I shopped at this Hobby Lobby location today, May 9th 2024…read more As I was in the check out lane at 3:50 pm, I was making small talk with the cashier and the store manager who were both very pleasant. The cashier handed me my bags and I left the store. When I got home, I realized that one of the bags I was handed was actually someone else's As it had items that I did not purchase. I should have stayed home and made dinner but I decided to get back to the store as soon as possible to let them know that I had a bag that I didn't purchase. When I arrived at the store, there was a different and very unpleasant manager and cashier working. I let the manager know about the mistake. By the way she looked at me, you would have thought she was accusing me of theft. She had a nasty look on her face and never even thanked me for promptly returning this bag. I heard another cashier ask her if that was the bag that they had been looking for. With a snear, she said "yes, it showed back up" You are welcome Hobby Lobby!! I was honest and returned the bag promptly and wasn't even treated with basic respect not to mention gratitude. I thought you were a Christian store? One of your employees sure wasn't very Christian like today !! If something like that ever happens again, I may just think about chucking it into the trash and saved my precious gas money.

This is a moderately large and orderly antique/collectible shop. There are some large items…read moredisplayed at the front (a baby grand piano and a number of old gas pumps), but otherwise, the shop is arranged in rows of booths. I was impressed that the booths were all well kept, not filled with junky stuff that someone would find at a flea market or garage sale. Well, maybe some of that stuff, but generally there was a better quality of items than I've seen at a lot of places. There seemed to be a fair amount of furniture and oil paintings. There were Coca-Cola and some Barbie items too. However, the number of pure antiques was relatively low. And some of the items were well worn, so maybe not quite collectible, but the pricing seemed to reflect the condition. Seems like a decent place to stop if you enjoy browsing through these places. Columbus, Indiana. November 11th, 2026 I had a interior door and storm door installed, today is…read more5/30/2026 and my issues are still not resolved. On day of install I noticed a terrible scratch on the plate that is attached to the storm door handle. Installer took pictures, he said, and sent to Lowes for a replacement. The interior door was very hard to open and close after install. I had to shoulder the door shut after I got inside to get the deadbolt to lock. The interior door handle became loose after months of my having to pull hard to get the door to lock and unlock. Snow, rain ,it didn't matter, I had to put all of my stuff down to lock my door going out because it took both hands to accomplish the task, one hand pulling hard while the other hand turned the key. I received a partial fix on the storm door, handle and plate replaced, but the parts didn't match up and it became hard to lock. When a different installer came out to look at the storm door he informed me that my storm door was missing parts! Months later, the initial installer, replaced the entire storm door handle set (that is now broken a month or so later, it took pliers to get it unlocked the other day and it hurts your knuckle to open and close the lock; it doesn't fit in the space between the frame and the lock) he informed me that when he picked up the storm door back in November to install my doors, the bottom of the box for the storm door had a hole in it and parts were missing out of it. He said he took photo's and sent them to Lowes day of install, but there was no follow up. Why he didn't let me know about this in the first place I don't know. Why someone was taking parts out of my box I'm sure I don't know (I think that is called stealing). Now months later, interior door is fixed (mostly) and I can get in and out, with out a fight with the door and dead bold. After many, many calls, an email I thought went to corporate but it was customer care who have been little to no help with each call came promises to call back, stay with it till it is resolved or email me...I now have parts on order to replace what is missing on the storm door. When I went in to Lowes today to ask if a new door handle to match the first one was on order as well and encountered Mr. Steve and his condescending attitude, I found that there is no replacement door handle on the order. Even after my call to customer care on 5/28/26 to inform them I could not get into or out of my front door due to the lock on the storm door being stuck in the locked position, there was no sense of urgency with them to resolve that issue, I was told someone would be out in June to resolve that (so glad I found the pliers worked). The fact that I could not get in or out of my door was of little concern to them. After I left the store today knowing the door handle is not on order I called customer care yet again (the number of times I have called them in the nearly 6 months is too many to count) after a long wait the lady that answered today let me know that she was very thorough and found no record of a door handle having ever been paid for for the storm door. Great, now where did door handle number 1, the good one that unfortunately had a terrible scratch on it, come from in the first place? And where did the second door handle that recently broke come from? Miss Thorough tells me that I need to go in and pay for the door handle I had in the first place when I started this miserable journey if I wanted that door handle! Turned out after she got even more thorough she found that a door handle came with the storm door that had a hole in the bottom of the box that was picked up by the installer nearly 6 months ago. The door handle that comes with the door I found out is like the 2nd door handle I had installed which is now broken. So, someone took my door handle with the other missing parts from the box with the hole in it. Where door handle #1 even came from is now a complete mystery. What is it with this store? No more, I will go anywhere but here when my fridge finally gives out and anywhere but here when I replace my carpet and anywhere else before I buy anything but dirt...they can't screw that up I don't think. How will this all end, no idea, I have a one year warranty so we have another 6 months to find out. This is not acceptable customer service, where does it end, where does the accountability come in, its not like I can get a refund for the door and just put the old one back...Oh, and when I came home today, my interior door is not shutting without an extra push and a loud click, it is hitting somewhere...so now there is that. And my yelp account must have been opened when I was in Utah, let me be clear, this is for Columbus Indiana Lowes!

Oh I definitely recommend taking your time and checking all end caps and clearance isles for some good deals!
