I love Costco! I come here soooo much. Too much. I work for Costco and I swear most of my money goes right back into the company because the way I spend 100s every-time is manic. They have so many different things and it's like a hunt each time because they have new things all the time. When they have sales, it gets crazy. You really have to go during the week. Later in the evening is better with less crowds, but the downside is you don't get any samples. The samples end at around 7 o'clock or maybe a little bit before then. The staff here at this location are usually always nice as well. I'll continue coming here.

Juciest grapes ever! Here for the samples but there are none

Ah yes... Costco at the Winter Park location -- the place you somehow love and love to complain about at the same time . But honestly, it's still one of my go-to spots for everyday living essentials, groceries, and those random finds you didn't know you needed until you walked in. Let's start with the positives because there are many. The variety here is amazing -- tons of brand-name options, bulk household items, fresh food, snacks, and seasonal treasures that somehow always make their way into my cart. And can we talk about the gas prices? If your car runs on premium like mine, you know how much of a win it is to fill up here at a more reasonable price. Now... the reality check. This location is always busy. Morning, afternoon, weekday, weekend, holidays -- it truly doesn't matter. Even with the newer Executive warehouse opening nearby (which we're honestly lucky to have), this store still stays packed. The checkout lines can feel long, and navigating through the aisles sometimes feels like a full-on mission. That said, being an Executive member definitely has its perks. Early access helps a bit, and despite the crowds, the staff keeps things moving pretty efficiently. The lines may look intimidating, but they usually move faster than expected. At the end of the day, this Costco is still a solid one-stop shop for everything -- from groceries and home essentials to quick food court runs. Yes, it's crowded. Yes, you might spend more than you planned. But somehow you'll still find yourself coming back because the value and selection just make it worth it.

I personally like this location over others in Orlando. I find that they have a better selection of goods comparatively, they also always seem to have the snacks and items that go viral on socials. The first rule of Costco is that if you see a unique item, buy it. Often times I'll think about it and come back to a different stock. The pricing also is helpful once you understand. For example, anything ending in a 97 is clearanced at a cheaper discount and unlikely to come back. I took a picture of a price tag so you can see.

I love Costco and all their locations as they offer so many good bulk items for a great price and the extra perk is their cheese pizza slice or whole pie that me and my little one love ! I was a huge Sam's club customer for many years and I have to admit I like them both the same. Their wine selection and sea food selection and bakery are the best !!!

Mixed Feelings Edition Costco is honestly one of those places you both love and question every single visit . On one hand, the value is unbeatable -- good quality products, bulk pricing, and gas that doesn't make you cry at the pump (especially when your car only takes premium... yes, I feel that pain). The Good: There's a huge variety of brands and seasonal finds, and I always end up discovering something new whether I planned to or not. From snacks to home essentials to random "didn't know I needed this" items -- it's dangerously fun. The bakery and ready-to-eat food section are solid, and the famous food court still hits when you want something quick and cheap after a long shopping run. The Not-So-Fun Parts: Let's talk about the crowds... because wow. Parking can feel like a sport, aisles get chaotic, and somehow everyone shows up at the same time. You walk in for one thing and leave with a cart full of everything except what you came for. Lines move fast most of the time, but peak hours definitely test your patience. Overall Thoughts: Costco is a love-and-hate relationship -- amazing deals and quality, but you need mental preparation before going in. Come with a list, come early if you can, and accept that you'll probably still overspend. Would I keep my membership? Absolutely. Would I mentally prepare myself before every visit? Also yes. Pizza and hot dog - absolute must every visit

This Costco is usually pretty busy unless you go a couple hours before closing. They're well stocked and have most of the viral items you'll see people posting. They added a new item at their food court, a calzone, which is pretty tasty and has ample filling. It's become my go to rather than the pizza, chicken bake, and hotdog.

I love love love me some Costco samples but we are all running to get that Hot Dog. My kid loves the $1.99 pizza slice and it is huge! The hot dog combo is where the true value is at $1.50 for a dog and a drink. The chocolate chip cookies seem like they don't fit the low prices until you look at them. $2.50 for that HUGE COOKIE. We love to use the 25 cent water machine and it's a great price for water too. I'm always finding new things to get me coming back in food and merch in the store. They have some rad kites right now!

Costco, I appreciate their policies, which is why I switched over AND I expected better. I got a case of beer with one of them empty. Brought it in to the customer service and might as well have been mocked by everyone at the counter as they all turned around to stare at me like I had some nerve. ... No "sorry about that, here's a store credit or here's a free soda" since that's the smallest thing in there. I thought that that business membership would count for something, guess. Not. Meanwhile I just made the MISTAKE of ordering the wrong item and in the Sam's Club app and they said , "don't worry about it, no need to return we got a refund coming your way. A couple things, my PLUS-membership with them JUST renewed, and I've been with them for probably a decade or more... AND Before I get Bombarded with the ethical / economic reasons why one company can take a loss vs the other.... I knew that on a case of beer , they're like $2 a bottle AT MOST. It wasn't about the money. I wanted to see how their team handles something like that. Bc I stop going places that I don't feel deserve my money, point blank. A small joke and a laugh would've gone light years farther than the young lady walking away to tell others about my issue, having them all turn around and stare at me and my sister, and then returning with an additional person to tell me there's nothing they can do. Had it been me, I would've pulled up the persons account and seen: "Since you've been a member with us for ____ long " Or "I see you have a Business Membership, " A store credit, a coke and a smile, something other than oh well, nothing we can do. Makes me wonder if they'd treat someone that looked more important than myself this same way. Who knows, not my primary concern. Either way, I had expected better from this company, that's all.

Does the university boulevard location have a liquor store?

No, it does not. The tire store takes the separate area. The store near the millennial mall has a liquor store.

What time does the gas station open at Costco on University?

Monday - Friday: 6am Saturday and Sunday: 7am

Do they carry any halal or kosher meats? Fresh meat, not cold cuts or cooked meat?

No - I've never seen meats labelled as kosher or halal. The only possibility might be at a business center, but we're talking about half a goat carcass kind of thing. It may also be a regional thing - where there's a concentration of population that…

A line for the checkout took over 7 minutes to get through this time and - although quick last time- I had to wait about 5 minutes for a representative to come over to check my ID. They sample pretty frequently here, but you do have to go during lunch hours to try getting a good variety - otherwise it's propel and an ice pop. The gas line is also pretty horrendous - although it mayyyyyy be worth the .30cent difference. There were many near accidents when people would leave the gas pump just due to general signage issues. Although not all of these are Sam's specific (and more due to the guests), these matters could definitely be improved with better guidance from team members on which checkout lines are open and organization.

I was drawn into Dear Prudence by a Wednesday Adams inspired outfit they had displayed outside. Inside is a beautifully laid out boutique with a fascinating mix of vintage inspired clothing, accessories, and gift items. Some of the clothing was new and some pieces were gently used. I loved the ethereal skirts, flirty dresses, and lacey blouses. The whimsical jewelry also caught my eye, especially the Old World Style Cameo necklaces ($24.00). I anticipated the prices to be higher but when I checked tags everything was quite reasonable. I was solo at the time but the next time I come to Orlando I plan on taking my daughter shopping here.
