Yesterday, I had to stop at CVS, and noticed that she is kind of hiding behind the magazines/newspapers having her lunch. We had some small talk and we both went our own separate ways. There is also this other man that keeps her company. She said it herself. When it gets dark. This LA newsstand has everything from regular magazines, to newspapers, to trendy magazines, little knick knacks here and there. I mean wall to wall. Whatever you can't find anywhere else, they have it here. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but just the selection and the way it's nicely organized, always captures my attention. Every magazine has its own value/price and are more affordable than anywhere else. However, they don't have books. That's ok, Barnes and Noble is few steps away! The stand itself is super clean and so is the sidewalk, along with both trash cans always empty. It you are in the area, make sure you stop by and say hello to Rene. Support this stand.
