I had a reservation for a Hot Stone Massage with Olivia while on vacation. From the moment I walked in, I felt relaxed. Olivia greeted me with kindness and then once in the room she asked questions to make sure my experience would be a wonderful one especially after hearing my concerns about past massages I have had. Running Y Ranch Resort Sandhill Spa was an amazing experience! I had Henry as a masseuse, and he did great work. I informed Henry of my lower back and hip tightness, and he did an amazing job at working those points out. To elaborate, Henry would find a tight spot, and put a tremendous amount of pressure to relieve the tightness. Right when I would want to "tap out," he would release the pressure and it felt amazing. In addition to this, we were offered essential oils during our massages. I picked the relaxation oil, and it was a very nice touch. To conclude, after my massage, I felt like a new woman! I have been struggling with tightness, pain, and overall, being uncomfortable with my back and hips. Henry helped me out so much. I would highly recommend asking for Henry! I was disappointed in my experience at the Spa and found it to be incredibly overpriced for what they advertise and what you get. I made a reservation and paid ahead of time for salt therapy room, spa, and soaking tub. The salt room is too large of space to truly have the benefit or the equipment is not outputting properly. The bath was literally a copper free standing bathtub with no minerals, salts, or jets. I paid 20$ to take a bath! The fees of this resort are all extremely high and no free Wi-Fi anywhere. read more

Went for my anniversary/baby moon. My husband's massage was great. My massage was horrible. After my massage I go to pay and told the front desk how none of my knots or back pain was addressed. My massage was a pregnancy massage but it was a relax vibe, light touch and lavender oil and not actually a massage. Anyway the front desk lady made everything difficult and didn't explain anything correctly. She should have told me, "The pre-authorization will fall off as soon as I swipe your card. It may appear as a charge but I assure you, it's only a pre-authorization." But she didn't say that so I called my bank who told me I was charged and she had to speak to the front desk to get everything straightened out. So much of a hassle and my service was a complete waste of $95.00!!! Never again. read more

My husband and I traveled to the Running Y resort for a getaway anniversary weekend. I booked a spa service to extend the relaxation. The receptionist called the day before to confirmed the appointment. However, I received a call the morning of, we are are traveling our 2.5 hr trek, making an excuse that the online booking system booked my appointment with someone in training. The receptionist informed me she will discuss the issue with her manager and will give me a call back within an hour. I received no call. My husband then checked in personally and discussed the issue and the receptionist said her manager will give a call. We still did not receive a call. We checked in around the appointment time and there was no solution. Just a canceled appointment. The management and communication system was beyond disappointing which put a damper to our trip. read more

Out of the way resort in Klamath Falls. Beautiful facility with very nice rooms, great views & friendly staff. Restaurant was also quite good. There were however resort "fees" for everything, including dining in the restaurant. I've experienced & heard of these fees, usually in big city locations & generally involving parking. Neither of those does this resort qualify as. Hence my 4 star rating. Considered giving it a lower rating because of these significant charges, but accommodations, service & overall quality I felt didn't justify hurting them... I'll pass next time I'm in the area (which I loved). read more

What a great experience! They make you feel welcome and comfortable immediately. The East / West massage was great. The facility is very clean with a relaxing aroma and vibe. The staff is easy to talk to about all of the options they offer and they will give you good advise on what makes the most sense for your needs. My husband and I booked facials at the spa in December of 2022. The spaces were very beautiful and comfortable. They feature Eminence, an excellent "clean" product company. Our service provider was very nice and we enjoyed the facials, but we had some questions about the specific procedures and time allotted for services, as they were shorter than expected. We reached out to the manager, Adrienne, who called us and asked for feedback. She was understanding and attentive, and she addressed our questions/concerns well. She also seemed genuinely motivated to improve the customer experience at the spa as a whole. Great managerial style. We loved our stay at Running Y Ranch (extra props for being so dog friendly, and for so many great servers at the restaurant). Adrienne's communication added to our positive feelings about our stay. Overall, the spa is a really nice addition to the resort experience. We'll definitely be back. read more

The aesthetics are very nice - beautiful rooms and ambiance. However price was very high for a couples massage. For the price paid you would think there would be something special-wine or soaking tub. We just got a nice massage, nothing to complain about but nothing to rave about either. We weren't even offered water afterwards. read more

Cannot say enough good things about the warm cheerful welcome by the staff at Sandhill Spa! Christina provided the best massage I've ever had (90 minute Swedish/ sports massage). Her skilled hands found and loosened every tight spot, those I knew and those I did not know about. I felt about 2 inches taller after the treatment. Next time I visit Running Y, I will prebook a couple of treatments with her. I will be back! read more

I scheduled a shiatsu message, even though I had never had one before. I like to try new things! It did not dissapoint. Christina did an amazing job. She got my sacrum back in, my hip to loosen up (it's arthritic with a bine spur) and got my jaw back into proper alignment. I cried from the relief, and removal of the pressure. My jaw does hurt now, but I would imagine it would since my jaw has been out of of alignment for 12 years. I didn't even know it was possible to do anything about it without some form of a mouth guard or braces, or some other form of Western medicine, until today. I feel like butter! I am awakened to the art and healthful benefits of Shiatsu! The room was cozy, with a lovely rustic vibe. My only reason for not giving 5 stats, is from the slight lack of ambiance that I am used to with other messages, as it was bright in the room and no aromatherapy going. Overall, the oils were great, hot towels were great, table was amazing, with all the extra comforts, and of course, Christina did me a world of good. I looke forward to coming back!!! read more

It was a terrible experience. I took my staff as a Christmas treat, nobody got the treatment they wanted because the spa did not have the massage the therapist staffed that day, even though I made reservations & arrangements 3 weeks ahead of time. The spa was not organized at all, they messed up the charges and called me at dinner demanding i give them a credit card # immediately & this was several hours after I had left there because they forgot to charge me properly. I would never go there again or recommend it to anyone, next time we will got to another spa. This is was a bad refection on the Running Y. read more

I had a wonderful experience at the spa with a 90 minute massage from Carly. She was attentive beforehand as she inquired what areas she should focus upon, and gave a great deep tissue massage for 90 minutes. Better than my excellent regular massage therapist at home (but don't tell her, please!). Highly recommended! read more

My experience here was terrible. The massage was not enjoyable. The masseuse actually caused me great pain and then tried to convince me that the source of my pain was some sort of emotional fault of my own and that in the long run the pain she caused me will be helpful to me. read more

This is not the first massage I ever had but it was the best one! Megan did a great job with just the right amount of pressure along with willingness to adjust as she moved along. She was not too chatty and did a thorough massage hitting on my favorite spots(feet) upon request. I appreciated the lack of aromatherapy, or at least the scaled down version of it; In previous experiences at other places it was too much. She problem-solved as well since there were no bolsters available - she supplied towels but they don't do the job as well. That's my only negative but it would have helped with comfort for sure. read more

After having a relaxing massage there wasn't anyone around to settle the payment. I walked up front and the young man tried to help us. He could not get the gift card applied after multiple attempts. He called the spa manager on her cell phone and she said she was in a meeting and for him to call the lodge and they would help him take care of it. When calling the front desk he was asked if she could call him back and he said no the customer has been waiting 35 minutes already and she told him to hold. She put the phone down (not on hold) so we could hear her conversation - which was personal related. She told her friend she would call them back and had someone else waiting on the phone. She then picked up our phone (after about 8 minutes) and said I will have to call you back I just had some people come in - then hung up. I personally went directly to the lodge front desk and there wasn't anyone being helped or waiting to be helped! When I told her who I was she said she was just about to call back over there. I told her it was no way to conduct business and complete bull***t that her manager wasn't available, the spa manager left no one to handle check out while she was in a meeting and that the person at the front desk would not help a person who she was told had already waited 35 minutes instead of telling the people who had just walked up (if indeed they really had) that she would be with them as soon as possible.She had no response! This place is beautiful! Great staff. Rooms were roomy and beautiful and clean. There's a wonderful 3 mile walk around the golf course. My husband and I took a walk after dinner and it was just stunning. The view is breathtaking. And after eating so much yummy food at dinner it was nice to have a place to go for a walk. We would love to come back and try more of the stuff they have to offer. read more

I had a relaxing and wonderful experience at the Sandhill Spa at Running Y Resort. My massage therapist was outstanding. She asked ahead of time where to focus attention and the level of pressure. It was the best -- and longest -- 60 minute massage I've had in years. The pedicure was icing on the cake - relaxing and complete.
