I once read that a lot of what technology makes easier is only needed in the first place because of, well, technology. When it's working, it's great. When it's not, it's like being without a limb, or having the flu - maybe that's dramatic, but I say that ONLY to give perspective to the fact that phone, tablet, computer issues can feel SO infuriating - especially if we feel helpless to fix it and then are met with unprofessionalism, etc. Thankfully, that didn't happen on my visit to this Verizon wireless location. I'm sure Verizon workers see all of the best and worst of humanity, and when my friend and I came in to get a temporary phone replacement (long story, but we had already been on the phone with several family members, customer service reps, etc for the last 24 hours), we were met with an incredibly friend, professional, efficient, and helpful staff. I wish I could remember the name of the guy who helped us, but he was patient when my friends step dad got on the phone to yell a little (mostly out of frustration because we were tired and annoyed at the issue in general), he was kind, patient, and very informative. Even when he had to repeat himself numerous times, reset and resend things to numerous people involved with this issue, he was still calm, cool and collected. As I observed the atmosphere in the store as whole, I saw that all the other customers were met with the same professionalism and efficiency. Also - they had BOMB uniforms. Medium denim mid-sleeve, black jeans/pants, and kicks. It was a sharp, professional touch that I believe humanized the staff, yet communicated a sense of comfort to the patrons in the store. This could be a company-wide thing (I'm not sure because I don't personally have a Verizon wireless account), but I definitely loved it and would recommend this specific location to anyone with Verizon that needed to go in-store to have an issue resolved. read more

I have had phone service with Verizon for many years and have had other phone companies offer plans for less money... So rather than leave Verizon and I have reached out to several Customer Service personnel at Verizon to see if they could offer me a lower rate after years of service with them and it has been a nightmare! They "accidentally hang up," ..say they're going to check into it and get back to me but never get back to me... Etc. etc. read more

we just went to Russell Cellular in Newnan and couldn't get them to help us. Drove to Verizon store in Newnan by Ashley Park. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and given a wait time. We had t-mobile when we moved down from the north and the service does not reach as well so we switched to Verizon and we LOVED it! We loved the customer service, we loved the perks that they offer, we love their service! We unfortunately were only able to have them for 3 days and we had to change carriers due to the fact that our house roof would not allow our service to come through. Even with that, I'd STILL go back to Verizon any day of the week and I STILL recommend Verizon right off the bat. They have so so much to offer and I have high hopes we will be Verizon customers again! read more

I've been a VZ customer for well over 10 yrs. went into this location last month to upgrade my iPhone. I stupidly listened to the sales guy as he offered me a deal for a upgrade, with "free tablet" & wireless speakers. Asked over & over how the charge would look on my bill, what were the hidden charges... I was repeatedly told there would absolutely no charges to me! (I've worked in sales before & by no means easily fooled) Well 30 days later (outside the 14 day return window) I received my 1st bill after the upgrade- there it was... $10 dollars in taxes for my new tablet that was going to be "absolutely no charge to me"! I immediately contacted customer service, was told that this happens all the ALL the time- there is nothing they can do nothing to stop the stores! BUYER BEWARE!! My husband and I upgraded phones and were in and out quickly....if you want to save time at store, go to verizon website and view phones and figure out what you want before going...then you will know monthly price instead of getting upsold... Also...dont purchase the $45 zagg glass screen protectors. Order on amazon. Zagg cracked at store while they installed...then first week cracked..buy cheap $8 on amazon work better ...zagg has replacement but you have to pay shipping for new one and then pay to ship cracked one back...such a hassle....order cases and protectors on amazon...so much cheaper. read more

Went in just to get a new charger. Nobody could check me out bc all we're doing sales. Having to wait 20 mins to buy an item I can get at a gas station in 5 seconds is a crazy way to do business. Don't go to this store, very unprofessional. They never told me I have to filled paper to get bogo promo, even know I went back double check next day, the guy just hand me the promo paper to keep it. After 3 month. I never got my rebate, and went back to store 3 times. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. They do not care about anything but making money. I've been lied to, taken advantage of, and spoken to like a child. My bill is always wrong and I have contacted them every month so far and have been given a half-assed explanation everytime. switched from att back to verizon think i made a mistake .first off !!! get a receipt or record the rude salesperson selling you your devices double check double check to make sure you have the right device!!!!if they give you the wrong one in their error they will try to charge you a restock fee . when they were the ones running a special on buying a ipad and iphone you get 200. off .adam didn't want to honor that .told me i'd have to pay 200 more that day while he was talking to me like i'm stupid .and leave my brand new ipad i paid cash for there !!!!come back next day and get 100 off ?? all bull they were running that special .they just want more money out of you they are all rude, popmas smart alecs ..cant even get a drink of water to take heart pill !!! very argumentive horrible i mean horrible experience...thank god for the 1 800 verizon number if not for them ..i would have been majorly screwed .when it was 100% their fault....these ppl were approached very nicely with respect .no need for these types of attitudes or wrong information like the first girl we encountered who said "i'm not dealing with this " never again ..you can shut them up with intelligence read more
