If you are looking at Russ Nomore for your FIberglass Body Street Rod project i strong suggest you look at better quality and long term respectable companies . I have regrets of looking at this company and making a purchase of their 35 Ford chop top cab. After a long 3 month wait I was shipped the the body , to Arizona to their choice of shippers to the terminal in Phoenix. The terrible crating job , that was a extra charge, was horrible and yield light scratches and scrapes in the body from the faulty crate structure. The body finish arrived with a terrible finish. Worst i have ever seen especially compare to the real professional fiberglass body builders. Gel coat finish is splotchy and the parting lines of sections were left rough and basically un touched. The door contour does not match the body contour by as much as 3/8 of an inch that will take excessive fillers and hours of body matching. when the body was place on my chassis it had to be shimmed on 3 corners up to 1/2 inch to level the cab do to the floor being far from level. This purchase included, what was described as, doors and widow glass came completed less door handles and window crank handles. Far from the truth. The glass in doors was thrown in with terrible fit contour to the window frame and the garnish molding were not mounted nor finished to fit. And i received them with 2 right side shapes. No left side. The driver door glass was cut and ground extremely bad and un usable. Then there was an option i purchased of a Windshield kit for $515 and rear glass for $75. Neither of which were cut to be useable. I was asked to send a pattern and a tracing of which i did an my cost of 3 hours and $68 shipping. The result was nothing less than be being screwed. The excuse was by Carl , that he would not send me a new glass from bad past shipping luck, nor would they refund me the options i paid for. He blamed their 3rd party glass vendor, of which i had nothing to do with, for the poor job and offer me a total of $196 that i never received that he was refunded back from the vendor. Its terrible customer service based on first, their terrible quality and yet screw me for for their mistakes not mine. They installed the bad window glass in their shop and was they never checked for the fit on either of the windshield or rear window that was shipped. Now the unfinish and not installed door window garnish pieces, that i see as nothing less than more trouble as they do not appear to be usable for any acceptable fit. I have had absolutely no retribution of any poor quality that i have described above. So buyer beware. Carl and Donna , the 2 contact people i dealt with have a nice personably demeanor but when it comes to correcting their mistakes or follow thru with any customer service that relates to costs of fixing anything for this customer that has 8 months of patience with have shown to be a Huge Mistake for a company choice to purchase out of state. Opinion and facts are as suggested, look else where and do not be bought by the friendly talk with no action of quality or customer service. read more
