It was the fact that the right side of the door on the handle was sharp, to the point it sliced my husbands arm as he pushed against it with his arm to go outside. This wasn't in the corner or hinge if the door handle, this was ON the handle itself. Someone needs to look at this! And especially I like their front-line staff. All that was true in this store also. I had a terrific conversation with a tall, slender fortyish woman with long blonde hair, whose name I did not get. I had a totally charmed interaction with young Tricia, who had terrific customer service skills. I really enjoyed telling her that the radio stations that Circle K stores tend to use come from IHeart Radio, broadcasting from my long-standing town of Asheville North Carolina - and that, since my little service Chihuahua Panchita and I have been traveling for a year and a half in my camper van, I even one night camped in the big field out behind the iHeart station in Asheville. That was a lot of fun to talk about with her. The reason I gave the store only a three out of five was because of the store manager. I don't know what's going wrong in the Circle K system, but this is the second Circle K manager who seemed totally lacking in customer service skills. This guy, named Trent, was all business and totally devoid of charm. That was also the case with a guy name Aaron who was the manager of the Circle K store on Bardstown Road in Louisville Kentucky. I think Circle K needs to take a good, hard look at who they promote to management. When so many of the front-line staff are really super, they ought to be able to find managers who are both efficient and also gracious with customers. I bet that tall slender woman with the long blonde hair could be a great store manager. She had tremendous poise and self-confidence and I bet she would have the right blend of a efficiency and customer service chops.

The cashier handed me my bags and I left the store. When I got home, I realized that one of the bags I was handed was actually someone else's As it had items that I did not purchase. I should have stayed home and made dinner but I decided to get back to the store as soon as possible to let them know that I had a bag that I didn't purchase. When I arrived at the store, there was a different and very unpleasant manager and cashier working. I let the manager know about the mistake. By the way she looked at me, you would have thought she was accusing me of theft. She had a nasty look on her face and never even thanked me for promptly returning this bag. I heard another cashier ask her if that was the bag that they had been looking for. With a snear, she said "yes, it showed back up" You are welcome Hobby Lobby!! I was honest and returned the bag promptly and wasn't even treated with basic respect not to mention gratitude. I thought you were a Christian store? One of your employees sure wasn't very Christian like today !! If something like that ever happens again, I may just think about chucking it into the trash and saved my precious gas money.
