All the rugs have tags with the prices, sizes available, material, country of origin, and if it comes in other colors. There are affordable options, higher end ones, and carpets you can have custom cut and bound for your needs. There were traditional oriental designs, modern prints, and some oddballs that didn't quite belong. What was kind of cool is this store allows you to put a deposit down and take a rug home for a couple days to see if it works in your space. They also have a fair return policy for the same reason. If I had to buy a rug in the Tampa Bay area, I would hit this place up first. The guy here was way friendlier (and less desperate for a commission) than the one we ran into at the Macy's furniture place down on Gandy.

I was told that the rugs were machine hooked. The art work was mostly original acrylic/oil paintings from national and regional artists. The paintings represented various themes from landscapes to still life. I was told that there were some prints for sale, as well. Most of the paintings were unframed. If you're bored with the limited rug selection at the 'big box' stores, I would definitely recommend that you stop by to see what they have in stock.

You can not tell the old from the new fringe. Moreover, Cyrus, Nidia and the other employees we met could not have been nicer. When we dropped the rug off, Cyrus came out and explained in detail what needed to be done and why as well as the background and history of this type rug. We must have stayed nearly 45 minutes chatting because we enjoyed each other's company so much. Service, kindness and professionalism could not have been better. They say always go with your first choice and I did. Andy thanked us for returning and for asking for him. He placed my order and just as he said, it arrived 2 weeks later. I had seen this particular rug on our very first visit but it sold, so Andy ordered it for me. Good thing I took pictures of the rug and tag! The two gentlemen that made the delivery were very nice and professional. They brought my new rug in, unrolled it, put it down and picked up the sofa for us and placed it on my new rug. It looks beautiful and really anchors my room. This store has an 18,000 sq ft showroom. I learned from Andy that they will cut and re-finish any rug for you if you need a specific size. They have all price points, all kinds of styles, colors, sizes, and all kinds of patterns. They offer machine made and hand made. They also sell Art and decorative items, but I think they are more if a area rug store. If you see an area rug that you like they will let you take it home to see how it looks! I've never heard of any store telling you to take it home and see how it looks. Rugs As Art says that they are constantly getting in new inventory. I saw to be true after returning a few times.

This store is pretty sizable and has all types of interior and patio home wares, living room, kitchen, bath home items and everything in between. Every time I have shopped here the store has a great layout and is well organized. I especially like to shop the wall decor and I have bought really nice greeting cards and gift items from here before. Check out the furnishings which are sourced from all over. You might find something you were looking for--or discover something you didn't know you wanted or needed! One time I saw a huge dinosaur which would fill up any reasonably, traditionally sized living room and on a subsequent visit it wasn't there--there's something for everyone here. Poor quality and NO customer support. In October we purchased 2 Twin XL mattresses to be used…read moretogether on a king size adjustable base. Delivery was delayed as Ashley said they received only one mattress and had to wait for the second. Once delivery was made it became immediately evident that one mattress was thicker than the other. I was tempted to refuse delivery, but was told by their delivery person that these mattresses, which were shipped rolled up in a box, take up to 24 hours to fully expand. Well, "full expansion" never occurred and one mattress remains thicker than the other. Ashley did nothing until we filed a dispute with the finance company. Ultimately, they have sent a technician to the house twice, and have confirmed, on both inspections, that the mattresses are different heights. Ashley insists that they meet specification and will not correct. This leaves one side of a king size bed higher than the other. Our recommendation is to not buy from Ashley as their quality is questionable, and their customer support is non-existent. Should you elect to proceed with a purchase, please inspect thoroughly on delivery and refuse immediately if there are any problems/defects; otherwise getting your purchase corrected will be very difficult, if at all.
