Also worth noting that I followed up five months following that to confirm it was done, he said it should still happen because of the pandemic it was taking a while. He did zero-research and he was wrong. Now I have to pay for his mistakes. Tom does not like questions as it requires him to respond in a timely manner which his it appears he is lacking communication skills. Unless it is going to make him a substantial amount of money he doesn't want to respond and don't expect details--five word answers all day long. He will be your registered agent, but made it feel I was wasting his time. When I told him I used my other real estate attorney because I HAD TO SWITCH, he tells me "I am glad you found someone that would work for $200 a year". Funny thing is he works for $110/year so he must want the business...? The goal was to align with a young professional to build a long-term working relationship with. Lesson-learned, you are better-off with experience and if you feel something is off in the beginning--act on that feeling, trust your gut.
