I've never ordered anything from the cafe. Patrons have told me it's good and affordable. The store is well organized, extremely clean, and offers several fresh grab and go items. They also offer wine and beer options. The drink cooler is large with a terrific variety of drinks. Fresh cut fruit is available with many healthy options you don't have to wait for. Many folks are ordering sandwiches, breakfast items, and a variety of other options available. Indoor seating is available to enjoy your purchases. The patio area has tables with umbrellas. Being that it is located in a gas station, there are an adequate amount of spots to park. The place does not have a grill, fryer or stove. All their food is refrigerated and/or microwaved. They serve items such as burgers, pizzas, pretzels, salads, subs, phillys, wraps and tacos. They also serve breakfast sandwiches. All the drinks that a usual gas station has are at your disposal to choose from. The pizza looked like it was self serve, as I saw a customer get her own slices and take it to the front register. I ordered one of their famous gyros. The meat is pre cut, pulled out of the fridge and nuked for a few minutes. The pita is swallowed up by the meat. There is so much meat. It could make 2 or 3 gyros out of it. I had to eat the meat down to get to the pita. The gyro was warm, but you could tell that it was not fresh and was reheated. It was flavorful though and really filled me up. I had it for lunch and ended up skipping dinner. I also had some of their potato salad, which they got out of a big container in their refrigerator. It was ok, nothing special though. To top my meal off, I got one of the large chocolate chip peanut butter cookies that were starring me in the face when I was ordering. It looked a whole lot better than it tasted. I definitely would not get one of those again. Even though there was a small dining area available. It did not seem very cozy and still felt like you were eating in. a gas station, so, I decided to take my food to go. The staff there were friendly enough and very welcoming. I was stuck between giving this place a 3 and 4 star rating, but ultimately decided to go with the 3.

Mind you, the substitute products (2) only retailed for a total of approx $9.00. $5.99 x2 BUT these items were actually buy one get 50% off. The advent calendar was over $24.99. Thankfully, an honest and also embarrassed employee explained that the manager will NOT update the website that they are indeed sold out of that advent calendar. Instead, the manager has instructed the employees to "substitute" the Advent calendar with the replacement items instead and place in bag for customer pick up (mind you, we already ordered for pickup online AND paid for the product online b/c Avon CVS showed it was available!) Obviously, this was infuriating and ILLEGAL! The poor employee was so apologetic and stated she couldn't challenge the manager and just had to do what they were directed but that they knew it was wrong to do business this way. The manager wont update the website this type of advent calendar was not available. I applaud the employee that was honest and we will be filing a complaint with Corporate about this manager so that this employee doesnt experience retribution from a manager that is obviously crooked and Corporate needs to be aware to watch for any other criminal or fraudulent actions within this store.

The restrooms are clean-ish (for a gas station) and the retirees that gather here any given weekday morning are adorable and pleasant and give it a sort of homey-small-town atmosphere. There is almost always at least one flavored coffee that is out of service (and I really wish the employees would put an "Out of Order" sign on the affected dispenser so I don't end up with a cup full of foamy, flavorless water. Again.), but there are always plenty of other flavors to choose from.

Again, Brian at Roudebush recommended a way for me to manage this issue over time with little cost me. All this said, the staff was upfront, didn't blame others for past repairs and ultimately addressed my issues. Their price was very competitive and reasonable.
