Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a freeze-dried cockroach embedded in or resting on the product. I was shocked and immediately lost my appetite. I have preserved the product and its packaging and have taken photographs of what I found. At this point, I'm unsure what steps I should take next, so I'm seeking advice on how to properly report the incident and determine whether further investigation is warranted.

I've had to throw my shoes away, may need to replace my floor mat, and feel generally lousy after breathing fumes on the way home. In 40 years of pumping gas I've NEVER had this happen. All the attendant did was sprinkle a little kitty litter on the spill.
