscarriage after the trama of the accident.I then contacted this law office. In the initial visit to my home there representive was very polite collected my hospital paperwork etc. From that day on I had to deal with the women in the office. They refered to me a physical therapy after three weeks of treating the law office calls me to inform me that the party that reared ended my car does not have bodily injury coverage and i would have to go through my own insurance. The representatives then would call me and tell me that they needed me to provide them with all my hosipital bills and that they recommended me to continue to receive treatment. After six months not one hospital has been contacts or payed . Everytime I spoke to someone they would get very snappy. Telling me how they dont care. I mailed a letter of personal documents to there office. There now stating they havent receive none of my personal documents. Telling me it probably in miami. As im trying to communicate with her. She talking over me telling me repeatedly "I didnt find your letter." After six months of going back and forth and dealing with people in the office being very inconsiderate of my situation. They called me and stated they no longer wanted to represent me. The worst part is throughout these six months I have not spoke to not one REAL lawyer in that office.
