Went to The Beauty Loft salon today hoping for a relaxing self-care day, and while my stylist absolutely SLAYED my hair, the vibe in the salon was honestly so uncomfortable. I honestly didn't enjoy anything from the experience even though I paid for a luxury cut. My stylist Neschenka was amazing, super professional, talented, and clearly cared about doing things the right way. Before starting, she wanted to do a consultation first (which makes complete sense), but the woman at the front desk loudly called her out in front of everyone about being 15 minutes late and kept pushing the assistant to start me anyway. Even though Neschenka told her twice she wanted to see me first before getting me started. The tension was THICK. Like... painfully awkward. And the craziest part? I wasn't even upset or complaining. Why are you upset over 15 minutes when I wasn't. It just felt really unnecessary and unprofessional to handle things like that in front of clients and coworkers instead of privately. The whole place had such weird mean-girl energy for no reason. It's not like it's a high end salon it's a basic old lady salon. I've been to many high end salons and waited over thirty minutes. Sometimes it takes a little longer since stylists actually care about quality. Waiting is a good sign! Thankfully Neschenka handled it with grace, and my hair came out BEAUTIFUL. Honestly, she's way too talented for that environment. The front desk woman really needs freshen up on leadership skills. Cause that was NOT it! I recently visited for color and a haircut, but I was really disappointed with the experience, especially given how overpriced it was. I didn't care for the vibe at all, as other stylists were talking about a recent customer that had complained about the cost - unprofessional IMO. Further, While my stylist was very nice and I tried being friendly and asked her about herself, not once did she reciprocate or ask anything about me. I initially chose The Beauty Loft because they carried Davines products, which consistently lasted well in my hair. Davines is a premium line, and I appreciated that the salon used high‑quality products for coloring services. Reema was wonderful at understanding my needs and achieving the right color match, which is why I continued coming back. Over time, things began to change. Prices increased, and the salon switched the product line being used. I immediately noticed a difference in my color during my appointment and could tell the products had changed. Increasing prices while downgrading product quality is where the issue began. My color no longer lasted--within two weeks and after only two washes, my white hairs were already visible again. I raised these concerns with Reema multiple times, but they were brushed over. I have no problem paying for quality products; however, when a salon presents itself as offering premium services but no longer delivers that level of quality, it inevitably loses clients. To add to this experience, I called to reschedule an appointment within 24 hours and was charged 30% of the service cost because it was not within a 48‑hour window. This policy was not stated anywhere in my confirmation texts or emails. While I paid the fee, the lack of transparency combined with the decline in service quality has resulted in losing me as a client permanently. read more

Unscrupulous Salon Originally I was told the service would be $130/hr , During the consultation, the stylist looked at my hair and said it was not as bad as we thought. (hair color correction ) and I was told it would take about 4hours. So I assume cost would be $520 with tax during actual appointment, the stylist kept saying things like "I will leave this on little longer"without updating me on how much longer it would be or how much more it would cost the total service ended up taking 5hrs and 30 min and cost $772.50 I was also charged for a hair mask, which I did not consent to and was not told would cost extra -this also took extra time. They agreed to refund the hair musk charge, which was $55 without a service fee , The $130/hr fee ended up being $139/hr. They said had to charge $139/hr for 5.5 hours because they could not charge for just half an hour. The owner said prices may vary during consultation, I was 16 at the time and did not understand , and the owener wasn't even there. Not many people can afford to pay. nearly $900(with tip) for a service like this. It's not normal for a salon to charge that much without giving clear heads-up. I will never go back to that place again. It was a very painful lesson. At some salons, you have to set a budget upfront- otherwise, they assume they can take as much time as they want since they get paid hourly and assume everyone can afford it. read more

I've had good and not so great experiences, today wasn't great. I have darker hair and understand it sometimes takes longer for my hair to "take" a lighter color however, my hair was literally two different colors once blown out. For reference, I booked a single process and glaze. Once I mentioned it, a few other stylists chimed in to say, "you can't really tell...it's because the light is hitting it" firstly, these stylists didn't even interact with me prior but now want to be part of a conversation i was having with one other person? They didn't acknowledge me before but now have all the time to give an opinion? Also, what am I to expect once I'm in the sun? It was dismissive and a little absurd to think it would only be a problem depending on light. Even the stylist who did my hair agreed it was noticeably lighter at the roots. The second glaze was repeated by someone interning to correct it, not the level 4 stylist I booked with. I can only assume that was the case because of time constraints but still, I shouldn't be expected to leave with an uneven process and then like I'm asking too much or taking their time. My hair now feels dry and does not feel nor have the look of a fresh salon blow out. I didn't want to say anything else while I was there, just smiled and left. I love Cameo and her personality but feel the difference when she isn't there. I see others' reviews of how much they love the vibe but for the most part, I haven't experienced that. The 3+ hours seem to drag when there's literal silence with your stylist (other than the occasional, "move up, forward") necessary dialogue. No one has been mean but certainly not the vibe others have described. The place itself is cute and chic and I've come a few times as I first mentioned-had good and not good experiences. I hesitated whether or not to leave a review and no shade but left disappointed and now in search of a new salon. read more

This beauty salon is an absolute gem! The interior design is so beautiful, so bright, and the staff are just phenomenal people. I felt so comfortable from the moment that I sat in the chair. It gets better... The owner of the salon also owns "Cozi Cafe" right next door. After I sat down, they asked if I wanted anything from next-door, and also mentioned some special drinks that they have, which I of course excepted the offer. Try the "Yoda". The workers next door delivered my coffee while I was enjoying an amazing blow dry with Karina ( You're able to have you pay for whatever your purchases are from the cafe, at the hair salon) I cannot even begin to express the amount of gratitude, respect I have for this business. I walked in for a blow dry and was paired with Karina, and yes folks... love at first sight exists. She did the most beautiful blow dry on my hair. I typically after a blow dry service will go back home, and retouch pieces. That was not the case whatsoever with my experience today. Karina was awesome! She's so personable, and gave me one of the best shampoos I have had in legitimately years ... and I enjoy testing out hair places. I highly recommend this salon!! You can't go wrong getting a service done by any of the wonderful people at The Beauty Loft. I mainly go to Cameo, but have seen Perri's intense color transformations and have received a wonderful cut and color correction from Lea! These ladies know what they're doing! I always book my next appointment while I'm there, so I never miss a chance to catch up with the girls and hear about the next exciting thing Cameo is bringing to the loft. Well I came with great hopes and was utterly disappointed, I liked the owner of the salon C and thought she was sweet and kind, that all changed when she colored my hair and cut my length, not only does her style and professionalism lack but her over all concept of what looks good and doesn't look good is slim to none. Make sure your personal style reflects the ability of your stylist and they understand what you really don't like more than what your looking for. You are better off coming into her Salon showing her what you don't want instead of what you do want. read more

This place is a gem! I am very particular about my hair color looking natural. Cameo was welcoming and took her time talking to me about my needs for cut and color. I have received many "hair" compliments in the past few days. My blow out is lasting more than 3 days- for my hair type... amazing! As a plus, they are opening a Cafe next door! The salon is very nice and so is the staff. I booked an appointment last minute for a single process with a level 2 stylist . The description says nothing about it being JUST a root touchup . When I got to the salon they informed me that a single process is only for the roots and I would have to also pay for a glaze. I said ok because I did not want my hair 2 different colors . Then while processing they informed me that I had booked with a level 2 and she is a level 4 so I would have to pay that difference also .When they finished they asked if I wanted a blow out too( I figured it should have been a given) but they seemed like they wanted to get out of there so I said no . As soon as I left they shut the lights off at the salon which was 7pm when the hours online say they close at 8pm. They did a great job but I wish the website was a little more clear about what each service entailed and would not have let me book with a level 2 stylist when I was going to receive service from a level 4. I am not the one to complain. I am extremely grateful for being able to get my hair done . But paying $110 for one all over color of black and leaving with a wet head, does not sit right with me . read more

I went here a few times. My spouse came here a few times. It's nice, the owner is overwhelmed and seems to constantly bite off more than she can chew and talks about how overwhelmed she is . She's done a lot with the place but she is rolling her eyes when people call to get a service by her ... because she is so overwhelmed. She does good work, hence why she is so sought after. She knows her stuff. She politely takes moments and turns them into teachable ones when one of her staff is doing something wonky. You can tell she loves what she does and she's good at it. I would def recommend Cameo, but maybe after a few months so she can breathe easier and be excited for every client again. Prices are very reasonable. It's nice to see a young woman bring such value to our town. My spouse and I won't be returning because it's tough to get an appointment with her and we need someone who has more time/availability for their clients. We hope to see her bloom and blossom and kick some serious butt ! read more
