TSC has given me the run around for the past three months claiming they do not have the missing hardware. The website says there is two more units in stock and the last purchase looks like some inventory that has been stored in the weather for years as the gate was stiff from rust and the tag was faded. There was also forklift damage to the last two units shipped from my local store. I contacted two other stores and the agents tried to sell me another complete poultry pen, and no one at Tractor Supply has attempted to resolve the problem of selling incomplete merchandise which may have safety concerns when not assembled with the proper stamped steel clamps (not provided). I'm really disgusted because I ended up purchasing a dog kennel as alternative housing for my poultry. After a month, this poultry pen was assembled with ZIP TIES because my broiler chickens were outgrowing the pet kennel. I understand the economic conditions today and the store is not replacing merchandise that does not sell. I'm the one who is buying all these poultry pens and I got shafted by employees in a decentralized chain store to meet the sales objectives. If the customer does not matter to management? This customer is buying poultry feed and supplies from other merchants. The same is true with beekeeping equipment, its too expensive from TSC.
