Karen and Melissa at Ruff 'n' Tumble did an amazing job of taking care of my 3 cats when I was away for a week. I truly appreciated the care and love they lavished on my kitties. They came in twice a day to feed and brush the cats and to scoop the litter. I received adorable pictures of each cat every day, which was so reassuring! One of my cats is very shy but Karen and Melissa were still able to connect with him and send me pictures. When I came home, the kitties were content and even my plants were watered! Karen is the absolute best. I am so, so grateful to her for the first relaxing vacation my husband and I have ever been able to take because we knew our dogs (and cats) were in the best of hands. She sent the cutest photos to us so that we knew what they were up to. It was the perfect amount of checking in and letting us relax. We were really nervous about finding someone to watch our very anxious (and sometimes difficult) chihuahua Rico while we were away - he had never been boarded overnight and we were worried he wouldn't adjust well to a new environment. But from day one, Rico felt right at home! Karen kept us up to date all weekend with texts & pictures, and we were so happy to see that Rico was actually having a ball playing all weekend while we were away. Ruff 'n' Tumble is FANTASTIC. I recently moved to Stamford from NYC with my husband and our french bulldog -- we have not left our dog alone for months due to the pandemic, and were quite nervous to leave her while we went on vacation. Karen and Meagan were wonderful! They immediately put us at ease during the meet and greet when we saw how great they were with our frenchie. Karen provided walks/visits during the day while Meagan stayed overnight at our home with our dog -- they were both truly amazing and shared comprehensive updates throughout the day with photos and videos. At first, we were nervous about leaving our 3 cats, one of them elderly and deaf, while we travelled. No more worries, Karen to the rescue! Karen met us at our house before our trip and patiently listened and asked the right questions, making us feel comfortable with allowing a "stranger" into our home. This is the first time we've used this service and we were very happy with the care and attention that Karen gave to our family of feline friends! She visited our home 3 times while we were gone over the course of one week, making sure our cats were fed, provided with fresh water, and happy and healthy. Every time she visited, she sent us pictures of the cats to make us feel more comfortable. Karen also took care of our 11 year old leopard gecko, feeding him crickets, and even scooped the cat litter. It doesn't get much better than that!! Recently moved to Stamford and needed to find a dog walker in a pinch. Karen has been fantastic. We don't use her regularly, but she is always available when we need her. Karen was incredible -- positive energy and kindness showed through from the moment we met her. Our dog, Biscuit, felt at home with her immediately, and seems to have thoroughly enjoyed his stay.
