I desperately called YVC since we are patients there and they told me to come right down to assess the damage of the frame. Lucky for me, the gentlman that helped me said her lenses were good but the frame was beyind repair. He patiently looked and found a similar size and color frame and was able to put the lenses in the new frame!!!!! My glasses were fixed in under 10 minutes they didn't attempt to sell me other business or decide to switch my lenses or anything like that all they wanted to do was make sure that the problem I had was resolved. TLDR; I didn't receive my glasses that were supposedly shipped to me after I moved. The manager is…read moreapparently never in the store and at no point called us or responded to our requests for them to call us. I am not legally able to drive without my glasses. I expected an urgent response to a failure to deliver them. It took me a week, and eventually a very clear statement I would pursue all avenues available to me, to get the manager to agree to void the insurance claim so I could purchase new glasses. This is despite their initial statement that they would do so several days prior to this. The longer version is below: I went to get new lenses and frames in February. I was told they'd be either 1) ready for me to pick up before I moved, or 2) shipped to my new residence. They were not ready when I moved, and were subsequently shipped when they were ready a few days later. I was told they'd arrive March 5th. The glasses didn't arrive. I waited a couple of business days and then contacted the store. I was given a tracking number, which didn't work. UPS indicated the shipment either didn't exist or was lost. I informed the store and requested the purchase be refunded and the insurance claim voided so I could get glasses locally (and more importantly, faster without requiring shipping). It had been 2-3 weeks without glasses now. The manager of the store (who at no point spoke to me on the phone or responded to my requests for them to call me) indicated they would void the claim if the package didn't arrive in two business days. Despite the frustration of not having glasses for two more days, I agreed. I decided to give them one extra day and then called back to request they void my claim. At this point, I was informed (by a store associate) that the manager of the store decided they would have the lenses remade and shipped to us, but wouldn't void the claim. I expressed my frustration that the manager would go back on their word, and has not once made an effort to call me personally. I also expressed that I did not want to risk having these shipped and lost again. I indicated I would explore all avenues available to me to respond (contacting Pearle Vision Corporate, filing with the BBB, filing reviews on every site imaginable, etc.). Only then did I receive the offer of a refund and for them to void our claim.

I'm all for creating a relationship with your patients, but don't leave your other patients waiting past their appointment time to do so! I already have an appointment at a new office with a different dr.
