After I moved from the area I honestly figured I wouldn't find myself back at Mid Rivers to go but today ended up doing just that as my husband needed to go to another store there. I have wanted a Monstera for quite awhile and happened to see one that looked really healthy and full in the window display. I was glad that I stopped in! The owner immediately said hello upon us entering the store and let us know she was there if we had any questions. The prices are amazing for the quality of product she has. It wasn't too long ago monstera were hard to find and triple the cost, especially for the size, fullness, and finistrations the lot of Monstera has. I also saw a few syngonium (possibly strawberry) and really nice antherium and so many golden Pothos. Had I found a scindapsis exotica or pearls and jade or marble queen I would have walked out with several more. I do live in an area that has several amazing small greenhouses so I won't honestly go out of my way to drive across St Louis to St Charles but next time I am visiting family or find myself at Mid Rivers for a specific reason, I will certainly stop back in and support this cute little gem.

Same goes for his sister Jen or his salespeople. The place has had numerous complaints and has financial problems. Yes please) and Ms. Hilarious Hickory Sweet Hot Bacon (cupcake...yup) but there are 31 more for me to try. I got a cart, found my item, and did a little shopping. The Christmas merchandise was almost gone (2 days after Christmas) and the Valentine's merchandise was starting to take its place. At first I assumed it was the fault of these 2 staffers -- in a hurry to get off work. But then I realized this was happening all over the place. That could only mean that the MANAGEMENT had rushed them because (of course) staffers cost money. While there's nothing wrong with a manager trying to be efficient, there is when customer service is sacrificed to do so. This was a lovely reception held outdoors with a stunning sunset and delicious food. Too bad management was penny wise, pound foolish and thus inconsiderate of the wedding party's guests.
