    Fried artichoke with garlic aioli

First visit here and will definitely return! Very nice outside venue with a variety of beer and seasonal drink selections. We tried a variety of appetizers, beers, watermelon sangria and lavender mules. Charcuterie board, fried artichokes, cheese curds, pita and hummus.

Such a special place to hang with friends and make memories. It just has ambiance Great selection of wine, beer, and mixed drinks and the most eclectic music I've ever heard. My favorite is the pretzels and cheese, but the charcuterie board was delicious too. Everyone providing the service was friendly and very nice.

Cheese plate for two. Plus pear fizz.

I loved it here!! Such a cute find. I was impressed they offered free tastes of the wine (seems like most places these days want to charge 15 or 20 for a tasting, as long as they throw in a branded wine glass I suppose they think it's fair!). The bartenders were really helpful and kind. They checked the ingredients of the pear fizz cocktail for me as I have a fruit allergy and seemed genuinely concerned about it. My friend and I split the charcuterie. As she is vegetarian, they swapped out the meat for extra cheeses, and when we ran out of baguette, they gave us a baggie of crackers. So accommodating! Also, it doesn't show in the picture, but the plate included whole roasted garlic, which was an excellent spread accompaniment. I definitely want to come back and try other menu items. Finally, and I'm not knocking a star since it seems most outdoorsy wine places just have this, I'll note there was live music, which personally I don't love the loud noise when I want to chat, but the band did take and honor requests.

Our daughter had her wedding reception here. It was dreamy! We had so many guests comment on how cool the venue was... the ceremony in the woods, the happy hour in the woods, the dinner at the main Venue, the s'mores by the fire....

Out of the way wine garden with fun treehouse atmosphere and smaller crowds is sure to please. We enjoyed a bottle of their Norton Renaissance, a dry Missouri wine that was excellent! As Arnold used to say, I'll be back!

    The three hostesses!

We held a Bridal Shower there and it was the perfect spot for it. We held it in the upper tree deck and it was such a beautiful spot. Truly a hidden gem! Simeen and all the staff were incredibly helpful. The food is phenomenal! Everyone who came talked about how much they love this for their new spot of wineries. Thank you again for allowing us to throw our shower here! All of us will be returning!

This hidden little winery gem in Wright City is a great find! We are looking forward to warmer weather when we can sit outside in the "treehouse"! But the inside is very pleasant and inviting!! They have a basket of board games to play as well! We will definitely return!

So original! Beautiful rustic setting right by the city. Wines are fantastic!! The Vidal is dry yet full of flavor. The Catawba is a beautiful blush color that's sweet and refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. Didn't try the food yet, but heard good things. Oh and the watermelon sangria was so yummy, could drink that all day. We will return! Also have a 'wedding in the woods' venue that reminds me of the Renaissance Faire. A bridal suite cabin, and a groomsmen treehouse too! (coming soon for rental on air bnb we were told)

What a great place with lots of extra surprises. We got there on a Saturday afternoon and there were a few people at the counter tasting their wines. They gave you a free sample in a tiny plastic cup. The woman serving was very personable and knew the wines. We chose a bottle of the Semi Bianco and then explored the place. We first sat on the swings for two which was a great way to start our time there. Once we had enough of swinging, we went upstairs to explore the tree house. We first sat on a comfy couch and then the couple who were sitting in what we thought was the best seat (see picture) perched above the patio, left. After a little while (and a little wine) we then decided the hammock would be a good idea. And it was. What a perfect place to end our lazy day of exploring local wineries.

    Wedding in the Woods ceremony

Wow. Just wow. I don't even know where to begin. I love this venue and it was soo beautiful! But sadly my experience here with Simeen was nothing but a disappointment. I got married here on Aug. 26, 2023. My 3 month, 6 month, and 9 month payments were all wrong. In the beginning, she gave me the 25% down payment amount and so that's what I should be paying for 6 month and 9 month, right? But in the middle of my 9 month payment she sent me a message saying the payments are wrong and had to pay even more than what she told me in the beginning when I booked the venue. She never gave me invoices. I didn't know she sent out invoices until she mentioned something about it so I told her to send me invoices for when I paid. John was the one that came out and gave me a tour. She was supposed to but never showed up. So he told me great things about the place and he was nothing but nice to me and showed that he actually cared that I'm getting married and using his space and it was wonderful! He was telling me about the shuttle taking guests to the nearest hotels and dropping them off after the reception and then talking about the bar and what they have available. But when I talked to Simeen, the shuttle doesn't go anywhere but there and they only have 3 beer choices and 3 wine choices to choose from. So, please don't tell a guest one thing and then say something else completely different. And by the way, we had more beer choices and wine choices to choose from on our wedding day. When I met Simeen, we met about 3-4 times and she didn't acknowledge me that I was there. You would think it's your special day and you paid soo much money for this venue, that for her to not have your full attention and not respect you is just bizarre to me. She also called me Sonya and said my wedding date wrong, so that's when you know she doesn't have a clue what's going on or just doesn't pay attention. The best for last. The pictures you see, that's what they did for the ceremony. It was raining that morning and I was freaking out about everything. I was stressed and Simeen just didn't want to help at all. Now, in the contract it states that there is a $300 covered canopy fee for the ceremony area, but it never said anything about giving a 48hr notice. So I guess they rent out that big canopy from another vendor and they need that 48hr window to tell them and let them know. Well, I wasn't informed about this until on the day of my wedding where I've been nothing but stressed already. So, they came up with little tents like these. I didn't hate them, but it was just not what I envisioned. My photographer had to think differently now as to where to do the family photos and the bridal photos. But we eventually figured it out in the end. I'm glad we got a hold of John and he helped set those up. Simeen did nothing to solve this issue. I only saw her once at my wedding and that's the only time I want to see her again. I don't recommend anyone going through Simeen. I would definitely go through John since he is the owner and is actually communicative with you, responsive, and respects you.

    watermelon sangria

Absolutely amazing service, food, and drinks. The staff is beyond amazing and will go to any lengths to make your visit enjoyable. Also, the watermelon mint sangria is amazing!!!!

    Amazing hand built fountain.

It was also pouring unexpectedly but that's no ones fault, obviously. The venue was clean but acoustics does make average conversation sound loud that I had trouble hearing the person next to me or the bartenders. I did the non reserve wine sampling which allotted 5 samples for $10. Many of which were made on property with Missouri wines and some west coast offerings. I tend to go for sweeter wines and found my selection to be quite palatable with two standouts as my favorite with the Schitts and Giggles and Lauren's Sweet Vignoles. I really would've preferred the tasting to be separate from the big room and more intimate as to learn more about the wine. Once poured, I was largely left alone standing at the bar where they only offer the sampling and so I felt a little awkward. One gentleman poured rather large portions while the other gave the appropriate amount. A water chaser would've been ideal between both to cleanse the palate. I do think a more intimate setting for sampling is preferred so I am not competing with the rest of the room and I am able to ask questions. The bartenders poured and left and you were on your own!

Despite all of this activity next door, the restaurant is unaffected, both in access, parking, and view. Despite being near the highway, the view from a booth is not bad, with some rolling hills in the distance. The service was timely and attentive. We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. The interior has a dark steakhouse feel with a lot of wood materials and the edges of whiskey barrels on the wall as decoration. A great environment to unwind, have a drink, and fully enjoy the meal. The food itself was exactly as ordered; a medium-rare ribeye with creamy risotto and broccolini. I don't frequent steakhouses very often, so I may or may not be back for that reason alone. It did make for a pleasant and memorable birthday dinner!

Our server was very attentive and did a great job taking care of our group. The only hiccup during the visit was timing--we arrived shortly after a busload of guests, which slowed down the kitchen a bit and led to a longer wait for our food. That said, the service remained strong throughout. For lunch, I ordered the combo with a Green Apple Cashew salad and the 1/2 World Traveler Reuben, made with house-smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Thai Thousand Island, and black Russian pumpernickel. Both the salad and sandwich really hit the spot--fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. This was my eighth visit over the past three years, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. Even with the slight delay this time, the consistency in food quality and service keeps me coming back.

If you're looking for a winemaking family who is passionate about the details - down to the genetics and ancestors of their grapes - then look no further! We would have loved a tour, but they were booked for the day (go early to make sure you get a spot!), but the tasting was a great second option! For $15 you try six wines from their very large list. They'll teach you about each one too. If you like bourbons or whiskey, I'd highly recommend their Cream Sherry - it won 12th best American wine at the Decanter Wold Wine Competition (The world's largest and most influential wine competition) in recent years (just enjoy slowly - it's 19%!!). Also, they make their wines very affordable! From $11-$40, everything is in reach! (They do have a $75 reserve Norton on the list as of May 2026.) You can enjoy the restaurant on site, shop alllll the wine accessories, relax on their patio above the hills of vines, play a game of corn hole, and pose for a few photos. Several other couples who arrived around the same time were welcomed immediately, but we were left standing there without any acknowledgment. It was uncomfortable and made us feel overlooked in a way no quest should experience. I can't say why we were treated differently, but the contrast was hard to ignore. Because of the lack of attention, we ended up buying only a few bottles- even though we originally planned to purchase two full cases. We also chose not to buy anything from the stores afterward, which is unusual for us, but the experience at the beginning made it difficult to fully appreciate the visit. For a winery with such a strong reputation, I expected a much more welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. This was a one- star experience for us, and we won't be returning.
