Personally, I would like almost everything that they stock in my garden. But this is sadly unfeasible. As well as the beautiful plant displays outside, they also have a lovely shop inside, with lots of lovely Emma Bridgewater-style gardening ornamentation as well as things for the boys like barbecues and fire pits. They also do a great Christmas tree service: they will cut and plant to your requirements as well as carrying the darn thing out to your car. The shop always looks amazing at Christmas as well, with lots of lovely hand-crafted decorations. They have their own store card as well, which is great if you're a regular. Which I am. Even if I just spend most of my time strolling around looking at plants rather than actually buying anything. Perhaps I need to get out more....

There is a large outdoor section with a huge selection of plants and shrubs and the interior boasts a whole host of goods, from the decorative to the useful. As I'm currently taming my large and unruly back garden, I'm often in here looking for dangerous chemicals! The have a 'Gardening Club' reward scheme that is free to join and actually works out as a genuine reward scheme - many is the time I've got to the counter to pay and fished out my card to receive a discount. They also post you a leaflet every month or so with a list of offers and some vouchers.

Your bog standard Sirdar DK wool was 2 GBP for 100 grams, so 4 GBP for 300 grams. In the little time that I've been knitting, that's pretty good value. My partner got a Airfix project here as well, the HMS Illustrious... starting small ;) As an added bonus I got my mother a dinky concrete birdbath for 25 GBP The place is massive. And to be honest a bit of a maze. Not good when you are trying to find the tills and exit when you are lugging a concrete birdbath without a trolley. A-OK

Good Afternoon I…read morejust felt, having had a thoroughly fruitless and frustrating trip to Webbs this afternoon that I should share my thoughts on the quality of service on display in your store today. We are regular visitors and enjoy our trips generally but having travelled over from Kidderminster having been told your pet department had some Lion Lop rabbits coming available today thought we would investigate. This proved a lot more frustrating than we anticipated, your staff member was handily placed in the middle of the mammals display, crouched admittedly and obviously tending to the animals, "she will acknowledge us in a moment" we thought..er no... a couple more "buying signals" later and still no response I cleared my throat... still nothing... "Excuse Me, can you tell me about the lops please, are they ready to go?" "Yes, but they are all reserved", still crouching! "Oh, it says that they aren't available until today? Will you be getting any more in?", "not like those, they don't breed them this time of year..." ah the famous sexual abstinence of the rabbit!! Very unhelpful, surly and frankly not a great ambassador for your company, lip biting was required to not cause a scene, my wife was equally appalled, not sure about my 18 month old as he was by now distracted by a tortoise but i sensed even then that he was unimpressed! So, that's your wonderful pet department. We then passed a gaggle of shopfloor staff taking the piss out of some new "artichoke" shaped "t lights", another fine example! Then the till lady who served us (Lisa) did so with all the charm and effervescence of a dead badger in the gutter, didn't say hello, goodbye, ask if we wanted a bag or smile (despite my own witticisms and our 18mth old who is at the "hello hello hello" stage of life doing his very best to get her attention). Bottom line, your staff seemed today to be en-masse not loving life and certainly not their jobs or their customers... unless the old wives tale about simultaneous menstruation in close proximity is correct I suggest you need to brighten everyone up a bit. There, I am now back in Kidderminster, started typing by McDonalds so at least i have filled a journey up... Bottom line, not a great experience today, still spent £87.44 though! There is a large parking area, surrounded by sheds and garden offices, so you can pick out your fantasy home office before going into the garden centre itself. This is not the largest of garden centres, nor does it offer the greatest variety of plants, However, it is reasonably priced, and if you want something that is not too exotic, then you will probably find it here. There is a lovely cafe here, serving home made pastas, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and other lunchtime items. You can also sit outside if the weather is good. The cafe is very reasonably priced. Inside, there is a selection of outdoor wear, a small branch of The Works, a selection of cakes, biscuits, jams and condiments, and some lovely items for home decor. The sales here have great discounts, and it is well worth looking out for shelves, baskets and other bargains.

This is a nice store to pick up an usual gift as they stock a big variety of products. This is a spacious store you could easily spend a few hours in. Melbicks have got plants, shrubs and trees galore and we spent ages looking at their stock. They also stock a broad selection of outdoor garden furniture. Huge car park, friendly and helpful staff. Nice cafe to grab a drink or bite to eat during your visit.

I have shopped at Hurrans for many years now for all my garden materials, plants and outdoor ornaments. The centre is big, with a large selection of plants in all kinds, shapes and sizes. The outdoor section is equally big with large stone ornaments such as bird tables, pots and urns. In addition to this there is a large aquarium with numerous fish available. We have purchased many goldfish at Hurrans too over the years, and have been more than satisfied each time. The Centre also has a really really great cafe, quite nice surrounded by tropical plants! The cafe is great value, the cheese on toast with chips and tea deal is definetly recommended, we have done that many a time. In general a great garden centre, cafe and aquarium rolled into one, located in Banbury, easy to get to, with pleasant and welcoming staff. Very recommended.

There were some hardcore Sunday shoppers here and rightly so this place is beautiful. Full on country side vibe with every possible flower and shrub imaginable! I got my trolley and causally stilled around the centre settling on buying some sunflowers and other really hard to pronounce types of flowers for my mom and dads front garden. I have no idea who named some of these varieties of flowers....but they went innnnn...I won't lie a lot of them I couldn't pronounce but I gave it a good go..with varying results.... The flowers here are super cheap too the sunflowers were like 1.50 each and most pots are below £3...bargains galore!! The only thing to note is the tills are busy...people are flocking for a wide for those bargain blooms so set out an afternoon for this trip it's definitely going to take you a a few to see everything and pay....but that's the vibe surely...loved it.

Really you should just go ahead and make a day of it - this would include enjoying coffee or lunch in their ample restaurant that serves lunch, cakes, jacket potatoes, soup, sandwiches. There is an outside seating area if the weather in good. For £10 you can join their annual discount club and receive 10% off everything, sometimes increasing to 20%, and enjoy two free coffees a month.
