I received follow-up emails and text messages for the pickup, where the donated furniture was going, and reassurance that the family furniture was going to the right place. Because the furniture was too big for me to move outside, and as Restore can't come into the house, Restore assigned the pick-up to Bulk Brothers. Later that evening, I sent another message stating that I was beginning to believe I had been scammed and asked him to let me know whether he was still planning to complete the move so I could make other arrangements if necessary. I had to be moved on that specific day. At approximately 6:00 a.m. on moving day, he finally called regarding the move. To my surprise, he sent a group of individuals he had apparently recruited through TikTok. The rate they charged was outrageous, but because I was left with few options at the last minute, I felt pressured to proceed with the move. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. I believe I was misled throughout the process, and I intend to pursue the matter in court to seek reimbursement and accountability.
