We unfortunately trusted them to manage our property when we moved out of state and wanted to rent our home out. Not only were they unprofessional in communication, they simply negelected responsibility, literally no-showed multiple consecutive city inspections, resulting in legal action that came as a complete surprise to us as owners. Move-out inspection reports were incomplete and misleading, left out significant details such as burn marks on the carpet and excessive large trash items left behind by tenants both inside and outside ($700 worth of removal). These details are not inclusive of all events. Throughout the entire 2 years we worked with them, they avoided and simply refused accountability every step of the way. In no way do I recommend trusting this group with your property if you care about it. I will anticipate the company commenting on this review to "clarify" details, amounting to further avoidance of accountability. As a response to Heather, I believe it is disappointing to see public critique. You and CJ real estate beyond disappointed us, and your "clarifications" are unwelcome. Words like "agreed upon" are so interesting following what I've written.

The fact that they provide their phone numbers for feedback is a front. They do not respond. All of their phones are full with voicemails and will only call you to "reschedule." They sent me an email thanking me for viewing a listing that I didn't even see. Heather will now read this and proceed to gaslight me by saying, the listing was rented, that I was mistaken by the appointment times, or that I could have reached out to them instead. Note, i already signed the lease agreement and the property manager brought up that she forgot to add on two charges. So, she added them on. . WoW! first mistake. Knew that day it was going to be they did not care about you, just chasing MONEY! I also had issues trying to get repairs done, three, to 4 days after creating the ticket to get a maintenance person over to fix it. The first time, maintenance showed up he did not knock, he walked in then announced himself. Again, No respect for the renter! I called the office to let them know i had mice in my house, i bought mouse traps. The office told me to go around the house to see where they are coming in at and open a ticket. That's my job?? So, they do not want to pay for maintenance they want you to take care if it free of charge. I lived with mice until i finally had enough and broke the lease. I swore to myself DO NOT EVER RENT AGAIN! I bought my home, I could of before i rented from this management company but thought i wanted a break and live a little more ease. MCG could not give me that! I lived with mice and they did not like the idea of a not cleaned stove and the shower was not fully cleaned so they took 90 bucks from me. The only thing they're good for are opening tickets, which I can do myself on the tenant portal. The first time I tried to get emergency maintenance was when I couldn't turn off the water at the washing machine wall and I had water going everywhere. I even told them they don't have to come, just have someone call me. 8 hours later.... NOTHING, NO CALL NO SHOW!! Now, we've been without air for over 24 hours and it's HOT OUTSIDE!!! My thermostat is reading 84 degrees right now. We were offered 2 window units, when we have a 3 bedroom townhouse. What about the kitchen and living room areas?? Nobody can live like this, especially when your asthmatic mother lives with you! ​​

If you…read moreare purchasing items from HSH, they are most likely stolen and you should not purchase them. This company is nightmare to deal with! We recently purchased a home that hired HSH to do their estate sale prior to moving. We purchased some items from the owners of the house. They were advised by HSH to put blue tape with "SWH" (stays with house) on all items that were not for sale. So, we, along with the current owners did exactly that. The estate sale ended and with a little over a week before the close, we did a walk through. Their resident "junk man" (in more ways than 1 ...trust me) Randy Sosa was suppose to clear out the house of all things that did not sell. What he actually did was pick all the things of value out, and left everything else he considered to be junk or valueless. Kind of defeats the purpose of a junk man, eh? I checked on the house everyday for the next several days and no one ever came to collect the rest of the items. We assumed it was a wash and decided we would just discard the remaining items ourselves as we would be the new owners very soon. We reached out to the owners, who were no longer living at the house, and asked if we could store some stuff in the garage. They were kind enough to allow that. We were advised to take the same steps we did before. Tape our belongings off with "SWH" because he was hoping that they would actually come back and get the remaining junk from the house. Although, based on their reviews, none of us were actually counting on it. So, with the help of 2 other family members, we loaded up tools, power tools, christmas decorations, power washers, crystal glassware, a generator, 2 lawn mowers, hedge trimmer, patio furniture and anything else that did not fit in our storage pod. 3 truck loads full of items, some very sentimental to us. We individually marked almost every single item with blue painters tape labeled "SWH." Everything was piled nicely into a large corner of the 2 car garage and then we took the blue painters tape and wrapped it from one end to the other several times. It was taped off better than any crime scene with large "SWH" EVERYWHERE! There was no mistaking the items were to stay with the house! It was also evident that these items were NEW and had never been apart of the estate sale. Additionally, these items would have SOLD at an estate sale. No one would leave these high ticket items for a junk man to collect and it's absolutely absurd that they think anyone is buying that! The junk man, Randy Sosa, backed a moving truck up in our driveway, hauled all of our possessions into the truck while his children ran around the property unattended. Our neighbor spoke with him the next morning and Randy had given him some long winded story about the police being called on him so he had to come over in daylight and do it. That is false! After talking with police, an officer was never dispatched to our house. Once we realize it was Randy who took the stuff, we start working with the current owners to get our stuff back. Several shady phone calls, text messages, and long winded stories later we are still waiting to meet Randy and get our stuff back. He shows up 2 days later with 75% of our stuff and wants to call it good. After I point out the several items missing from the photos he proceeds to tell me it's HSH's fault because he called Tom (from HSH) and said everything was taped off and was to stay with the house and Tom told him to take it anyway. Randy goes on and on about how he knew it was wrong to take the stuff, but he was just doing what he was told by Tom, the owner of HSH. When we spoke with Tom the night before, he told us Randy had just been pulled over for a DWI and that might be why he was being so flaky, but that "HSH was committed to making sure we got ALL of our stuff back." What a joke! Tom and Randy have continued to dodge our phone calls along with the previous owners, who have also tried very hard to help us get our stuff back. We have now had to hire an attorney! Buying a house should be an exciting and happy time, but this has truly been a nightmare for us. We are not only committed to getting our stuff back, we are also committed to making sure HSH never does this to anyone else again! They are a morally bankrupt company that has ZERO integrity!!
