Every carpet he offers is customizable in terms of size and shape and he is even willing to order a piece for you that may have gone out of stock. He approached us right when we entered, but what really stood out is how he asked me not what I was looking for in a rug but instead what furniture I had. I walked into this place because of the good reviews on Google; however, I was not expecting to buy and simply browse. However, I showed the salesman Mohammed pics of my place and asked for the right living room 5x7 carpet along with an entrance hallway circular rug. He knew exactly the right color and size in my place within 5 minutes. He told me he was actually born in a rug which made me chuckle and seriously believe that he knew what he was talking about. He recommended two fantastic rugs which match the decor in my contemporary condo perfectly. I even returned one standard to upgrade for another handmade at a very reasonable price. We had purchased a rug from Rug Land about five years, and sadly because of an aging dog, it was damaged beyond cleaning. We decided that it was time for a new rug, and went to a couple of places near us. The experience with those store people was "here's a rug... and here's a rug.... and here's a rug..." We did not find anything that we liked, nor the experience of being treated in such a way, so decided to drive to Rug Land. It was busy and we started to browse through the hanging racks, and it seemed that every rug had some area of blue. Blue was not an option, and so we kept searching... Eddy came to help us and asked what colors we were looking for, what style we wanted... finding ways that he could help us. We said that those hanging didn't have the colors we wanted.... We needed some mix of forest green, tan, dark red. We found that we were describing the damaged rug at home! It was five years ago, so we did not have high hopes of finding something similar. Eddy listened and said that there's one rug that he knows of that has those colors, and he opened his book of rugs. There was the picture of our dream rug, the one like we had bought before, but new and unsoiled!! Wow, talk about someone who knows his business! He placed the order, and four days later we collected the rug. What a great experience. Eddy is fun, light-hearted, and keen to help those who visit Rug Land. I've never had worse service. The salespeople obviously work on commission and the guy running the floor when I waked in was very aggressive. I tried to politely shut him down so I could look peacefully but he wasn't getting the hint. Finally, I said "I prefer to look on my own, but I'll come find you if I have any questions," and thanked him for his help. He glared at me and stalked off. While I was looking through the hanging rugs, he slammed the rugs closed on me to show another customer a rug on the end. That would have been bad enough, but I was carrying my infant son, and he was also smushed. There's no way he didn't know I was in there because he looked right at us as he did it. Pity, because despite everything up to that point I was actually planning on getting a rug from him. Give your money to someone else. read more

We were recommended this place by some friends and were so glad we went! We were in need of a few rugs/runners and with the endless options they have it was so hard deciding which one we wanted. Mo and Eddie were great at explaining the quality of the rugs and educating us on the types of rugs out there. They helped us find not only super soft rugs but the perfect accent pieces to the rooms they were going in. We had a minor issue with one of the sizes (measurement error on our part) and Eddie was great at accommodating and finding the exact size we needed in the rug we loved the most. I purchased an incredibly beautiful, 10 x 13 wool rug, made in India, from Eddie, who gave me a great price and was so knowledgeable. Eddie and his assistant, Zane, delivered the rug to my home today, just as scheduled. Eddie was at my home for about 2 hours, turning and positioning the rug and moving furniture around until I was happy with the rug's placement. He then proceeded crawl around every square inch of the rug, on his hands and knees, trimming little excess tufts of wool and brushing it thoroughly until it was perfect. I am so happy with the rug. It has made my smallish living room look larger, brighter and absolutely spectacular! Eddie was a true professional and gentleman every step of the way and I had complete confidence in him and the rug he sold me. He was cheerful and went far beyond my expectations in trying to make me happy. I also spoke to Scott, over the phone, about how to care for this magnificent looking rug and he took great care in telling me all I needed to know. The store is not very spacious, but don't be put off by that. They have a large number of rugs to choose from and will give you their honest opinion, particularly if you can take them a picture of something you want the rug to coordinate with in your room. I am going to need another, smaller rug in my nearby breakfast room area and Eddie said he knows exactly which rug will look best there and coordinate with this new living room rug. I had looked many places for a rug, including online, wanting a beautiful, quality rug, yet not overly expensive, and found even more than I had hoped for at Rug Land. read more
