They had all top brands in their selection and a treadmill for you to try your shoes on. Needed to replace a worn out pair of Brooks. Went here and received great service. I was provided about 6 pairs of shoes from different brands, including Brooks. I was encouraged to walk around, put different shoes on each foot and given plenty of time and attention before selecting a new pair of ASICS. My podiatrist recommended going to Runner's Warehouse to find a good pair of sneakers but what I got instead was a great pair of sneakers, amazing advice and not once did I feel rushed or taken advantage of. They know everything about the shoes and accessories they sell because they're runners and they've tried them. While the store looks small from the outside they have a wide variety of shoes and they have a treadmill in the store so you can take them for a test run before committing. And their prices are competitive. (Join their email list and you'll get a coupon for 10% off, if you live in the area, they regularly advertise 15% off in the local coupon book) Since I moved to Westwood this is the only place I've gone for running shoes. This place is absolutely lovely. I hadn't purchased a running shoe since 2009, and didn't like the ones I had very much. The attendant, Jason, was a sweetheart and very thorough - he looked at my feet without shoes on, made some analyses based on that, and pulled out a fair variety of pairs at different prices and listed their pros and cons. We stayed about an hour and I left feeling pretty confident, and might even go on one of their social runs. A hidden gem in River Vale ! Jason,. one of the owners, was an extremely knowledgeable, personable and most importantly, a very patient person. He spent over an hour fitting a very difficult customer....me:).
