The clothing and jewelry are absolutely breathtaking. So much of what's in my closet comes from Cocosh, and every single piece gets compliments. Their collection is fun and unique, and I can only find it at Cocosh. But what really sets Cocosh apart is the people. The owners and employees are incredibly kind, warm, and genuinely eager to help. They go so far above and beyond. They have stayed open after hours just for me, and have even closed the store so I could try on clothes in the evening without any rush. That kind of personal, heartfelt service is so rare -- it makes every visit feel special. Cocosh Boutique doesn't just have gorgeous things....it has a soul. If you haven't been in yet, you are truly missing out. And if you're like me and somehow haven't left a review yet, do it now. They deserve every bit of praise they get!

The fashions here were dubbed "resort chic" by the sales woman but most of the items seemed very low key and easy to wear. Comfy cotton tanks and tunics, pool cover up style dresses, boho maxi dresses and peasant skirts. Just the type of thing you want for summer in southern Arizona. They also had some really cute sandals and accessories. I am sure that they will get a lot of traffic from tourists staying at the nearby resorts as well as locals. I didn't purchase anything this time, since it was late and my hubby was getting impatient. But I did notice that they had a plus sized section as well as a discount rack so I am sure I will be back.

She shops at Clique all the time and we both needed dresses...so lets start the fun! The clothing in the store was not overly priced and everything that they had was flattering to a girl/woman's body. I could have walked away with the whole store...but then I remembered that I was very poor...:) Also, I have to say that for somebody who can NEVER find anything on a sales rack...I picked up 2 shirts and an adorable skirt. My Grandmother started going to Tubac in the 1980s. Once a month during college, every single trip…read moreto visit during a holiday, or during a trip home (once I moved away for work), we "had to" go to Gary's (Old Presidio Traders). "Had to." My grandmother would spend more than an hour, pouring over every single bracelet in the old pawn case. Every single one. She'd try on more than I care to think about. Sometimes, we'd have a dozen different cuffs on the counter, waiting for her to choose the one (or two) that she wanted. And of course, my mother and I got sucked into this game as well. While we stood around, trying to get out of the way of the tourists, my mother, grandmother, and I talked. "Oh, that'll be nice once it is shined up." "How's school?" "What about that one over there!" Vicki, Gary, and the others would chime in along the way. Over the course of more than 30 years of regular visits, we got to know Gary and the entire staff. They were always kind, patient, and funny. We learned how Gary would buy bags of old pawn, by weight, sight unseen. We learned about kids, grandkids, divorces, retirements, and that the folks who worked there were kind and funny people. We also had a darn good time. Between the 3 of us desert rats, we gathered an enormous collection of Native American (Mostly Navajo) cuffs, necklaces, earrings, and rings. ENORMOUS. Today, my grandmother is more than 100 years old and in declining health. When I look at her collection now, I see workmanship, quality, good prices, and the priceless: memories. OPT is an overwhelming treat. Take your time. Ask questions. Go for a walk, or go for lunch--then go back and get that piece you were eyeing. You won't regret it. (I attached a small sample.)
