My cat had a neurological condition. She stopped having seizures all the time I had her, so I weaned her off most of the meds, then this one horrific day she could no longer walk and was seizing. At Stamford Veterinary Center, the receptionist, and vet tech were so wonderful and caring. And Dr. Newton amazing. I had to put my sweetheart down, and they all made it so much more comfortable for us both. I have dogs as well. And I am going start bringing them there. I appreciate all they did for us both. I highly recommend this Veterinary Center.

** LONG POST** I normally wouldn't post something like this…read moreand I am not looking to bash anyone in anyway. But, on Friday I dropped Luna off at Petsagogo in Research park. She's been here a number of times with no incidents... I dropped her off around 8:30 and picked her up around 4. By the time we got home we noticed her side was gashed and there was dried blood. I reached out to ask were they aware of this? Or had they seen this? As it was a Friday and it was late I decided to clean it up myself and Saturday morning I would call her vet. In the meantime the place called me back & explained they hadnt see this happen or that they were aware .. but apparently they saw blood AFTER we happened to leave, separated the dogs, but couldn't find the source. Well, that's because my poor girl wass the source of the blood... although they were very kind, they could not offer me an answer or anything in return. Fast forward to Saturday morning and we get into the vet. Luna ended up needing six staples and is coned for the next 10 to 14 days with limited activity. I have to spend these days walking her on a leash, she can't run, she can't play. She is on a strict bed rest to keep the staples in tact. I decided to reach back out to the place and let them know the outcome. Sadly the only thing they had to offer was that " Staples usually hold up." I asked them to run their cameras so that they can see which Dog did this to her, and in hopes that it doesn't happen to another dog. I know these are risks we take when we drop off our fur babies and I know we sign a waiver when doing so. My biggest concern wasn't that it happened, it was that it happened and no one knew. It happened & I wasn't told because they weren't aware which makes me wonder how often are these dogs left unsupervised? Needless to say I won't be sending her back. I'm glad she's okay and she's going to get all the TLC she needs! I just wish it didn't happen.

SONO Walkers are fantastic. Totally reliable and Gizmo loves them…read more My mother needed to move to an assisted living facility. The good news was, they allowed dogs. The bad news, my mom could no longer take care of her dog, Gizmo. I started out patching in different dog walkers using Rover. Very complicated with too many cancellations. SONO walkers stepped in to totally take care of all the dog's needs. They have not missed an appointment for months. Twice per day x 7 days per week. They also make sure Gizmo gets fed and they take him to groomers when needed. Since I live far away, this is an enormous relief to my family and my mother is so happy to continue living with her beloved dog.

I never write reviews but I felt the need after my experience with Whiskers…read more My dog has a stomach issue and requires meds 3 times a day. Before his stomach issues we always used a local dog sitter who would take dogs into his own home. Since then we have only used sitters who can sit at our house. We had a 15 day trip scheduled for September and found out 4 months before the trip that our regular sitter would be unavailable. We started researching new sitters immediately . As I am sure you know, it's not easy finding someone to trust to stay with your pet and home. Our vet recommended Whiskers and 2 other sitters. We met with the Whiskers owner (Liz) twice. Once alone and once to introduce use to the sitter she was assigning to our dog/home. For some reason she said it would be an issue to have the same sitter for all 15 days (we did not want multiple sitters - tried it once and it was a mess). Eventually we were introduced to someone who could commit to all 15 days. During this meeting we asked for references for the actual sitter. Liz seemed upset by this. She wanted to provide a reference to her company only. I wanted a phone number to speak to someone who had used the sitter she was assigning to our dog. Liz said she would get back to me. We also asked for the sitter's phone number so we would tell him when there was a package coming and to ask for an occasional photo of our dog. Liz said no - all communication would have to go through her. I reminded her that we would be in a time zone 7 hours ahead and that we needed direct communication. Again, Liz would think about it. 3 days after the meeting (4 weeks before we were leaving from our trip) we received an email from Liz saying we were not the right fit. We emailed back and called. She would not speak to us. No more contact. How could you do this to anyone? It took us months to find and agree on Whiskers. What a horrible experience. I can't remember the last time I was so upset by something a vendor did to me. The only thing I can think of is we were fired because we asked for a reference and a mobile number. I would never ever recommend a company that treats people this way. ZERO STARS!
