They've also printed a few pictures for me that needed to be on special paper. Everyone who helped me was incredibly helpful and patient. I had a project a few months back that needed to be printed on thicker paper, but I didn't know what it was called. I did my best to explain the type paper/material I wanted and they understood exactly what I needed. They even did measurements for me - I wanted the photo to look like a photo booth print, just bigger. It came out perfect!

However this publication fails to fully embrace the importance of new media. Sure Burbank Times has a website, but it looks very dated and only a screenshot of the newspaper's cover page are available to read. Almost every major newspaper I know of provides full access to complete stories on the website. Attention Burbank Times: if you want my eyeballs on your content, MAKE IT EASY FOR ME TO GET IT. Why would I go down to some post office lobby to pick up your free newspaper when almost every other newspaper I read is online? Does it surprise anybody that newspaper subscriptions are down dramatically while online newspaper viewing has substantially increased? Maybe the Burbank Times doesn't care, they are too small of an operation, or they aren't interested in increasing their presence. It's a shame because it's a decent newspaper. Instinct seems a bit like Teen Beat, with pin-up models and superficial interviews. Why not be underground and artsy, like Butt Magazine? Ignore your Instincts... or at least change?

I have been trying to file my DBA through this company for about 2 weeks now. And instead of them accommodating to me (the paying customer) I instead am accommodating to them. I just can't believe they expect me to pay them for this. I called them ready to work and get things accomplished. I don't feel that is reciprocated. I shouldn't have to ask you do do your job and follow up with you. I will because I take my business and others seriously, but this is no where near a company I want to do business with. In some ways, it's a little hard to find certain things in this bookstore due to the massive quantity of books they have all set up in long aisles. In some cases, what I find kind of fun/curious is the fact that perhaps they will have a sign telling you that a certain subject of books in a particular aisle, but, when you look down that aisle, you can find none of the books on that subject. Mostly, I believe, that's just because they've sold out of that particular subject matter. They really have a large collection by various authors from across all genres and across the globe.
