The staff is skilled and trained to manage the dogs with a kind and humane approach that recognizes each pup's individual needs in the context of the pack . Our pup was so shy and introverted when she started at Ruff Stuff and she has now gained so much confidence. She not only trusts the staff , she displays love and affection to them . She is so excited when she arrives and is truly satisfied at pick up . In a word AWESOME!!! My dog Charlie had an amazing time with these folks and their uber friendly pooches. The videos and photos they posted on Facebook helped our family stay in touch and know and see that Charlie was having a great time. At the end of his stay they cleaned him up with a bath so he was fresh and clean for coming back home with us. Oh and they arranged his transport to/from Squamish/ Vancouver so it was really convenient for us. This was Charlie's 2nd time staying with these folks and I couldn't imagine sending him anywhere else!! read more

Fantastic team at Ruff Stuff who made me feel so comfortable and at ease at leaving my dog there. We took a trip abroad and had never left our dog in boarding before and I was incredibly nervous about it. I loved the homely feel at Ruff stuff and the staff were amazing at making me feel reassured she was in great hands. What can I say Ruff stuff is the best! My pup has been going since he was 4 months old and they are wonderful. They help him develop good socialization habits, teach him new tricks and definitely tire him out. The staff there are extremely friendly and always give a good update on how his day went. They have separate areas in the yard so if your pup is more timid or gentle they ensure its with the right type of dogs which is wonderful piece of mind leaving my puppy there . Our two dogs stayed at RuffStuff for 5 days recently and I can't say enough good things about them. They take care to know all the important information, happily accommodate special feeding arrangements, and really care about the dogs. They texted the first day to assure us the dogs had settled in and we loved seeing the daily pics of them romping around with their new friends. And we even got a report card at the end! An absolutely wonderful place! My boy Charlie has been going to Ruff Stuff Boarding since he was 3, he is now 11! Charlie loves it there . He is always so happy to see Samantha at the pick up place and hops into the van without a worry. All the staff are so great to him, he does have a few extra needs being a bit of an older boy but they care for him like he is one of their own! They also sell great products and VERY healthy treats! Tracy and her crew are quite frankly..... just outstanding!!! Our dog Arbutus (RB) loves hearing he is headed to Ruff Stuff...he knows he gets to get pampered and loved. He comes home so happy and exhausted...we know he has had an awesome time and in the best of care. The images of him on Instagram and Facebook mean the world to us when we are sometimes hundreds if not thousands of miles away. Ruff Stuff is fantastic. We moved away in Nov. '23 and we still take our pups there when we're planning vacations or are in town for the night.
