North Pole Christmas Lights - Security lighting during non-holiday days

Ben and his wonderful crew came out and did an excellent job. Ben was very helpful in identifying…read moreeverything that needed to be done and also helped me out a bit on the price. My home at night is no longer in the dark, for holidays or just an average day. These lights are wonderful because they are hidden during the day and well lit with many patterns to choose from at night. Speaking With Ben and having him explain the process and the products was extremely useful and he explained everything in good detail. If I had to do it again 10 more times, it would always be With North Pole Christmas Lights. Don't waste your time with anyone else and call Ben. The bottom line is, I chose some of the best lights that I never have to take down and purchased everything from North Pole Christmas Lights, it was a no-brainer and a one stop shop.

The team that came were really respectful, worked through cold conditions and made it as convenient for us as we needed to handle a few other projects at the same time. The communication was great from the service advisor down to the install team and I cant emphasize it enough but the team was a great reflection of the company. Shoutout to the team and the great quality of work! Our family is really happy about our newest addition to the home. Thank you again!

We hired Joaquin based on recommendation from the seller of the house we purchased…read more He showed up on-time, gave us a quote on the spot and it's a pretty reasonable rate. Good quality of work, he even cleaned up the areas after he's done. We hired him to add 3 power outlets on 3 locations and hung 2 chandeliers. I would definitely hire him again.

Full disclosure, this individual never performed work for me. However, you should be aware that he…read moreis not a licensed contractor, and as such, he is not allowed to perform any job that exceeds $500. I called him thinking he was the same contractor that did a great job for me years ago, as he has the same business name. The initial message I left for him stated that he did a job for me in 2010, yet his yelp page states he was established in 2017. He did not correct the error when he called me, and strangely, he tried to convince me he was the same guy. I had emailed him a description of the job (replacing and moving my gas meter), and the parts alone would clearly exceed $500. Yet he did not disclose the fact that he had no license until he arrived and I asked for it. He has no business address, so he is more of a handyman. He could not have performed the work for under $500 since the parts would cost him more than that. So to make money on this job, he would have had to break the law and perform work beyond what is allowed. Also, when he arrived, instead of coming to the door and introducing himself, he walked across my decorative rocks in my front yard to save a few steps by using the pathways all around the rocks. Oh, and when I told him that the City would not approve work done by someone without a license, he stated that a permit was not required to move my electric meter. I told him that I could do the work myself if the City would let me, but they won't. Had I been naive and contracted with him, PG&E would come out to turn off the power, ask to see the City permit, and then leave when I couldn't produce one. He clearly is not qualified to do more than replace outlets, add a fixture, etc. He has no license, and therefore, he has no bond nor workman's comp insurance. If you hire him for a major job and something goes wrong, you will have no recourse through the licensing board, or probably anywhere else. You will note that all of his positive reviews are for trivial jobs. If you do use him to keep costs down, the smaller the job, the smaller your risk.
