Every contact I had with the company was responsive and helpful. There were no delays. I worked with 3 people on our solar purchase and install and all followed through and were quite friendly. The crew and all of the people at United solar Electric were very responsive and professional. I would, and will do business with them again, (adding an additional battery). PG&E was a problem. PG&E was very slow with providing PTO (permission To Operate). We did not receive PTO until end of May 2026, over 6 months from the date when system was operational. PG&E will need to upgrade transformer (December ???) before we can send greater that 2000 watts back to the system. Right now, we have conditional permission to operate, limiting output to PG&E to 2.2 KW. To United Solar Electric's credit, they were with us the entire time dealing with PG&E and were just as irate with PG&E as we were. Thank you, United Solar Electric!

We were interested in solar for our 1940s home and provided a deposit in good faith. However, after further inspection of our roof and the overall project viability, we decided not to move forward. When we requested our deposit back--before any equipment was ordered or installation began--the company initially refused, claiming it was 'passed' the point of a refund. It was a high-pressure situation where we felt they were trying to lock us into a contract we weren't comfortable with. While we did eventually receive our deposit back after pushing the issue, the initial refusal to return funds for work not performed was a major red flag. Homeowners should be very careful with the fine print here. If you are looking for a company that values transparency and customer comfort over just 'closing the deal,' I would suggest looking elsewhere. We're glad we didn't get stuck with them and are instead putting that money into improvements that actually fit our home.

Fast and quick! AC wasn't working very well Thursday late afternoon, called Friday morning at 9:30…read moream, got a tech by 5:15 pm the same day. After a quick analysis, said it was my lack of freon and sure enough, it was! Suggested I put sealant in first to keep the freon from leaking and then poured in the needed amount of R-410 freon and my AC is back on which is really important for an upstairs home! I am updating this review. I can't believe that the Lennox AC system that is less than 4 yrs old…read morehad a coil failure but it did. It was under warranty but that only covered the part. Failure of the part is a Lennox issue and not a failure of All-Air. Labor for the job was $1800 for a job that took one service rep a little more than 3 hours. That beat the $3900 estimate that I got from another hvac company in the area that was sending 2 service reps for the job. Robert arrived on time and was polite and professional. I am thankful that All-Air was able to fix the problem and appreciated the help of Ray who made the initial diagnosis and topped off my coolant so that my AC system actually cooled my home and again for Robert who replaced the coil.

Considering the increased power generating capacity of newer panels and storage capability of the Tesla battery, I was sold by the quality and value of the expanded system. The design and contract review was done online in a timely fashion and it was a swift transition to installation taking place in just one day, as the the lead installer (Antonio) was joined with two co-workers who explained how the project would move forward and answered all my questions. My husband and I dug in our heels FOREVER, when it came to getting solar. There were all kinds of…read moresalespeople who came to our home on a monthly basis, and we just never had a real peace about being able to trust what we were being " sold", or told. My parents purchased solar from a HORRIBLE company that sounds a lot like 'SunFun'. After they passed away, and the house was sold...we were STILL making the monthly payments for over a year!!! That SunFun organization REFUSED to transfer the solar to the new homeowner, and eventually stopped taking or acknowledging our calls. It wasn't until we had to threaten the new homeowner with a lawsuit that SunFun finally transferred ownership. Due to this, we could not trust any of these solar companies...that is, until Kevin Bedard came to our home, and explained everything in great detail to my husband and I. He took the time to hear about our concerns, and he showed us how he truly cared. That same week, we spoke to two other families who shared their positive experiences about Ambrose Solar that made us feel that we would be in great hands. We had FINALLY FOUND A PEACE about getting solar on our home; KNOWING we would be in good hands, and we were ALL IN. So even though I had told the City of Lodi to not transfer my utilities or shut them off. They did so. After that I had to have the city of Lodi come turn them back on. Sadly after they were turned back on. I still had no power. I was told that I needed to contact an electrician. After reaching out to about 5 different electricians and then they wanted an arm and a leg. I gave my last phone call to A&A electric and I had explained to Paul the same exact thing that I had been telling every other company. Paul who I assume is the owner of A&A electric. Explained to me that since I live in a complex that I would need to go outside to the meters and there would be a breaker that needs to be flipped back on. Everyone that I spoke to didn't bother to tell me this. They wanted me to make an appointment for them to come out to look and see what the problem was. And then charge me an arm and a leg! Along with quotes for same day service call costing me over $400 dollars! I can't tell you how much it meant to me to have someone like Paul there to help me out and not just wanting to make a buck! Old school concern and care. It was over 90 degrees and I hadn't had any power since 8am so I was almost in tears by this time.
