He has been getting groomed at the same place for 6 years..and I have to say this is the best groom he has ever had! Maryanne made sure every spot was perfectly perfect....his ears, nails, tail, tummy, face etc. were trimmed perfectly! There are a lot of lovely pet stores near our house in Los Angeles, but none of them has the selection and range of MacGregor's. They have the best curated food assortment I've found anywhere from LA to NY, and the wonderful family staff is terrifically knowledgable about what they carry -- so if you tell them what your dog is eating, they can recommend something even better. (They don't carry California Natural, for example, which frankly Fifi hated, but they recommended Fromm's, which Fifi loves and is thriving on and is the same price.) They've also got a really nice selection of toys, more imaginative and adorable than anyplace else I've been. I bought Fifi a squeaky bottle of Cabernet. MacGregor's is my favorite, from coast to coast. It's worth a trek to see it, just for the selection.

We took him to doggy day care there once a week for the duration of the summer to prepare him to be away from home, as he had never stayed away before. Between our vet and the staff at IRPR all of the preliminaries were taken care of; vaccinations, tests, etc. Clancy fell in love with the staff immediately, quite honestly so did I. They loved him and welcomed him so well. And before long he loved his visits there. When we left for the week, I was still a little concerned about how he would react to an entire week. Everything went off without a hitch. I called a couple of times while we were on the road, and those calls were not only well received, they were encouraging as we travelled so far away from him. When we picked him up he was happy and seemed to be well acclimated. They took such good care of him. After getting him home, there was no depression, no being angry with us. The transition was seamless. The next time Clancy has to stay away from home, we will definitely take him to Indian River Pet Resort. Thank you all for loving our boy while we were away. Candy Ison

As a result of two visits this summer --- I even gave them a second chance --- in which masks on customers were not required and incredibly, employees in close proximity to me were not wearing masks, I am never returning. Their arrogant, aggressive stance against masks suggests that the owners do not respect or care about their customers. They have chosen to violate the executive order on masks, and as a result my family, friends and I will choose to never go there again, because we cannot feel safe there.

Rusty and his staffkept me up to date and when I received the mower from them, it was set up the way it should've been when I first received it from the other store.
