She made the experience informative and participatory for him - she engaged him in the process (doing a "science experiment") in a perfectly age-appropriate way. I've never seen a kid so delighted to be diagnosed with strep! Later that day, when I was having trouble at the pharmacy, the receptionist kindly offered to stay on the phone with me until our issue was resolved. I kept her on speaker for about ten minutes! Dr. Gidwani and her staff has consistently taken good care of my two children from infancy through the tweens. She is always responsive to questions, and it's easy to communicate with the office. She is knowledgeable, comforting, warm, approachable and no airs about being an immensely successful and popular pediatrician. She gives us her time when she sees us, has seen her fair share of babies, toddlers and concerned and worried parents and knows exactly how to handle every situation with ease. She is also fantastic in a crisis. She is never too hard to get on the phone, after hours or during a busy day. Overall, as a first time mother, I cannot recommend her enough. Coming to this new office made me realize my children deserved better care! From the front desk to the back office I have never experienced such great service. The office has filled out camp forms hassle free in a surprisingly timely fashion. We needed a prescription sent to the pharmacy in a crunch as my daughter was leaving to camp the next day and it was done with no trouble at all. It takes two minutes to send in to the pharmacy so my daughter has to sit here in pain all the way until 1 PM when they're good and ready to send it which is ridiculous. It takes two minutes to do my daughter was literally screaming on the top of her lungs when I'm on the phone with them and they're still telling me you have to wait till 1 o'clock any other doctors office would've took the two minutes out of their day and just sent the script in not this place they are not family oriented. It's very commercial. I feel like they don't care about my child and I am taking my child out of this doctors office because they are very neglectful because if you've seen the fluid in her ear yesterday, why not send the antibiotics and no they're gonna wait until it gets worse and she's an excruciating pain and then I have to wait until the doctor is good and ready to send it in. Once I had my baby, it is Chinese tradition to stay home for a month to recover. Since I was not able to be there with my baby during the first checkup, my husband facetimed me with Dr Yang during the whole appointment. As first time parents, we have so many questions. I have had three visits here with one of my kids with-in several weeks and the first was with-in a few minutes of the scheduled time but the second which was only for a vaccination we did have to wait for a 1/2 hour and they did not seem that busy, but the doctor was very polite. I learned a long time ago that doctors are the least punctual of the professions, I guess they don't teach "time management" in Med School. Third visit was right on time. The office is very nice and has a relaxed and inviting vibe and from what I have seen they treat everyone very well, and they treat the kids super well.

I have 2 girls and felt it was important that they have a female doctor. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against male doctors. The doctors in this practice are proactive when it comes to your child's health. They make sure that my children are current with all their shots. They are thorough when they give them their annual check-ups. They refer your children to other doctors who are good and accept your insurance plan. Since there are (4) four doctors in the practice you will have no problem getting your child seen for a sick visit or any emergency for that matter. Anytime one of my children became ill be it a stomach virus etc... I never had a problem getting a doctor on the telephone after hours. Getting those summer camp forms are never a problem either. You and your child get treated with respect and the doctors actually will play and joke around with the kids. I believe that in order to be a pediatric doctor you must want and love to work with children. The doctors here show it in the way that they will treat you and your children. They lose one star because in the past I had some issues with their front desk. I think they were going through some staff issues at one time but that has since been resolved. I deal directly with the Office Manager who is professional and sweet. You will not regret bringing your child to this Practice.
