This was by far the worst service I've received. We came in on a Sunday after the lunch rush about 1pm. There were plenty of open tables but the less than welcoming hostess says it'll be a wait of 5-10 mins to clean a table and I'm thinking "ok maybe since we have a baby and need the high chair stand they need to clean one where we won't be in the way". Wrong. She puts us at a table in a main walkway with hardly room to pass through anyway due to the wall from the salad bar being about 2ft from our table. So everyone that went by had to shimmy and still managed to bump the baby's seat to get to the salad bar and back. We sat with menus for about 10 minutes or so waiting to be greeted or have our drink order taken and no one came so we walked out. If this is how bad the service is I can only imagine how bad the food would've been. read more

This is a chain restaurant, and depending on who is working they have a snobby vibe as if it were an upscale 5 star restaurant in NYC or something. It's actually kind of funny. Service was not that great. Typical So Dak level. The salad bar wasn't as fresh as what I'm used to at RT's in bigger cities. I asked about why they didn't have some of the toppings I'm used to (craisins, blue cheese) and the girl looked at me like I was crazy. Arrived at 9 on a Wed evening. Quiet, about 10 people in the sitting area and 2 people at the bar. I was greeted quickly by a very friendly bartender. She took my drink order and returned to take my food order with nice efficiency. Food arrived in good time. I ordered the steak and shrimp. Steak was slightly over done. I ordered medium rare but it was medium; pink in the middle. Shrimp was good. Wish more than three but meal was 14.99. Decently priced. Service overalls very good, minus a waitress who was trying to explain why she had forgotten to check on a 70 yr. old who was seated at closing the day before. Not needed to be heard. Typically we enjoy a Ruby Tuesday's experience and expected the same at this location. Disappointed. There seemed to be plenty of staff in proportion to the number of patrons, however, none of the tables were bussed. Dirty dishes and plates and crumbs and mess littered at least 10 tables. And nobody seemed motivated to clean it up. The servers also did not bus dishes from meals in progress, so dirty dishes and glasses were accumulating on our table along with those dining in our vicinity. It was very off putting. The food was mediocre. Sub par for a Ruby Tuesday's. This location did not have their game on. read more

The restaurant was absolutely filthy. The hostess quickly put on a mask when she saw me wearing mine. She literally seated us at a dirty table. I asked for a different one. They would only seat in the dirty section. There was a clean section but they would not seat anyone there because it had been cleaned for the night. The floor was covered in food, it did not smell clean at all and the food was sub par. I would have left but my husband was hungry and no other late night options. The waitress was very sweet and helpful so she got a nice tip. It wasn't her fault. We will not eat there again. read more

I am sad to say that the quality of Rube Tubes here in Mitchell has plummeted drastically. The pastas and burgers that were once flavorful and abundant now come in tiny portions bland and charred. Horrible! Extremely rude hostess, especially when inquiring about the gluten free menu they are supposed to have! Evidentially upper management only has it on line now and not easy to find!! My family tried this place on the way to the Corn Palace. I will say it was reasonable clean and seemed very busy. The Salad bar was filled but the salad dressings needed serious upkeep. Our gal that waited on us seemed a bit scattered. I like unsweetened tea and my daughter asked for sweet tea. It was switched. Mine should have been easy since I take lime. Nope. She fixed it and was kind about it. My Bourbon salmon filet was great. My daughters had decent kids meals. My hubby had the petite filet med to med-well. It came out bloody. Bloody! I had to flag the gal down to have it cooked more. Once my Hubby got it cooked, the taste was horrible. We can eat just about everything, but this was bad. Bad cut of meat and the weird butter on top was awful. I flagged the Manager down. We explained our situation and He took it off the bill. That was the right thing to do. All in all, mine was the perfect dinner. My Hubby however, did not keep the little bit of dinner in him. I will give kudos to the manager but not the waitress. She had to be flagged down several times. I realize I will never stop in here again. I just am letting you know, the manager made a bad situation better by not having us pay for it. Just happened be be exactly what we were looking for during our travels. Atmosphere food and service. All excellent. The location is great. Right off the interstate I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered a seafood trio. Both delicious prepared well. Place needs a good cleaning. Floor littered with bunch of debris. Sat down server took drink order (raspberry lemonade, short tap, sprite and 2 waters). Ten minutes later got up from table to check on drink order. Bar tender came in behind bar and told me just getting to our drinks. Server then brought drinks a few moments later and said that bar tender had told her that she was busy and couldn't get to our drink order because bar tender was busy - whole situation leaves you not happy. Either lazy bar tender or she didn't want to make our drink order. Hopefully our food order goes better. read more

This Ruby Tuesday's is mediocre. It's just ok. The food was warm not hot. The ravioli had a very rubbery texture but the sauce was good. The 3 stars are for the quick service and the cheese fries. I realize it's not hard to screw up cheese fries. But nonetheless they were good. read more

GOOD FOR YOU RUBY TUESDAY! A co-worker and I were looking for somewhere to eat in lovely Mitchell, SD. I thought RT might have some healthy dishes. We perused the menu online and I got really excited by their Fit and Trim menu items which listed all the macronutrients (fiber, carbs, fat, etc). Even though I can't recall going to a RT's in forever, I had this idea it would be of Applebee's / TGIFridays caliber (not good). BUT I am a believer! We sat at the bar and I noticed 4 skinny cocktails on the menu. I opted for the Skinny Mojito. It could have used a little extra muddling but it was delicious! For my meal I order the Fit and Trim petite sirloin. For the sides there were, dare I say, a plethora, of appetizing, vegetable sides including broccoli, sugar snap peas, asparagus, spaghetti squash, zucchini, mashed cauliflower and green beans. I chose the cauliflower and zucc. Wonderful! And it was, like, $11.99. Now, I have to try to find one in Torrance! read more

I travel frequently several hundred miles to work in this part of the state. Several years ago I went to Ruby Tuesday's to have a drink one evening. I ordered a Crown and Coke..response.."we are out of that". No apology or offering of a substitute. Ok..then I order a Jack Daniels and coke.."we are out of that" .. keep in mind they were literally out of two of the most popular whiskeys on the planet..so I asked..are you getting more? Response " ya Ill probably order some soon. I did not set foot back in this place for over 2 years and decided tonight to give it a try thinking that maybe it was different people. Well after having a fairly decent meal and chatting with some women from California at the bar I went to pay my tab with my company corporate card the bartender returned after a short leave to the back and said my card had been declined and that their system had been down all day and they had to manually call them in. I have no idea what that means but I have a an American Express corporate card which will never be declined in fact it has a ridiculous high limit because it is backed by one of the biggest drug companies in the world. The manager offered zero solution. I was forced to put the expense on a personal card. I come here twice a month for over 18 years..I will NEVER set foot in Ruby Tuesday again. and I will tell at least a dozen other people that are in my industry who come here the same frequency, to avoid it like the plague. I've been to many ruby tuesdays and my recent experiences with them have sorta agreed with the law of diminishing returns. So I went here with some trepidation. HOWEVER I came away with new appreciation for RT. I had the Chesapeake Catch which was fish (tilapia??) with crab on top. Sides were mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. Yum yum yum. $3 blue moon special helped things too. My party also had another seafood dish and the chicken bella; all were quite good. Service was also friendly, though a tad slow in this depot. Each time we've gone to this RT the service has been just ok. Not very attentive and they don't seem thrilled to be there. Also, each time we've gone, something about our order has been incorrect. Food is good, not great and I'm really surprised at the salad bar. Not as many toppings as we're used to and doesn't get refilled promptly. Something that surprised me on this visit was my 1 year old dropped his kids menu that he had been drawing on and immediately the manager picked it up, crumbled it and threw it away. I sat at the bar and got a very lukewarm greeting from the bartender. I ordered the chicken caesar salad which was served to me promptly. the chicken was nicely cooked tender and juicy. The portion was on the skimpy side considering it was $8. It was served in a very large shallow bowl to make it appear to be a lot of food. I wasn't fooled. I went into this Ruby Tuesday around 6pm for dinner. I had a fabulous waitress that was nothing but accommodating and sweet. I ordered the chicken and broccoli pasta. I asked for them to sub the chicken for broccoli. Not extra broccoli but to SUBSTITUTE IT. My waitress was willing, the other bartenders and waitresses for more than understanding to change it. The management on the other hand charged me for the FULL price of the dish ON TOP of charging me for an extra side of broccoli. All staff besides the two managers had simple ideas to accommodate me, showing this is something they do regularly. I first got directed towards their manager Teri Ratigen, extremely rude woman. Felt the need to explain to me that her general manager explained that they can just make the chicken breast for me and send it home, but I don't eat meat and I shouldn't have to. She was not accommodating at all, made it clear that if anything she was annoyed with the WHOLE idea that I just wanted pasta and broccoli. They wanted me to pay over $20 to just have pasta noodles and broccoli. I explained to the manager that they can just have the meal that I was not goin to eat it at all. Then I asked to speak to the general manager, Ken Wulf. He was under the impression, because clearly he didn't care enough to actually ask me what the actual problem was, that I was just unhappy with the menus price of the meal, when In fact I just did not want to be charged extra., He tried explaining that the ticket read that I wasn't being charged for the broccoli. I explained to him that yes it's not on the ticket yet because my waitress was kind enough to not charge me for it till she talked to me first. He explained that there was absolutely NOTHING he could do. I find it hard to believe that your management staff can accommodate to dietary issues in meals normally, yet they can't accommodate mine. As we were getting our check to leave, he told me he would be comping my charge for the salad bar(something more expensive then the broccoli that the original dispute was over) , showing me that this entire time they did in fact have the capability to just allow me to have chicken-less pasta without being charged extra. So instead of allowing me to have a vegetarian meal fairly, I sat with no meal at all, while they threw the one I ordered away into the trash while my friend ate. I will never be eating at a Ruby Tuesday again and will make it a point to leave a TERRIBLE review for their location it self. read more

In town for business and staying at the Hampton Inn, which is across the parking lot from Ruby Tuesday. Over the last several years, this chain has improved. This particular location had decent service and a decent beer list (Fat Tire, Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada). The only probelm on my visit, was the fact that they were out of chicken & salmon; therefore, I opted for a steak. Lastly, it's never fun having 2 flies buzzing around, when you're trying to enjoy your dinner. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're staying in the area. Plus, they have free WiFi. read more

We dined here on a Friday night! The bartenders were so welcoming and friendly! The managers were around making the flow of a busy night go smoothly and also very nice! I often get the Chicken and Broccoli which was good as usual and the service was good. However, the serving size is inconsistent at this Ruby Tuesday location. I sometimes get a large serving, sometimes average consistent with other locations but today a very small serving size. Definitely not worth the $14.99 price. read more

So I was on a trip with my family and we stopped at Ruby's. I got a Ruby's American burger with the salad bar. The burger was ok but really dull. Oh! And I found HAIR In my burger. Mean while like about 10 minutes later I was cleaning my braces and guess what I found!!!!!!! MULTIPLE HAIRS IN MY BRACES!!!
