But whowee anytime my husband and I come in here we are just baffled at the Terrible customer service and the lack of employee knowledge. If u go in the small door where there is one little register, you are usually safe. Sometimes people know what they are doing there. But the main entrance for some reason its just such a pain to try buy anything, you have to remember the price of the products you are buying cause they have no idea. Sometimes you get blank stares when you ask questions, or they ask you questions.. like what I don't work here how would I know? Also the thing with the chicks.. we were told there would be a steady supply but both times we went in there they didnt have any. Also when we ordered some they said they should be here by the next week. Now they are 3 weeks out! Hhm, I think they just grab anyone who walks in the door and say oh you wanna work here, here is a shirt. Enjoy! Such a shame, cause I love the store and i'll probably continue to come anyway. But arrg! Always end up leaving so disgusted.

First is to see what new technology and products are in and the second is to catch up on this family owned business and see what's been going on. Every time I've brought my tools in to have them serviced its always come back timely, and either sharpened or repaired back as manufactured would have it. For many people I could see where they feel the price may be higher than other places but you pay for what you get and Stihl is a very quality product. Yesterday I bought an electric trimmer. I forgot the manual so went back to get it. The man who sold it to me was looking under the counter for the manual. Ed came out and was talking to that guy like I wasn't standing there. He said tell her we'll order some and let her know. "Hello I'm standing right here." He seemed grumpy and made me feel insignificant. Definitely not the great customer experience that always brings me back. :( Ed having a bad day I guess.

He was extremely knowledgeable, personable and not at all pushy! He even remembered me from browsing the previous day! He knew our needs and did well with guiding us in the right direction. Will definitely recommend JIM from Unclaimed Freight again!! Our first experience was very poor. I honestly had sworn to never shop there again! I don't even remember our salesman from the time but he was very inexperienced. We had picked out and purchased 3 twin bed sets for our kids. After paying we were told to drive around back to the garage door to load the beds. We sat back there for 20-30 mins with no one showing up to open the door. My husband walked around to the front of the store only to be told they didn't have the beds in stock and that they will be in within the week. Having to order them was fine but not the fact that we were waiting to be loaded and no one came to say anything! Communication to the customers and within the store was pitiful. Things have seemed to improve over the year. Will most likely check them out first next time if Jim is there.
