We all need time for self-care and finally made that appointment to get my eyebrows done at Rupi's. I had seen on their website that appointments needed to be made and easily made an appointment through text message. Once confirming my appointment, they had forwarded a photo of their new rules for the customers. Which is totally understandable. I was sent a link for a pre-screening questionnaire the day prior and took no longer than 2 minutes to fill out. On the day of my appointment, I had arrived 5 minutes prior as per their rules. No other customers were in the salon at the time. As soon as I entered, there was another pre-screen survey and temperature check. They sanitized their work area and seat prior to me sitting down in the chair. As always, I was very happy of the end results of the eyebrow threading. They do a very thorough job and take their time. I never feel rushed when I am there. Their prices are fair comparable to other salons. And plenty of parking behind the building and street parking. I will be back again in 2 weeks for another touch up! I highly recommend this salon for all your threading/waxing needs. read more

Ugh I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I received better threading from other places. So with COVID precautions in place, you have to text a number and you figure out an appointment time. Once figured out, she sends you a list of rules to follow which is perfect. The place is clean, it was empty, and I saw my lady wipe the chair down before I sat. Excellent. Now when it came to the services, my lady was sweet and kind. Easy to talk to. I got a simple threading and I wanted to try the eyebrow tinting as well. Sigh, I understand my eyebrows aren't the easiest to thread bc it can be very sparse but my lady threaded it thinner when I said just to clean. I felt like she was trying to create an arch when my brow just does not naturally arch so it created the middle of my brow to look thinner and unnatural. After the tinting, I know it looks more dramatic bc the dye is more prominent but it's clear where she put the dye and how it was going to look and it looked so uneven and I know my brows don't look THAT uneven. I had tinting done before and it looked amazing, but this time around at this location it just wasn't good. Would I go back? I would to try and give them a second chance maybe I just have to be more clear and explicitly say just clean and keep it thick but we'll see. read more

After over 3 months of not getting my eyebrows done, seeing that Rupi's was open and taking appointments was such a sight for sore eyes. This was my first visit here, and they were super professional and courteous throughout the whole process. As everyone already knows, the world has changed a lot, and so there are different regulations in place now for places like this. They've done a good job following all the rules, from the pre-screening questionnaires to the temperature check upon walk-in. The salon is very clean and I did see them sanitizing everything very well. The woman who did my eyebrows (sorry, I didn't get her name!) definitely took her time and did a great job. I did not feel like she was rushing at all, which was good, because there definitely was a lot of work to be done and these brows. I feel like so much weight has been lifted off my face, literally! Texting them to make an appointment is pretty simple, and they're very good with keeping up on their appointment times. I'm glad I finally got to check this place out after seeing it all the time. I went for a lamination and tint on New Year's Eve. The lady overly plucked my eyebrow. The tint did not really last and one of my eyebrows is completely botched. I will not recommend!!! read more

I honestly found this place by mistake.... was actually on my way to another threading salon and instead I pulled over and parked in the street. I actually like to stick with what and who I know.... don't like changing up however on this day I was feeling adventurous.... so I decided to give Rupi's a try and I must say it was worth it.... When you walk in there salon, the staff greet you and most times there isn't a wait... love it! The salon is bright, clean, and has a flair of modern decor. Also, they play Mantra music (relaxing), I felt like I was on a energy retreat at one particular visit.. hahaha..... I googled an eyebrow threading place and stumbled upon Rupi's which is located conveniently 10 minutes away from where I live. Plus they are super affordable ($5!!). Both ladies were busy when I arrived however they were very welcoming and inviting. I was the only person waiting (1pm-ish). Within minutes, one of the ladies seated me and began to work on my eyebrows. She was thorough and took her time. Love my eyebrows and my entire experience at Rupi's. So today I went to get my eyebrows done after taking the appointment. Highly disappointed. The 'Boss' was sitting on floor watering plant rather than attending customer. With loud music on, I could not clearly hear what she said. She mummers again then comes the assistant and asks me to fill form lying on slab. Boss you need to tell the process clearly to the customer during the covid times!!!. Fir you it might be 50th customer but for the customer it's the first visit during covid. There was no other customer. Assistant takes my temperature and asks me to be seated. No sanitation of seat was done prior to me being seated. Assistant starts threading. My brows. She took her time. Boss was whiling away the time knocking heels roaming without face mask!!! . And again and again coming and interfering to show her bossiness to assistant who seemed to be new. The 'boss' was not maintaining 6 feet distance and did not wear mask. When you are not doing my brows, just stay away. She was even talking useless unprofessional stuff rather than keeping her mouth shut and up selling. She said next time will give you only 5-7 mins as if it's me doing my own brows and it's taking so much time. Boss you only are interfering and you only are wasting time coz you don't have anything to keep you busy the whole day and pretending as if there is a long queue of customers desperate to be served by you! Then she asks if I want to give tip. I declined. The Boss is pissed off now. Then she asks me to sign on screen. I ask for pen. Boss says there is no pen and asks me to sign with finger. She didn't even wipe the screen with sanitizer/alcohol. I sign and sanitize my hands with sanitizer. Now she is more pissed off. She says no customer has asked me for pen, they all sign with finger. I said with covid around we have to take precautions. She says it's all clean as if she has microscopic eyes. She said I have to think twice next time before giving you appointment. Oh really boss!!! And me being a customer won't think twice/thrice and many more time before even thinking of coming to your salon coz of your bad service with no CDC guidelines being followed and rude unprofessional attitude and behavior!!! Just because it's Sunday and you had to come to work, it doesn't mean you will vent out your frustration on customer. Be courteous, polite and professional else leave the job and sit at home. And most importantly make sure you are following CDC guidelines with Corona virus around. read more

Great place for eye brow waxing and facials. The ladies here are super nice and welcoming. They don't talk to each other while working on you. They take their time to make sure it looks perfect. I had 2 facials here buy 2 different people and they both were awesome. It was so relaxing. They don't push their products on you to buy. I love that! The place has a weird atmosphere loud music and a weird smell. Customer service is not great either. The lady who was threading was wearing the thread in her neck. If she's so scared of covid why even open the salon?? I've been to many eyebrow places and never encountered such service.Won't be going there again. read more

I've been going here for a while since they opened and I'm very happy. They do a great job of threading for eyebrows and the mini facials are a really nice splurge. The place is very clean, well lit, and very well decorated. Really great atmosphere. All the ladies that work there are great at their jobs, very friendly and sweet, clean. I am particular impressed by the fact that they do not talk to each other while they're working, making it easy to understand them and makes the overall experience better. This salon is so clean and modern. Very friendly and thoughtful employees. They are clean. Smell clean and extremely professional. One big thing for me is the young lady (don't know her name. Shame on me). She is never in a rush what she are the other ladies are working on. They give each person their individual attention. I have been going there since Rupi's salon open and have been happy. I also get tinting done and was happy too. My daughter in law comes from Harriman NY just to get her eyebrows done and has told me how happy she is. I wish their business bloom and they stay in town for a very very long time.
