I like that you can check out books from here and if you need to, they can be returned to other libraries.

They have numerous rooms for meeting spaces, lots of computers, and multiple info. desk areas where people are available to help you if you need it. They also have a lot of resources for audiobooks online. The only issue is some of them can take a while to become available...Overall, I am a little bit sad I am just now coming to visit this library! I feel like I have been missing out! You can use the printers with a library card for 10 free prints a day (they are $0.15 each so up to $1.50/day). I will say just like with any place you need to be aware of your surroundings! There were a couple of times I was making sure I kept an eye out, but luckily there are a lot of people around as well as a security guard that makes his rounds. This made me feel super safe! The restrooms were also relatively clean!

We are new to Lewisville and my wife recently went in to get our library card. We had driven by the…read morelibrary on multiple occasions and thought it looked like a beautiful facility. My wife assured me it is just as impressive in the inside. The library has special events this summer which include the stories of three bakeries in the community: Louie and Honey's Kitchen, Ava's Cupcakes and Black Mountain Chocolate. Friday Family Films is monthly family event and they also offer Ongoing Adult Programs such as: "Hook and Loop Group" which is a monthly gathering of folks who like to knit, crochet, embroider, and such; "Yoga for Beginners" which is a free session of yoga offered both in-person or virtually; "Color & Coffee Group" allowing some coloring and socializing with the library providing coloring sheets, pencils and gel pens along with coffee and tea; "Witchy Washi Crafters" which is an in-person event where folks create chalkboards (seating is limited to 10). She also learned there are two book clubs, "Tuesday at Two" and "The Friends Book Club", which allows folks to join either in person and virtual. To say we are impressed is an understatement.

The cleanliness of the facility, the friendliness of the staff and the multitude of offerings they have for the community are always on point. Upon entrance to the library, there is a small hallway where you can purchase old books and magazines too. I picked up 3 Spanish-themed magazines to help me brush up on Spanish and they were just $.25 a piece. Talk about a great deal. Stop by and check it out sometime. The Greensboro Public Library - Kathleen Clay Edwards Branch is a lovely library, tucked away…read morebetween some of the greenway walking paths here in the "gateway" city. The setting is so serene and unexpected that I almost thought I had taken a wrong turn when I went to meet someone there. However, when making my last turn, there it was in all its archival glory. The Greensboro Public Library - Kathleen Clay Edwards Branch is simple and stunning all at once. It has mid-century modern architecture, with well-kept grounds nestled in the forest. Since I was at the library for a meeting, I didn't get to explore any of its collections. However, I loved seeing the long, welcoming entranceway with its bench and wall of plaques. Once I entered, there was a rotunda with a beautiful mural on the ceiling, and smiling staff to greet me. The place was clean and had that familiar smell of old pages and adventures waiting to be read. There were separate study stalls, meeting rooms, a Children's Reading Room, a Computer Room, and a Sun Porch (which is where I planted myself). This library was different than any I have been to, with greenery all around it. It was very peaceful, inside and out. I will definitely be back, and it is a Kiesha Speech-recommended library, for sure. Enjoy!

Needless to say it was a beautiful library. They offer several classes to encourage community bonds and growth. I would definitely visit again.

Lewisville is a quiet lil town with a few locally owned businesses, 2 major grocery stores and an…read moreamazing elementary school. Lewisville neighborhoods are filled with quiet friendly ppl. It's the best place to live if u want not to be bothered a quick drive to the city and a great place for kids to grow up. i feel safe walking the streets, everyone waves.....I love it here. Plus the town provides free entertainment in our town square amphitheater on weekends with movies, plays or town events. Christmas parade is a grand event where tourist come from towns afar to catch candy in the streets as locals showoff cars or promote business. It's just a wonderful wonderful place.

We are not as big as our sister village of Clemmons. They are the fru fru around here. But Clemmons doesn't have Friday night in the park. We have a little amphitheatre and we show movies on Friday nights. A few weeks ago we had our beach celebration (i refused to shag) with tons of sand dumped on the streets. The July 4 fireworks attract people for miles (and their trash). I miss San Francisco but I kind of have a crush on this little town. Hell I might even run for mayor.
