I made an online appointment for support for my new iPhone. I arrived early for my appointment and waited around until 10 minutes after my appointment to find out the store was closed due to staffing issues. No note on the door and website wasn't updated disclosing a closure, but instead allowed people to make support appointments. When I called their headquarters they didn't seem to care that I was inconvenienced. The lady just said "oh yeah, they were closed yesterday due to staffing issues". Really? Bad service to allow appointments when place is closed. I would recommend going to the Verizon Store in Fayetteville Ga. I was able to get another appointment same day there and the staff was very nice and helpful. My phone needed a new SIM card. Took 5 minutes and I was on my way home. read more

A simple change to add a number to an existing account became a nightmare. Russel Cellular's agent deleted my long term Verizon phone number. Verizon spent hours trying to undo the Russell Cellulars mistake. They could not fix the gross error made by Russel Cellular. Use this agent at your own risk. read more

Juan was an incredible representative. I'm shocked at the 3 reviews I've read on here. My experience here was radically Superior to any I've ever had at any other cellular retailer. I left my phone outside in the rain and it stopped working. Totally my fault, but a nightmare, especially at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. I work 65 hours a week, my phone is a critical piece of equipment, and I never have time for the kind of hassle that changing phones always seems to be. I rushed to the closest store, because I had to work at 8am the next morning, all day, repeat Tuesday, and it would have been impossible for me to get into a store any other time before Wednesday. Luckily for me, I arrived at the place 10 minutes before closing. There were two reps, who were each helping other customers. I was greeted and asked what kind of assistance I needed, then assured I'd be assisted once someone became available. After 30 minutes or so, Juan came over and looked at my old phone and tried to revive it, to no avail. I let Juan know that I just wanted an inexpensive phone to keep me connected. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and helpful. He patiently showed me all of my options without trying to oversell me. He also looked over my family's plan to try to save us some money. He had great energy and enthusiasm, despite the fact that we were there over an hour past closing. Juan made the dreaded task of replacing a phone almost enjoyable. Definitely the finest customer service I've ever dealt with in a wireless retail setting. Top 5, at least, all time, customer service across all retail experiences. This guy should be training people on exactly how to perform that job. He could not have been better. read more

After trying to purchase two iPhones XR through online Verizon Chat and getting to the point of purchase, the system disconnected me twice! I was almost in tears. I had been chatting with two different reps for 2 hours! I got in the car and drove to Russell Cellular in Newnan. A sweet rep named Kaitlyn helped me. She could have told me the special was online only, but she went through the process herself and helped me purchase the phones. She was so sweet and helpful. She called Verizon herself and walked through the purchase with an actual person. She is a blessing to Verizon. She deserves praise for patience and understanding of the situation. read more

Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever had that wasn't at a McDonald's. They were unprofessional, not helpful, not knowledgeable, and it took another customer helping me for 5 minutes to even begin to figure out the issue I was having with transferring information to my brand new phone--he even had to ask one salesman for two specific tools from inside one of the desks and got it out to mess with my phone. He didn't even work there and he was more helpful than ANY of them!! Initially the two women I approached at a desk seemed interested in helping me but as soon as they realized I had a prepaid plan, each employee told the others that I was prepaid (as though that makes any freaking difference in what service I should get) and they would glance at my phone and say "I don't know how to do that" or "Nope, can't help ya". The most help that I got was when one saleslady came up, ripped open my old phone (without even turning it off) that I was trying to transfer data from and almost broke my sim card in half trying to pry it out of the back using her nails. She shoved it into the new phone and walked off, apparently being finished with me. Once my sim card was moved, I literally stood there alone for the remainder of my time in that pathetic excuse for a store and would ask a question "Is there a way to ______?" and direct it to the entire room and the salespeople would either ignore me or after I'd repeat myself, somebody might offer a yes or no without even looking at me. Because again, moving my sim card was all anybody was interested in trying to do to help me. Even when I first walked in, nobody looked up or acknowledged me (which is fine, if things are super busy) and then one sales person walked up to and then around me to go greet her friends who were coming in the door before turning back and going "oh, did you need help?" Of course I need help--I wouldn't be here otherwise!! Then, after realizing I was prepaid and using a phone she didn't recognize, she walked off to play with her friend's kid. There was one other customer in there besides me and at least five employees in there at the time. I then had to stand there and wait for somebody else to come try to help me and each time, they'd just go "oh I don't know how to do that" and walk off and never come back. SO.....five employees and none of them have been trained on a Windows phone. None of them care to try to offer any help or even get on a computer to try looking up a way to help me. All of them are socializing with each other or their friends while the one male employee helps the other customer (who in turn helped me). RIDICULOUS. I don't care that it's not an 'official' Verizon store, that it's privately owned, blah blah, if you're going to put VERIZON in big bold letters on your sign outside and say that you cater to Verizon customers, train your salespeople how to use different devices or at least how to find information if they don't know it already and not act like freaking teenagers at their first ever job. read more

CROOKS. These people swindled my mother telling her she got a free ipad. Turns out it was not free they just tacked on $550 to our bill. I have been on the phone with Verizon and turns out there is nothing we can do but try to spread the word that these people are LIARS and DO NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS trying to scam an old lady yall should be ASHAMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
