I shop at this Costco location regularly, typically at least twice a week. Recently, I purchased a package of frozen egg bites that are designed to be heated in the microwave for breakfast. This morning, I removed one of the egg bites from the freezer and opened the sealed package. As I looked at it, I noticed something unusual on top of the egg bite. Upon closer inspection, it appeared to be a freeze-dried cockroach embedded in or resting on the product. I was shocked and immediately lost my appetite. I have preserved the product and its packaging and have taken photographs of what I found. The best value in town, the classic $1.50 hot dog and 20-ounce drink combo at Costco Wholesale. Total out-the-door damage after tax, $1.60. Hard to beat in today's world. Stopped in this morning right at the 9 AM opening to pick up a new pair of glasses from the optical department ,another area where Costco continues to deliver excellent value. I was first in line, and after a quick adjustment, I was in and out in about five minutes. Efficient, painless, and honestly kind of impressive. Afterward, I decided to reward myself with one of my guilty pleasures, tubesteak breakfast. The legendary hot dog combo still hits the spot, salty, satisfying, and oddly comforting. I also noticed what appeared to be a newer menu item, a loaded calzone for around $6.99. Didn't try it this trip, but it definitely caught my attention for a future visit. One small disappointment this trip, no containers of the diced raw onions at the condiment station. Apparently, it was related to a holiday week vendor issue. Not a dealbreaker, but those onions are part of the full Costco dog experience for me. I did notice they now offer deli mustard alongside the standard yellow mustard, which was a welcome upgrade. I love Costco! I come here soooo much. Too much. I work for Costco and I swear most of my money goes right back into the company because the way I spend 100s every-time is manic. They have so many different things and it's like a hunt each time because they have new things all the time. When they have sales, it gets crazy. You really have to go during the week. Later in the evening is better with less crowds, but the downside is you don't get any samples. The samples end at around 7 o'clock or maybe a little bit before then. I personally like this location over others in Orlando. I find that they have a better selection of goods comparatively, they also always seem to have the snacks and items that go viral on socials. The first rule of Costco is that if you see a unique item, buy it. Often times I'll think about it and come back to a different stock. The pricing also is helpful once you understand. WOW , so glad I didn't come in on a Saturday. This place was really popping with people! Hubby and I came in to renew our membership! The personal was very friendly, polite and helpful. Picked up a few great buys, will do more shopping another day. I'll never get over how huge this place is and the wide variety of items. Food, including fresh cut meats, vegetables, snacks, drinks, electronics, clothing and even a pharmacy and snack bar. Heads up, on a couple of things, bring a sweater, it's chilly inside. This is my go-to Costco location for all things bulk and gas. I don't find the location itself really any different that any other Costco that I have shopped. I've had a basic membership for years. Generally, I can always find items that I want and occasionally they may stop carrying an item that I love. The draw to Costco is that it offers a great cost per item when purchasing in bulk. I do recommend going Monday - midday Friday if you can. Friday evenings, weekends and Holidays get very packed over here. Sometimes the parking lot gets quite full, and you'll have to circle a few times for a parking space, and the gas lines get lengthy. Sometimes, the neighboring Chic-fila traffic on Saturdays added to the chaos - perhaps with their remodel they will provide a solution to that mayhem. With recent changes, now members have to scan in to make sure that only members are entering or that you are with someone that has a membership. I think that this may mean that the food court may now only be accessible by members. Costo is still moving strong with two of its loss leaders - rotisserie chickens and the $1.50 hotdog-soda combo. In the past I've purchased my auto tires from here and had them serviced here as well. I was pretty satisfied with their scheduling, service and prices. Overall, I'd say that I'm a Costco fan. read more

I love love love me some Costco samples but we are all running to get that Hot Dog. My kid loves the $1.99 pizza slice and it is huge! The hot dog combo is where the true value is at $1.50 for a dog and a drink. The chocolate chip cookies seem like they don't fit the low prices until you look at them. $2.50 for that HUGE COOKIE. We love to use the 25 cent water machine and it's a great price for water too. I'm always finding new things to get me coming back in food and merch in the store. Costco, I appreciate their policies, which is why I switched over AND I expected better. I got a case of beer with one of them empty. Brought it in to the customer service and might as well have been mocked by everyone at the counter as they all turned around to stare at me like I had some nerve. ... No "sorry about that, here's a store credit or here's a free soda" since that's the smallest thing in there. I thought that that business membership would count for something, guess. Not. Meanwhile I just made the MISTAKE of ordering the wrong item and in the Sam's Club app and they said , "don't worry about it, no need to return we got a refund coming your way. A couple things, my PLUS-membership with them JUST renewed, and I've been with them for probably a decade or more... AND Before I get Bombarded with the ethical / economic reasons why one company can take a loss vs the other.... I knew that on a case of beer , they're like $2 a bottle AT MOST. It wasn't about the money. I wanted to see how their team handles something like that. Bc I stop going places that I don't feel deserve my money, point blank. A small joke and a laugh would've gone light years farther than the young lady walking away to tell others about my issue, having them all turn around and stare at me and my sister, and then returning with an additional person to tell me there's nothing they can do. Had it been me, I would've pulled up the persons account and seen: "Since you've been a member with us for ____ long " Or "I see you have a Business Membership, " A store credit, a coke and a smile, something other than oh well, nothing we can do. Solid location for this chain. Large parking lot that is pretty easy to navigate despite it being busy on a regular basis. Obviously weekends and evening are the peak times so it will be more crowded than other points in the week. If you are able to come during off hours it may be easier to get around and find what you want. The store itself is clean and well organized throughout. We didn't have any issues finding the things we were looking for (and weren't looking for LOL). The check outs seemed super busy with a line that extended pretty far back, but it was a short wait and we moved through easily. They do check your receipt on the way out as they don't offer bags for your items, so just be ready with that and you'll exit without issue. Overall: A Easy experience to find bulk buys. Try to avoid peak traffic times if you are able. read more

I love Costco!! Been members here like forever. Only thing is, this particular Costco is the closest one to my house. If it weren't for the drive, I'd be here every weekend. So when we do come, we take our time and buy everything we need to last us a long time. We typically spend about $300-$400 each visit. That's from meats, coffee, hygiene products, household items, and toilet paper. Everything is in bulk, so we try our best to limit ourselves to things we know we're going to consume. Which brings me to my next point ---- the food samples. We love food and also love to try different things.. but I must admit.. we've bought things from Costco that thought were good, brought it home.. only to be disappointed. So since then, we've made it a point to sample the foods first before purchasing. We save money this way and plus I hate looking at wasteful foods in my pantry. Costco does have a food court inside. I'm always tempted to get a slice of pizza after spending bours of shopping but the lines are always so long. By the time I get my food, I'd already be at my house. Their gas station is pretty great. Prices are typically .30 cents a gallon cheaper compared to your local Wawa or Racetrack. Just like the food court, the lines are always long to fill up. So if you plan on getting gas here, order a pizza, chicken bake, hot dog or sundae and eat it in your car as you're waiting to fill up. I love that Costco has travel deals as well. My best friend purchased a Kauai travel package for me and our other bestie for a girls trip for a reasonable price at a beautiful resort. It was an amazing trip by the way. So I decided to purchase a package trip to the Dominican Republic for me and the hubby. It included our flights, transportation to and from the airport, all inclusive stay at our resort and credits to go towards our excursions and the spa. Oh and also credits to go towards to our Costco purchases. We used our leftover $200 credit towards our most recent Costco run.. so the total cost we spent that day was $98 thanks to our credit. I love all the perks and savings that Costco has to offer. You can stock up on food, supplies, be prepared for any catastrophic natural disasters, and travel boujie on a budget. read more

Finally had my first Costco experience! I visited on Sunday and got there right at 10am when the location opened and the parking lot was almost all the way full. Staff was really helpful and quick at the front counter where my friend got her Costco card. We made our way around the store and found some unique snacks in the middle section. I picked out cute pajamas and an athletic dress, which will be good for these hotter months. Lots of really good deals on pantry staples and paper goods. My favorite find was my $10 insulated cooler bag. It was massive and kept my cold items chilly while shopping. I also really like the huge selection of prepared meals in the back. I snagged a gyro kit for dinner. The self check out line was long but we opted for the regular check out which was super fast. To get the full Costco experience, I purchased the $1.50 hot dog + soda combo and $1.99 pepperoni pizza slice. Everything was very good and plenty of seats available. The only con was exiting the store. The lines to exit were gridlock and past the registers. It was a lengthy amount of time to get out of the store. read more

It's a wholesale club. Their service is not great, but it will do. I have been a member for over 20 years. They have a great wine selection including Prosecco. Kirkland, the Costco brand, happens to be popular, and surprisingly highly rated and of great quality! Their Kirkland smoked Salmon is Alaskan Wild Caught. Their Imported Brie and soft goat cheese are among my favorites. They have a lot of organic produce and their bakery goods are well priced. I really love shopping at Costco. Moreover, for years, they were stocking Zephyrhills Water in a sports top bottle. This was really helpful for someone with a physical challenge to drink out of the bottle. So why am I giving Costco a 1? In the past months, they have dropped carrying this item and you can only get it at the Costco Business Center near the Florida Mall and it takes 90 MINUTES round trip to get there and back. Additionally, you cannot order it and have it home delivered from the business center. I wish Costco would step it up and bring this product back. Overall, I like my neighborhood Costco. I have only had one bad interaction with them. I went with a friend and they were buying something (1 item) and we used the self-checkout so they could pay for their item and I would check out my groceries and got scolded by one of the employees and they started to complain about how we were holding up the line. I would have never thought I would get an interaction like that at Costco but I understand if they were having a frustrating day wish they didn't projected on me though. But besides that one interaction, I like the variety of items and seasonal items the Costco carries. They always have something I never know I needed. I've only ever came here to shop for others (instacart).....weird to say since I got a free membership from Uber This location is nice, clean and has a big parking lot! I've never seen them be out of stock of anything besides water during hurricane season. The best times to go are on Tuesday and Wednesday; the worst are the weekend...Sunday and Monday especially. The lines are always extremely long and people will be in your way. No one will say excuse me and will literally just stand in the middle of the aisle The veggies can sometimes be a hit or miss on being fresh btw. I took a star away because it's sometimes hard to find help! I'll usually have to ask an employee who's working the clothes area. The meat department employees are wishy-washy, some are very help but others will treat you stupid. My favorite is the employee who workers the veggie area! He's super sweet and seems to remember me since I shop so often The cashiers are also sweet but can be slow but understandable when a customer has almost the whole store in their cart lol Oh and the gas station is insane, I recommend going early any of the days but again noticed it less busy on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with random spikes during lunch and rush hour (obviously) read more

We have been members for a year now and really love the benefits of being with Costco! Most recently we have been researching a place to get tires for my Grand Cherokee, and ultimately decided on going with Costco! The woman who helped us in the tire center was so helpful, extremely professional and knowledgeable. As a woman normally going into a tire or auto center, it can be stressful as many times the men working there try to take advantage and oversell services. However this was the complete opposite! She was clear and understood the needs of my car. We came in as a walk in appointment and were given an estimate of 2-4 hours. The service was completed in under 2 hours, and was great! The benefits of road side, warranty, rotations and balancing are all great! I would highly recommend coming to Costco in general, but after this I can't say enough good things about it! read more

I've been back a few times since the Covid craziness subsided a little. I've upped my star rating as Costco has brought back their Level of service closer to what it was a year ago. The staff is genuinely helpful with any questions on finding items you are looking for. They do a great job at keeping items stocked on the shelves.
