Was signed up with them for years, and thr only job interview I was ever sent on through them, was offered to me by the employer, whom told me to give a week or less notice to my then, current employer whom I had worked for for 15 years, and told me they needed me asap. I luckily held off on that part, since the Mon after my interview was a holiday, to then fibd out, by Tues, the employer had hired someone else. Rush had no issue this happened or apology, even when I told them I could had been incomplete because that that screwed up employer they work with, if I had followed their demand to quite my job with no appropriate notice. read more

Definitely not LGBTQ friendly. My partner reached out to them twice for assistance over several years and they have chosen to ignore her each time. Their stupidity. She is a decorated military veteran with many years of experience in an eclectic array of careers. Anyone would be honored to have someone with a genius IQ in addition to all of these other attributes working by their side. Stay away from this waste of time facility. read more

Yes very inviting but then in the end after first visit there not interested in helping you stay working . I was literally told that there getting my messages but just have nothing for me . I have been in retail for over 15 years. The majority of that time has been in management. We have always heard of temp agencies and throughout my years, we have hired from temp agencies. I will be honest, I never a fan. Today changed my mind. At least about Rush Personnel Services in Chico. The location and building were amazing. The interior was clean, warm and inviting. Ashley was amazing. She was at the front desk and was the most friendly and professional person I have met in a long time. If I had my own business, I would hire her in a heartbeat. I went in for a typing test. I consider myself to be a decent typist. But out the word "test" in front of anything and I become a nervous wreck. She made me feel so comfortable with her amazing personality that I felt like I was typing an email at home. These people are completely useless. I first went in there nearly a year ago, and they had me fill out a bunch of paperwork, took my resume, than give me a very brief interview and said they would be in touch with me. After a couple weeks of no response, I went back and applied again for a more specific position. After not hearing from them again, I decided to try to find work elsewhere. Than nearly a year after I first applied with them, I heard an ad in the radio, "HUGE HIRING EVENT!" I thought "great!" I got a haircut, dressed nicely and printed out 10 copies of my resume, because I thought I would be talking to employers. I went in and they once again took my resume and had me fill out paperwork. "Thank you very much," the girl at the front desk said. "We'll be in touch with you." When I asked about the "Huge Hiring Event", she told me there is no job fair. They just wanted people to come in and register with them. Talk about false advertising. I told her that I applied with them over a year ago, and didn't hear from them, she told me, "We haven't found anything for you." So what have they been doing for the past year? My dad also applied with them, and they only contacted him AFTER he had found a job, telling him they had something for him. In addition, the employees shout the last 4 digits of people's SS numbers for the entire place to hear. Also, immediately after I first applied, I began receiving emails of fraudulent job advertisings, which Rush claimed weren't from them, but the timing was too coincidental, and oddly enough, the emails stopped after I informed the staff about them. Also, there is only ONE white employee in the entire place, the rest of the employees are Mexican, so it's pretty obvious who they favor and are trying to cater to. These people are nothing but a bunch of scammers, and I wouldn't trust them with your personal information. read more

I would never recommend this place for job seeking. They seemed very interested in helping you when you first walk in, but they don't bother to call you after you take Prove It tests. When I called back to check in, the agent was rude and told me to call back for my scores. It had been a week,I called again and got my scores, they were pretty high, and average. I felt like even with my scores the guy speaking on the other end was uninterested in helping me. It's been 3 weeks, still no call, no texts or emails. read more

This is the worst job agency in Chico. I was offered an "audition" for a position at a pumpkin patch that was far from what they advertised it s. Went to Anderson and Associates and got a better position. A week later I got a VM from Rush so I called back. I spoke with Michelle ( spelled differently) who was so rude and degrading telling me "she would never offer me a job because I missed her audition". The entire phone call she talked to me like I was a child and kept telling me how she wouldn't hire me.. yet somehow offered me a job. I didn't go because I didn't want to kiss someone's ass for 10.99 an hour. PLUS, my friend was injured at a job they assigned her to, was given improper training and was injured. Instead of filings workers comp, they have her working in the office where she is told she's being recorded and watched. This place holds ALL the jobs in Chico and they need to be SHUT DOWN. Not to mention they only drug test black people, if you don't believe me explain why I was offered a warehouse job over the phone yet my boyfriend whos more qualified with warehouse experience was not offered a position and they demanded a drug test for THE SAME POSITION.
